1 Then Bildad the Shuhite replied:
1 수아 사람 빌닷이 대답하여 이르되
1. 書亞人比勒達回答說：
2 "Dominion and awe belong to God; he establishes order in the heights of heaven.
2 하나님은 주권과 위엄을 가지셨고 높은 곳에서 화평을 베푸시느니라
2. 神有治理之權，有威嚴可畏；他在高處施行和平。
3 Can his forces be numbered? Upon whom does his light not rise?
3 그의 군대를 어찌 계수할 수 있으랴 그가 비추는 광명을 받지 않은 자가 누구냐
3. 他的諸軍豈能數算？他的光亮一發，誰不蒙照呢？
4 How then can a man be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure?
4 그런즉 하나님 앞에서 사람이 어찌 의롭다 하며 여자에게서 난자가 어찌 깨끗하다 하랴
4. 這樣在神面前，人怎能稱義？婦人所生的怎能潔淨？
5 If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes,
5 보라 그의 눈에는 달이라도 빛을 발하지 못하고 별도 빛나지 못하거든
5. 在神眼前，月亮也無光亮，星宿也不淸潔。
6 how much less man, who is but a maggot--a son of man, who is only a worm!"
6 하물며 구더기 같은 사람, 벌레 같은 인생이랴
6. 何況如蟲的人，如蛆的世人呢！
