1 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD:
1 여호와께로부터 예레미야에게 말씀이 임하니라 이르시되
1. 耶和華的話臨到耶利米說：
2 "Stand at the gate of the LORD'S house and there proclaim this message: "'Hear the word of the LORD, all you people of Judah who come through these gates to worship the LORD.
2 너는 여호와의 집 문에 서서 이 말을 선포하여 이르기를 여호와께 예배하러 이 문으로 들어가는 유다 사람들아 여호와의 말씀을 들으라
2. 你當站在耶和華殿的門口，在那著宣傳這話說：你們進這些門敬拜耶和華的一切猶大人，當聽耶和華的話。
3 This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Reform your ways and your actions, and I will let you live in this place.
3 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 너희 길과 행위를 바르게 하라 그리하면 내가 너희로 이 곳에 살게 하리라
3. 萬軍之耶和華─以色列的神如此說：你們改正行動作爲，我就使你們在這地方仍然居住。
4 Do not trust in deceptive words and say, "This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD!"
4 너희는 이것이 여호와의 성전이라, 여호와의 성전이라, 여호와의 성전이라 하는 거짓말을 믿지 말라
4. 你們不要倚靠虛謊的話，說：這些是耶和華的殿，是耶和華的殿，是耶和華的殿！
5 If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly,
5 너희가 만일 길과 행위를 참으로 바르게 하여 이웃들 사이에 정의를 행하며
5. 你們若實在改正行動作爲，在人和鄰舍中間誠然施行公平，
6 if you do not oppress the alien, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm,
6 이방인과 고아와 과부를 압제하지 아니하며 무죄한 자의 피를 이 곳에서 흘리지 아니하며 다른 신들 뒤를 따라 화를 자초하지 아니하면
6. 不欺壓寄居的和孤兒寡婦；在這地方不流無辜人的血，也不隨從別神陷害自己；
7 then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your forefathers for ever and ever.
7 내가 너희를 이 곳에 살게 하리니 곧 너희 조상에게 영원무궁토록 준 땅에니라
7. 我就使你們在這地方仍然居住，就是我古時所賜給你們列祖的地，直到永遠。
8 But look, you are trusting in deceptive words that are worthless.
8 보라 너희가 무익한 거짓말을 의존하는도다
8. 看那，你們倚靠虛謊無益的話。
9 "'Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal and follow other gods you have not known,
9 너희가 도둑질하며 살인하며 간음하며 거짓 맹세하며 바알에게 분향하며 너희가 알지 못하는 다른 신들을 따르면서
9. 你們偸盜，殺害，姦淫，起假誓，向巴力燒香，並隨從素不認識的別神，
10 and then come and stand before me in this house, which bears my Name, and say, "We are safe"--safe to do all these detestable things?
10 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 이 집에 들어와서 내 앞에 서서 말하기를 우리가 구원을 얻었나이다 하느냐 이는 이 모든 가증한 일을 행하려 함이로다
10. 且來到這稱爲我名下的殿，在我面前敬拜；又說：我們可以自由了。你們這樣的擧動是要行那些可憎的事麽？
11 Has this house, which bears my Name, become a den of robbers to you? But I have been watching! declares the LORD.
11 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 이 집이 너희 눈에는 도둑의 소굴로 보이느냐 보라 나 곧 내가 그것을 보았노라 여호와의 말씀이니라
11. 這稱爲我名下的殿在你們眼中豈可看爲賊窩麽？我都看見了。這是耶和華說的。
12 "'Go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for my Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel.
12 너희는 내가 처음으로 내 이름을 둔 처소 실로에 가서 내 백성 이스라엘의 악에 대하여 내가 어떻게 행하였는지를 보라
12. 你們且往示羅去，就是我先前立爲我名的居所，察看我因這百姓以色列的罪惡向那地所行的如何。
13 While you were doing all these things, declares the LORD, I spoke to you again and again, but you did not listen; I called you, but you did not answer.
13 여호와의 말씀이니라 이제 너희가 그 모든 일을 행하였으며 내가 너희에게 말하되 새벽부터 부지런히 말하여도 듣지 아니하였고 너희를 불러도 대답하지 아니하였느니라
13. 耶和華說：現在因你們行了這一切的事，我也從早起來警戒你們，你們卻不聽從；呼喚你們，你們卻不答應。
14 Therefore, what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears my Name, the temple you trust in, the place I gave to you and your fathers.
14 그러므로 내가 실로에 행함 같이 너희가 신뢰하는 바 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 이 집 곧 너희와 너희 조상들에게 준 이 곳에 행하겠고
14. 所以我要向這稱我爲名下、你們所倚靠的殿，與我所賜給你們和你們列祖的地施行，照我從前向示羅所行的一樣。
15 I will thrust you from my presence, just as I did all your brothers, the people of Ephraim.'
15 내가 너희 모든 형제 곧 에브라임 온 자손을 쫓아낸 것 같이 내 앞에서 너희를 쫓아내리라 하셨다 할지니라
15. 我必將你們從我眼前趕出，正如趕出你們的衆弟兄，就是以法蓮的一切後裔。
16 "So do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them; do not plead with me, for I will not listen to you.
16 그런즉 너는 이 백성을 위하여 기도하지 말라 그들을 위하여 부르짖어 구하지 말라 내게 간구하지 말라 내가 네게서 듣지 아니하리라
16. 所以，你不要爲這百姓祈禱；不要爲他們呼求禱告，也不要向我爲他們祈求，因我不聽允你。
17 Do you not see what they are doing in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
17 너는 그들이 유다 성읍들과 예루살렘 거리에서 행하는 일을 보지 못하느냐
17. 他們在猶大城邑中和耶路撒冷街上所行的，你沒有看見麽？
18 The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough and make cakes of bread for the Queen of Heaven. They pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke me to anger.
18 자식들은 나무를 줍고 아버지들은 불을 피우며 부녀들은 가루를 반죽하여 하늘의 여왕을 위하여 과자를 만들며 그들이 또 다른 신들에게 전제를 부음으로 나의 노를 일으키느니라
18. 孩子撿柴，父親燒火，婦女摶麵作餅，獻給天后，又向別神澆奠祭，惹我發怒。
19 But am I the one they are provoking? declares the LORD. Are they not rather harming themselves, to their own shame?
19 여호와의 말씀이니라 그들이 나를 격노하게 함이냐 자기 얼굴에 부끄러움을 자취함이 아니냐
19. 耶和華說：他們豈是惹我發怒呢？不是自己惹禍，以致臉上慚愧麽？
20 "'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: My anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, on man and beast, on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground, and it will burn and not be quenched.
20 그러므로 주 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시니라 보라 나의 진노와 분노를 이 곳과 사람과 짐승과 들나무와 땅의 소산에 부으리니 불 같이 살라지고 꺼지지 아니하리라 하시니라
20. 所以主耶和華如此說：看那，我必將我的怒氣和忿怒傾在這地方的人和牲畜身上，並田野的樹木和地著的出産上必如火著起，不能熄滅。
21 "'This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Go ahead, add your burnt offerings to your other sacrifices and eat the meat yourselves!
21 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 너희 희생제물과 번제물의 고기를 아울러 먹으라
21. 萬軍之耶和華─以色列的神如此說：你們將燔祭加在平安祭上，喫肉罷！
22 For when I brought your forefathers out of Egypt and spoke to them, I did not just give them commands about burnt offerings and sacrifices,
22 사실은 내가 너희 조상들을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낸 날에 번제나 희생에 대하여 말하지 아니하며 명령하지 아니하고
22. 因爲我將你們列祖從埃及地領出來的那日，燔祭平安祭的事我並沒有提說，也沒有吩咐他們。
23 but I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in all the ways I command you, that it may go well with you.
23 오직 내가 이것을 그들에게 명령하여 이르기를 너희는 내 목소리를 들으라 그리하면 나는 너희 하나님이 되겠고 너희는 내 백성이 되리라 너희는 내가 명령한 모든 길로 걸어가라 그리하면 복을 받으리라 하였으나
23. 我只吩咐他們這一件說：你們當聽從我的話，我就作你們的神，你們也作我的子民。你們行我所吩咐的一切道，可以得福。
24 But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubborn inclinations of their evil hearts. They went backward and not forward.
24 그들이 순종하지 아니하며 귀를 기울이지도 아니하고 자신들의 악한 마음의 죄와 완악한 대로 행하여 그 등을 내게로 돌리고 그 얼굴을 향하지 아니하였으며
24. 他們卻不聽從，不側耳而聽，竟隨從自己的計謀和頑梗的惡心，向後不向前。
25 From the time your forefathers left Egypt until now, day after day, again and again I sent you my servants the prophets.
25 너희 조상들이 애굽 땅에서 나온 날부터 오늘까지 내가 내 종 선지자들을 너희에게 보내되 끊임없이 보내었으나
25. 自從你們列祖出埃及地的那日，直到今日，我差遣我的僕人衆先知到你們那裏去，每日從早起來差遣他們。
26 But they did not listen to me or pay attention. They were stiff-necked and did more evil than their forefathers.'
26 너희가 나에게 순종하지 아니하며 귀를 기울이지 아니하고 목을 굳게 하여 너희 조상들보다 악을 더 행하였느니라
26. 你們卻不聽從，不側耳而聽，竟硬著頸項行惡，比你們列祖更甚。
27 "When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you; when you call to them, they will not answer.
27 네가 그들에게 이 모든 말을 할지라도 그들이 너에게 순종하지 아니할 것이요 네가 그들을 불러도 그들이 네게 대답하지 아니하리니
27. 你要將這一切的話告訴他們，他們卻不聽從；呼喚他們，他們卻不答應。
28 Therefore say to them, 'This is the nation that has not obeyed the LORD its God or responded to correction. Truth has perished; it has vanished from their lips.
28 너는 그들에게 말하기를 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와의 목소리를 순종하지 아니하며 교훈을 받지 아니하는 민족이라 진실이 없어져 너희 입에서 끊어졌다 할지니라
28. 你要對他們說：這就是不聽從耶和華─他們神的話、不受敎訓的國民；從他們的口中，誠實滅絶了。
29 Cut off your hair and throw it away; take up a lament on the barren heights, for the LORD has rejected and abandoned this generation that is under his wrath.
29 너의 머리털을 베어 버리고 벗은 산 위에서 통곡할지어다 여호와께서 그 노하신 바 이 세대를 끊어 버리셨음이라
29. 耶路撒冷阿，要剪髮抛棄，在淨光的高處擧哀；因爲耶和華丢掉離棄了惹他忿怒的世代。
30 "'The people of Judah have done evil in my eyes, declares the LORD. They have set up their detestable idols in the house that bears my Name and have defiled it.
30 여호와께서 말씀하시되 유다 자손이 나의 눈 앞에 악을 행하여 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 집에 그들의 가증한 것을 두어 집을 더럽혔으며
30. 耶和華說：猶大人行我眼中看爲惡的事，將可憎之物設立在稱爲我名下的殿中，汚穢這殿。
31 They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire--something I did not command, nor did it enter my mind.
31 힌놈의 아들 골짜기에 도벳 사당을 건축하고 그들의 자녀들을 불에 살랐나니 내가 명령하지 아니하였고 내 마음에 생각하지도 아니한 일이니라
31. 他們在欣嫩子谷建築陀斐特的邱壇，好在火中焚燒自己的兒女。這並不是我所吩咐的，也不是我心所起的意。
32 So beware, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when people will no longer call it Topheth or the Valley of Ben Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter, for they will bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room.
32 그러므로 여호와께서 말씀하시니라 날이 이르면 이 곳을 도벳이라 하거나 힌놈의 아들의 골짜기라 말하지 아니하고 죽임의 골짜기라 말하리니 이는 도벳에 자리가 없을 만큼 매장했기 때문이니라
32. 耶和華說：因此，日子將到，這地方不再稱爲陀斐特和欣嫩子谷，反倒稱爲殺戮谷。因爲要在陀斐特葬埋屍首，至無處可葬；
33 Then the carcasses of this people will become food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and there will be no one to frighten them away.
33 이 백성의 시체가 공중의 새와 땅의 짐승의 밥이 될 것이나 그것을 쫓을 자가 없을 것이라
33. 並且這百姓的屍首必給空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸作食物，並無人鬨趕。
34 I will bring an end to the sounds of joy and gladness and to the voices of bride and bridegroom in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem, for the land will become desolate.
34 그 때에 내가 유다 성읍들과 예루살렘 거리에 기뻐하는 소리, 즐거워하는 소리, 신랑의 소리, 신부의 소리가 끊어지게 하리니 땅이 황폐하리라
34. 那時，我必使猶大城邑中和耶路撒冷街上，歡喜和快樂的聲音，新郎和新婦的聲音，都止息了，因爲地必成爲荒。
