1 Abraham took another wife, whose name was Keturah.
1 아브라함이 후처를 맞이하였으니 그의 이름은 그두라라
1. 亞伯拉罕又娶了一妻，名叫基土拉。
2 She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah.
2 그가 시므란과 욕산과 므단과 미디안과 이스박과 수아를 낳고
2. 基土拉給他生了心蘭、約珊、米但、米甸、伊施巴，和書亞。
3 Jokshan was the father of Sheba and Dedan; the descendants of Dedan were the Asshurites, the Letushites and the Leummites.
3 욕산은 스바와 드단을 낳았으며 드단의 자손은 앗수르 족속과 르두시 족속과 르움미 족속이며
3. 約珊生了示巴和底但。底但的子孫是亞書利族、利都是族，和利烏米族。
4 The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida and Eldaah. All these were descendants of Keturah.
4 미디안의 아들은 에바와 에벨과 하녹과 아비다와 엘다아이니 다 그두라의 자손이었더라
4. 米甸的兒子是以法、以弗、哈諾、亞比大，和以勒大。這都是基土拉的子孫。
5 Abraham left everything he owned to Isaac.
5 아브라함이 이삭에게 자기의 모든 소유를 주었고
5. 亞伯拉罕將一切所有的都給了以撒。
6 But while he was still living, he gave gifts to the sons of his concubines and sent them away from his son Isaac to the land of the east.
6 자기 서자들에게도 재산을 주어 자기 생전에 그들로 하여금 자기 아들 이삭을 떠나 동방 곧 동쪽 땅으로 가게 하였더라
6. 亞伯拉罕把財物分給他庶出的衆子，趁著自己還在世的時候打發他們離開他的兒子以撒，往東方去。
7 Altogether, Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years.
7 아브라함의 향년이 백칠십오 세라
7. 亞伯拉罕一生的年日是一百七十五歲。
8 Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age, an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people.
8 그의 나이가 높고 늙어서 기운이 다하여 죽어 자기 열조에게로 돌아가매
8. 亞伯拉罕壽高年邁，氣絶而死，歸到他列祖【原文作本民】那裏。
9 His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre, in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite,
9 그의 아들들인 이삭과 이스마엘이 그를 마므레 앞 헷 족속 소할의 아들 에브론의 밭에 있는 막벨라 굴에 장사하였으니
9. 他兩個兒子以撒、以實瑪利把他埋葬在麥比拉洞裏。這洞在幔利前、赫人瑣轄的兒子以弗崙的田中，
10 the field Abraham had bought from the Hittites. There Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah.
10 이것은 아브라함이 헷 족속에게서 산 밭이라 아브라함과 그의 아내 사라가 거기 장사되니라
10. 就是亞伯拉罕向赫人買的那塊田。亞伯拉罕和他妻子撒拉都葬在那裏。
11 After Abraham's death, God blessed his son Isaac, who then lived near Beer Lahai Roi.
11 아브라함이 죽은 후에 하나님이 그의 아들 이삭에게 복을 주셨고 이삭은 브엘라해로이 근처에 거주하였더라
11. 亞伯拉罕死了以後，神賜福給他的兒子以撒。以撒靠近庇耳拉海萊居住。
12 This is the account of Abraham's son Ishmael, whom Sarah's maidservant, Hagar the Egyptian, bore to Abraham.
12 사라의 여종 애굽인 하갈이 아브라함에게 낳은 아들 이스마엘의 족보는 이러하고
12. 撒拉的使女埃及人夏甲給亞伯拉罕所生的兒子是以實瑪利。
13 These are the names of the sons of Ishmael, listed in the order of their birth: Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
13 이스마엘의 아들들의 이름은 그 이름과 그 세대대로 이와 같으니라 이스마엘의 장자는 느바욧이요 그 다음은 게달과 앗브엘과 밉삼과
13. 以實瑪利兒子們的名字，按著他們的家譜記在下面。以實瑪利的長子是尼拜約，又有基達、亞德別、米比衫、
14 Mishma, Dumah, Massa,
14 미스마와 두마와 맛사와
14. 米施瑪、度瑪、瑪撒、
15 Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish and Kedemah.
15 하닷과 데마와 여둘과 나비스와 게드마니
15. 哈大、提瑪、伊突、拿非施、基底瑪。
16 These were the sons of Ishmael, and these are the names of the twelve tribal rulers according to their settlements and camps.
16 이들은 이스마엘의 아들들이요 그 촌과 부락대로 된 이름이며 그 족속대로는 열두 지도자들이었더라
16. 這是以實瑪利衆子的名字，照著他們的村莊、營寨，作了十二族的族長。
17 Altogether, Ishmael lived a hundred and thirty-seven years. He breathed his last and died, and he was gathered to his people.
17 이스마엘은 향년이 백삼십칠 세에 기운이 다하여 죽어 자기 백성에게로 돌아갔고
17. 以實瑪利享壽一百三十七歲，氣絶而死，歸到他列祖【原文作本民】那裏。
18 His descendants settled in the area from Havilah to Shur, near the border of Egypt, as you go toward Asshur. And they lived in hostility toward all their brothers.
18 그 자손들은 하윌라에서부터 앗수르로 통하는 애굽 앞 술까지 이르러 그 모든 형제의 맞은편에 거주하였더라
18. 他子孫的住處在他衆弟兄東邊，從哈腓拉直到埃及前的書珥，正在亞述的道上。
19 This is the account of Abraham's son Isaac. Abraham became the father of Isaac,
19 아브라함의 아들 이삭의 족보는 이러하니라 아브라함이 이삭을 낳았고
19. 亞伯拉罕的兒子以撒的後代記在下面。亞伯拉罕生以撒。
20 and Isaac was forty years old when he married Rebekah daughter of Bethuel the Aramean from Paddan Aram and sister of Laban the Aramean.
20 이삭은 사십 세에 리브가를 맞이하여 아내를 삼았으니 리브가는 밧단 아람의 아람 족속 중 브두엘의 딸이요 아람 족속 중 라반의 누이였더라
20. 以撒娶利百加爲妻的時候正四十歲。利百加是巴旦亞蘭地的亞蘭人彼土利的女兒，是亞蘭人拉班的妹子。
21 Isaac prayed to the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was barren. The LORD answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant.
21 이삭이 그의 아내가 임신하지 못하므로 그를 위하여 여호와께 간구하매 여호와께서 그의 간구를 들으셨으므로 그의 아내 리브가가 임신하였더니
21. 以撒因他妻子不生育，就爲他祈求耶和華；耶和華應允他的祈求，他的妻子利百加就懷了孕。
22 The babies jostled each other within her, and she said, "Why is this happening to me?" So she went to inquire of the LORD.
22 그 아들들이 그의 태 속에서 서로 싸우는지라 그가 이르되 이럴 경우에는 내가 어찌할꼬 하고 가서 여호와께 묻자온대
22. 孩子們在他腹中彼此相爭，他就說：若是這樣，我爲甚麽活著呢【或作我爲甚麽如此呢】？他就去求問耶和華。
23 The LORD said to her, "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger."
23 여호와께서 그에게 이르시되 두 국민이 네 태중에 있구나 두 민족이 네 복중에서부터 나누이리라 이 족속이 저 족속보다 강하겠고 큰 자가 어린 자를 섬기리라 하셨더라
23. 耶和華對他說：兩國在你腹內；兩族要從你身上出來。這族必强於那族；將來大的要服事小的。
24 When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb.
24 그 해산 기한이 찬즉 태에 쌍둥이가 있었는데
24. 生産的日子到了，腹中果然是雙子。
25 The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau.
25 먼저 나온 자는 붉고 전신이 털 옷 같아서 이름을 에서라 하였고
25. 先産的身體發紅，渾身有毛，如同皮衣，他們就給他起名叫以掃【就是有毛的意思】。
26 After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau's heel; so he was named Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them.
26 후에 나온 아우는 손으로 에서의 발꿈치를 잡았으므로 그 이름을 야곱이라 하였으며 리브가가 그들을 낳을 때에 이삭이 육십 세였더라
26. 隨後又生了以掃的兄弟，手抓住以掃的脚跟，因此給他起名叫雅各【就是抓住的意思】。利百加生下兩個兒子的候，以撒年正六十歲。
27 The boys grew up, and Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the open country, while Jacob was a quiet man, staying among the tents.
27 그 아이들이 장성하매 에서는 익숙한 사냥꾼이었으므로 들사람이 되고 야곱은 조용한 사람이었으므로 장막에 거주하니
27. 兩個孩子漸漸長大，以掃善於打獵，常在田野；雅各爲人安靜，常住在帳棚裏。
28 Isaac, who had a taste for wild game, loved Esau, but Rebekah loved Jacob.
28 이삭은 에서가 사냥한 고기를 좋아하므로 그를 사랑하고 리브가는 야곱을 사랑하였더라
28. 以撒愛以掃，因爲常喫他的野味；利百加卻愛雅各。
29 Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished.
29 야곱이 죽을 쑤었더니 에서가 들에서 돌아와서 심히 피곤하여
29. 有一天，雅各熬湯，以掃從田野回來累昏了。
30 He said to Jacob, "Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I'm famished!" (That is why he was also called Edom.)
30 야곱에게 이르되 내가 피곤하니 그 붉은 것을 내가 먹게 하라 한지라 그러므로 에서의 별명은 에돔이더라
30. 以掃對雅各說：我累昏了，求你把這紅湯給我喝。因此以掃又叫以東【就是紅的意思】。
31 Jacob replied, "First sell me your birthright."
31 야곱이 이르되 형의 장자의 명분을 오늘 내게 팔라
31. 雅各說：你今日把長子的名分賣給我罷。
32 "Look, I am about to die," Esau said. "What good is the birthright to me?"
32 에서가 이르되 내가 죽게 되었으니 이 장자의 명분이 내게 무엇이 유익하리요
32. 以掃說：我將要死，這長子的名分於我有甚麽益處呢？
33 But Jacob said, "Swear to me first." So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.
33 야곱이 이르되 오늘 내게 맹세하라 에서가 맹세하고 장자의 명분을 야곱에게 판지라
33. 雅各說：你今日對我起誓罷。以掃就對他起了誓，把長子的名分賣給雅各。
34 Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, and then got up and left. So Esau despised his birthright.
34 야곱이 떡과 팥죽을 에서에게 주매 에서가 먹으며 마시고 일어나 갔으니 에서가 장자의 명분을 가볍게 여김이었더라
34. 於是雅各將餅和紅豆湯給了以掃，以掃喫了喝了，便起來走了。這就是以掃輕看了他長子的名分。
