1 The LORD said to Moses,
1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 이르시되
1. 耶和華曉諭摩西說：
2 "Consecrate to me every firstborn male. The first offspring of every womb among the Israelites belongs to me, whether man or animal."
2 이스라엘 자손 중에서 사람이나 짐승을 막론하고 태에서 처음 난 모든 것은 다 거룩히 구별하여 내게 돌리라 이는 내 것이니라 하시니라
2. 以色列中凡頭生的，無論是人是牲畜，都是我的，要分別爲聖歸我。
3 Then Moses said to the people, "Commemorate this day, the day you came out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery, because the LORD brought you out of it with a mighty hand. Eat nothing containing yeast.
3 모세가 백성에게 이르되 너희는 애굽 곧 종 되었던 집에서 나온 그 날을 기념하여 유교병을 먹지 말라 여호와께서 그 손의 권능으로 너희를 그 곳에서 인도해 내셨음이니라
3. 摩西對百姓說：你們要記念從埃及爲奴之家出來的這日，因爲耶和華用大能的手將你們從這地方領出來。有酵的都不可喫。
4 Today, in the month of Abib, you are leaving.
4 아빕월 이 날에 너희가 나왔으니
4. 亞筆月間的這日是你們出來的日子。
5 When the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites and Jebusites--the land he swore to your forefathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey--you are to observe this ceremony in this month:
5 여호와께서 너를 인도하여 가나안 사람과 헷 사람과 아모리 사람과 히위 사람과 여부스 사람의 땅 곧 네게 주시려고 네 조상들에게 맹세하신 바 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅에 이르게 하시거든 너는 이 달에 이 예식을 지켜
5. 將來耶和華領你進迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、希未人、耶布斯人之地，就是他向你的祖宗起誓應許給你那流奶與之地，那時你要在這月間守這禮。
6 For seven days eat bread made without yeast and on the seventh day hold a festival to the LORD.
6 이레 동안 무교병을 먹고 일곱째 날에는 여호와께 절기를 지키라
6. 你要喫無酵餅七日，到第七日要向耶和華守節。
7 Eat unleavened bread during those seven days; nothing with yeast in it is to be seen among you, nor shall any yeast be seen anywhere within your borders.
7 이레 동안에는 무교병을 먹고 유교병을 네게 보이지 아니하게 하며 네 땅에서 누룩을 네게 보이지 아니하게 하라
7. 這七日之久，要喫無酵餅；在你四境之內不可見有酵的餅，也不可見發酵的物。
8 On that day tell your son, 'I do this because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.'
8 너는 그 날에 네 아들에게 보여 이르기를 이 예식은 내가 애굽에서 나을 때에 여호와께서 나를 위하여 행하신 일로 말미암음이라 하고
8. 當那日，你要告訴你的兒子說：這是因耶和華在我出埃及的時候爲我所行的事。
9 This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that the law of the LORD is to be on your lips. For the LORD brought you out of Egypt with his mighty hand.
9 이것으로 네 손의 기호와 네 미간의 표를 삼고 여호와의 율법이 네 입에 있게 하라 이는 여호와께서 강하신 손으로 너를 애굽에서 인도하여 내셨음이니
9. 這要在你手上作記號，在你額上作記念，使耶和華的律法常在你口中，因爲耶和華曾用大能的手將你從埃及領出。
10 You must keep this ordinance at the appointed time year after year.
10 해마다 절기가 되면 이 규례를 지킬지니라
10. 所以你每年要按著日期守這例。
11 "After the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites and gives it to you, as he promised on oath to you and your forefathers,
11 여호와께서 너와 네 조상에게 맹세하신 대로 너를 가나안 사람의 땅에 인도하시고 그 땅을 네게 주시거든
11. 將來，耶和華照他向你和你祖宗所起的誓將你領進迦南人之地，把這地賜給你，
12 you are to give over to the LORD the first offspring of every womb. All the firstborn males of your livestock belong to the LORD.
12 너는 태에서 처음 난 모든 것과 네게 있는 가축의 태에서 처음 난 것을 다 구별하여 여호와께 돌리라 수컷은 여호와의 것이니라
12. 那時你要將一切頭生的，並牲畜中頭生的，歸給耶和華；公的都要屬耶和華。
13 Redeem with a lamb every firstborn donkey, but if you do not redeem it, break its neck. Redeem every firstborn among your sons.
13 나귀의 첫 새끼는 다 어린 양으로 대속할 것이요 그렇게 하지 아니하려면 그 목을 꺾을 것이며 네 아들 중 처음 난 모든 자는 대속할지니라
13. 凡頭生的驢，你要用羊羔代贖；若不代贖，就要打折他的頸項。凡你兒子中頭生的都要贖出來。
14 "In days to come, when your son asks you, 'What does this mean?' say to him, 'With a mighty hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
14 후일에 네 아들이 네게 묻기를 이것이 어찌 됨이냐 하거든 너는 그에게 이르기를 여호와께서 그 손의 권능으로 우리를 애굽에서 곧 종이 되었던 집에서 인도하여 내실새
14. 日後，你的兒子問你說：這是甚麽意思？你就說：耶和華用大能的手將我們從埃及爲奴之家領出來。
15 When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the LORD killed every firstborn in Egypt, both man and animal. This is why I sacrifice to the LORD the first male offspring of every womb and redeem each of my firstborn sons.'
15 그 때에 바로가 완악하여 우리를 보내지 아니하매 여호와께서 애굽 나라 가운데 처음 난 모든 것은 사람의 장자로부터 가축의 처음 난 것까지 다 죽이셨으므로 태에서 처음 난 모든 수컷들은 내가 여호와께 제사를 드려서 내 아들 중에 모든 처음 난 자를 다 대속하리니
15. 那時法老幾乎不容我們去，耶和華就把埃及地所有頭生的，無論是人是牲畜，都殺了。因此，我把一切頭生的公畜獻給耶和華爲祭，但將頭生的兒子都贖出來。
16 And it will be like a sign on your hand and a symbol on your forehead that the LORD brought us out of Egypt with his mighty hand."
16 이것이 네 손의 기호와 네 미간의 표가 되리라 이는 여호와께서 그 손의 권능으로 우리를 애굽에서 인도하여 내셨음이니라 할지니라
16. 這要在你手上作記號，在你額上作經文，因爲耶和華用大能的手將我們從埃及領出來。
17 When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, "If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt."
17 바로가 백성을 보낸 후에 블레셋 사람의 땅의 길은 가까울지라도 하나님이 그들을 그 길로 인도하지 아니하셨으니 이는 하나님이 말씀하시기를 이 백성이 전쟁을 하게 되면 마음을 돌이켜 애굽으로 돌아갈까 하셨음이라
17. 法老容百姓去的時候，非利士地的道路雖近，神卻不領他們從那裏走；因爲神說：恐怕百姓遇見打仗後悔，就回及去。
18 So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea. The Israelites went up out of Egypt armed for battle.
18 그러므로 하나님이 홍해의 광야 길로 돌려 백성을 인도하시매 이스라엘 자손이 애굽 땅에서 대열을 지어 나올 때에
18. 所以神領百姓繞道而行，走紅海曠野的路。以色列人出埃及地，都帶著兵器上去。
19 Moses took the bones of Joseph with him because Joseph had made the sons of Israel swear an oath. He had said, "God will surely come to your aid, and then you must carry my bones up with you from this place."
19 모세가 요셉의 유골을 가졌으니 이는 요셉이 이스라엘 자손으로 단단히 맹세하게 하여 이르기를 하나님이 반드시 너희를 찾아오시리니 너희는 내 유골을 여기서 가지고 나가라 하였음이더라
19. 摩西把約瑟的骸骨一同帶去；因爲約瑟曾叫以色列人嚴嚴的起誓，對他們說：神必眷顧你們，你們要把我的骸骨這裏一同帶上去。
20 After leaving Succoth they camped at Etham on the edge of the desert.
20 그들이 숙곳을 떠나서 광야 끝 에담에 장막을 치니
20. 他們從疏割起行，在曠野邊的以倘安營。
21 By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.
21 여호와께서 그들 앞에서 가시며 낮에는 구름 기둥으로 그들의 길을 인도하시고 밤에는 불 기둥을 그들에게 비추사 낮이나 밤이나 진행하게 하시니
21. 日間，耶和華在雲柱中領他們的路；夜間，在火柱中光照他們，使他們日夜都可以行走。
22 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.
22 낮에는 구름 기둥, 밤에는 불 기둥이 백성 앞에서 떠나지 아니하니라
22. 日間雲柱，夜間火柱，總不離開百姓的面前。
