1 In the eighth month of the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Zechariah son of Berekiah, the son of Iddo:
1 다리오 왕 제이년 여덟째 달에 여호와의 말씀이 잇도의 손자 베레갸의 아들 선지자 스가랴에게 임하니라 이르시되
1. 大利烏王第二年八月，耶和華的話臨到易多的孫子、比利家的兒子先知撒迦利亞，說：
2 "The LORD was very angry with your forefathers.
2 나 여호와가 너희의 조상들에게 심히 진노하였느니라
2. 耶和華曾向你們列祖大大發怒。
3 Therefore tell the people: This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'Return to me,' declares the LORD Almighty, 'and I will return to you,' says the LORD Almighty.
3 그러므로 너는 무리에게 고하기를 만군의 여호와께서 이처럼 이르시되 너희는 내게로 돌아오라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라 그리하면 내가 너희에게로 돌아가리라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라
3. 所以你要對以色列人說，萬軍之耶和華如此說：你們要轉向我，我就轉向你們。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。
4 Do not be like your forefathers, to whom the earlier prophets proclaimed: This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'Turn from your evil ways and your evil practices.' But they would not listen or pay attention to me, declares the LORD.
4 너희 조상들을 본받지 말라 옛적 선지자들이 그들에게 외쳐 이르되 만군의 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시기를 너희가 악한 길, 악한 행위를 떠나서 돌아오라 하셨으나 그들이 듣지 아니하고 내게 귀를 기울이지 아니하였느니라 여호와의 말이니라
4. 不要效法你們列祖。從前的先知呼叫他們說，萬軍之耶和華如此說：你們要回頭離開你們的惡道惡行。他們卻不，也不順從我。這是耶和華說的。
5 Where are your forefathers now? And the prophets, do they live forever?
5 너희 조상들이 어디 있느냐 또 선지자들이 영원히 살겠느냐
5. 你們的列祖在那裏呢？那些先知能永遠存活麽？
6 But did not my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, overtake your forefathers? "Then they repented and said, 'The LORD Almighty has done to us what our ways and practices deserve, just as he determined to do.'"
6 내가 나의 종 선지자들에게 명령한 내 말과 내 법도들이 어찌 너희 조상들에게 임하지 아니하였느냐 그러므로 그들이 돌이켜 이르기를 만군의 여호와께서 우리 길대로, 우리 행위대로 우리에게 행하시려고 뜻하신 것을 우리에게 행하셨도다 하였느니라
6. 只是我的言語和律例，就是所吩咐我僕人衆先知的，豈不臨到你們列祖麽？他們就回頭，說：萬軍之耶和華定意我們的行動作爲向我們怎樣行，他已照樣行了。
7 On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, the month of Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Zechariah son of Berekiah, the son of Iddo.
7 다리오 왕 제이년 열한째 달 곧 스밧월 이십사일에 잇도의 손자 베레갸의 아들 선지자 스가랴에게 여호와의 말씀이 임하니라
7. 大利烏第二年十一月，就是細罷特月二十四日，耶和華的話臨到易多的孫子、比利家的兒子先知撒迦利亞，說：
8 During the night I had a vision--and there before me was a man riding a red horse! He was standing among the myrtle trees in a ravine. Behind him were red, brown and white horses.
8 내가 밤에 보니 사람이 붉은 말을 타고 골짜기 속 화석류나무 사이에 섰고 그 뒤에는 홍마와 자줏빛 말과 백마가 있기로
8. 我夜間觀看，見一人騎著紅馬，站在窪地番石榴樹中間。在他身後又有紅馬、黃馬，和白馬。
9 I asked, "What are these, my lord?" The angel who was talking with me answered, "I will show you what they are."
9 내가 말하되 내 주여 이들이 무엇이니이까 내게 말하는 천사가 내게 이르되 이들이 무엇인지 내가 네게 보이리라 하니
9. 我對與我說話的天使說：主阿，這是甚麽意思？他說：我要指示你這是甚麽意思。
10 Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained, "They are the ones the LORD has sent to go throughout the earth."
10 화석류나무 사이에 선 자가 대답하여 이르되 이는 여호와께서 땅에 두루 다니라고 보내신 자들이니라
10. 那站在番石榴樹中間的人說：這是奉耶和華差遣在遍地走來走去的。
11 And they reported to the angel of the LORD, who was standing among the myrtle trees, "We have gone throughout the earth and found the whole world at rest and in peace."
11 그들이 화석류나무 사이에 선 여호와의 천사에게 말하되 우리가 땅에 두루 다녀 보니 온 땅이 평안하고 조용하더이다 하더라
11. 那些騎馬的對站在番石榴樹中間耶和華的使者說：我們已在遍地走來走去，見全地都安息平靜。
12 Then the angel of the LORD said, "LORD Almighty, how long will you withhold mercy from Jerusalem and from the towns of Judah, which you have been angry with these seventy years?"
12 여호와의 천사가 대답하여 이르되 만군의 여호와여 여호와께서 언제까지 예루살렘과 유다 성읍들을 불쌍히 여기지 아니하시려하나이까 이를 노하신 지 칠십 년이 되었나이다 하매
12. 於是，耶和華的使者說：萬軍之耶和華阿，你惱恨耶路撒冷和猶大的城邑已經七十年，你不施憐憫要到幾時呢？
13 So the LORD spoke kind and comforting words to the angel who talked with me.
13 여호와께서 내게 말하는 천사에게 선한 말씀, 위로하는 말씀으로 대답하시더라
13. 耶和華就用美善的安慰話回答那與我說話的天使。
14 Then the angel who was speaking to me said, "Proclaim this word: This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'I am very jealous for Jerusalem and Zion,
14 내게 말하는 천사가 내게 이르되 너는 외쳐 이르기를 만군의 여호와의 말씀에 내가 예루살렘을 위하여 시온을 위하여 크게 질투하며
14. 與我說話的天使對我說：你要宣告說，萬軍之耶和華如此說：我爲耶路撒冷爲錫安，心裏極其火熱。
15 but I am very angry with the nations that feel secure. I was only a little angry, but they added to the calamity.'
15 안일한 여러 나라들 때문에 심히 진노하나니 나는 조금 노하였거늘 그들은 힘을 내어 고난을 더하였음이라
15. 我甚惱怒那安逸的列國，因我從前稍微惱怒我民，他們就加害過分。
16 "Therefore, this is what the LORD says: 'I will return to Jerusalem with mercy, and there my house will be rebuilt. And the measuring line will be stretched out over Jerusalem,' declares the LORD Almighty.
16 그러므로 여호와가 이처럼 말하노라 내가 불쌍히 여기므로 예루살렘에 돌아왔은즉 내 집이 그 가운데에 건축되리니 예루살렘 위에 먹줄이 쳐지리라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라
16. 所以耶和華如此說：現今我回到耶路撒冷，仍施憐憫，我的殿必重建在其中，準繩必拉在耶路撒冷之上。這是萬之耶和華說的。
17 "Proclaim further: This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'My towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem.'"
17 그가 다시 외쳐 이르기를 만군의 여호와의 말씀에 나의 성읍들이 넘치도록 다시 풍부할 것이라 여호와가 다시 시온을 위로하며 다시 예루살렘을 택하리라 하라 하니라
17. 你要再宣告說，萬軍之耶和華如此說：我的城邑必再豐盛發達。耶和華必再安慰錫安，揀選耶路撒冷。
18 Then I looked up--and there before me were four horns!
18 내가 눈을 들어 본즉 네 개의 뿔이 보이기로
18. 我擧目觀看，見有四角。
19 I asked the angel who was speaking to me, "What are these?" He answered me, "These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem."
19 이에 내게 말하는 천사에게 묻되 이들이 무엇이니이까 하니 내게 대답하되 이들은 유다와 이스라엘과 예루살렘을 흩뜨린 뿔이니라
19. 我就問與我說話的天使說：這是甚麽意思？他回答說：這是打散猶大、以色列，和耶路撒冷的角。
20 Then the LORD showed me four craftsmen.
20 그 때에 여호와께서 대장장이 네 명을 내게 보이시기로
20. 耶和華又指四個匠人給我看。
21 I asked, "What are these coming to do?" He answered, "These are the horns that scattered Judah so that no one could raise his head, but the craftsmen have come to terrify them and throw down these horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter its people."
21 내가 말하되 그들이 무엇하러 왔나이까 하니 대답하여 이르시되 그 뿔들이 유다를 흩뜨려서 사람들이 능히 머리를 들지 못하게 하니 이 대장장이들이 와서 그것들을 두렵게 하고 이전의 뿔들을 들어 유다 땅을 흩뜨린 여러 나라의 뿔들을 떨어뜨리려 하느니라 하시더라
21. 我說：他們來作甚麽呢？他說：這是打散猶大的角，使人不敢抬頭；但這些匠人來威嚇列國，打掉他們的角，就擧起打散猶大地的角。
