1 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."
1 예수께서 한 곳에서 기도하시고 마치시매 제자 중 하나가 여짜오되 주여 요한이 자기 제자들에게 기도를 가르친 것과 같이 우리에게도 가르쳐 주옵소서
1. 耶穌在一個地方禱告；禱告完了，有個門徒對他說：求主敎導我們禱告，像約翰敎導他的門徒。
2 He said to them, "When you pray, say: "'Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.
2 예수께서 이르시되 너희는 기도할 때에 이렇게 하라 아버지여 이름이 거룩히 여김을 받으시오며 나라가 임하옵시며
2. 耶穌說：你們禱告的時候，要說：我們在天上的父（有古卷只作：父阿）：願人都尊你的名爲聖。願你的國降臨願你的旨意行在地上，如同行在天上（有古卷無願你的意云云）。
3 Give us each day our daily bread.
3 우리에게 날마다 일용할 양식을 주시옵고
3. 我們日用的飮食，天天賜給我們。
4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.'"
4 우리가 우리에게 죄 지은 모든 사람을 용서하오니 우리 죄도 사하여 주시옵고 우리를 시험에 들게 하지 마옵소서 하라
4. 赦免我們的罪，因爲我們也赦免凡虧欠我們的人。不叫我們遇見試探；救我們脫離兇惡（有古卷無末句）。
5 Then he said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and he goes to him at midnight and says, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,
5 또 이르시되 너희 중에 누가 벗이 있는데 밤중에 그에게 가서 말하기를 벗이여 떡 세 덩이를 내게 꾸어달라
5. 耶穌又說：你們中間誰有一個朋友半夜到他那裏去，說：朋友！請借給我三個餅；
6 because a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.'
6 내 벗이 여행 중에 내게 왔으나 내가 먹일 것이 없노라 하면
6. 因爲我有一個朋友行路，來到我這裏，我沒有甚麽給他擺上。
7 "Then the one inside answers, 'Don't bother me. The door is already locked, and my children are with me in bed. I can't get up and give you anything.'
7 그가 안에서 대답하여 이르되 나를 괴롭게 하지 말라 문이 이미 닫혔고 아이들이 나와 함께 침실에 누웠으니 일어나 네게 줄 수가 없노라 하겠느냐
7. 那人在裏面回答說：不要攪擾我，門已經關閉，孩子們也同我在床上了，我不能起來給你。
8 I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man's boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs.
8 내가 너희에게 말하노니 비록 벗됨으로 인하여서는 일어나 주지 아니할지라도 그 간청함을 인하여 일어나 그 요구대로 주리라
8. 我告訴你們，雖不因他是朋友起來給他，但因他情詞迫切的直求，就必起來照他所需用的給他。
9 "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
9 내가 또 너희에게 이르노니 구하라 그러면 너희에게 주실 것이요 찾으라 그러면 찾아낼 것이요 문을 두드리라 그러면 너희에게 열릴 것이니
9. 我又告訴你們，你們祈求，就給你們；尋找，就尋見；叩門，就給你們開門。
10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
10 구하는 이마다 받을 것이요 찾는 이는 찾아낼 것이요 두드리는 이에게는 열릴 것이니라
10. 因爲，凡祈求的，就得著；尋找的，就尋見；叩門的，就給他開門。
11 "Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?
11 너희 중에 아버지된 자로서 누가 아들이 생선을 달라 하는데 생선 대신에 뱀을 주며
11. 你們中間作父親的，誰有兒子求餅，反給他石頭呢？求魚，反拿蛇當魚給他呢？
12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
12 알을 달라 하는데 전갈을 주겠느냐
12. 求雞蛋，反給他蠍子呢？
13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"
13 너희가 악할지라도 좋은 것을 자식에게 줄 줄 알거든 하물며 너희 하늘 아버지께서 구하는 자에게 성령을 주시지 않겠느냐 하시니라
13. 你們雖然不好，尙且知道拿好東西給兒女；何況天父，豈不更將聖靈給求他的人麽？
14 Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute. When the demon left, the man who had been mute spoke, and the crowd was amazed.
14 예수께서 한 말 못하는 귀신을 쫓아내시니 귀신이 나가매 말 못하는 사람이 말하는지라 무리들이 놀랍게 여겼으나
14. 耶穌趕出一個叫人啞吧的鬼，鬼出去了，啞吧就說出話來；衆人都希奇。
15 But some of them said, "By Beelzebub, the prince of demons, he is driving out demons."
15 그 중에 더러는 말하기를 그가 귀신의 왕 바알세불을 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아낸다 하고
15. 內中卻有人說：他是靠著鬼王別西卜趕鬼。
16 Others tested him by asking for a sign from heaven.
16 또 더러는 예수를 시험하여 하늘로부터 오는 표적을 구하니
16. 又有人試探耶穌，向他求從天上來的神蹟。
17 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: "Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall.
17 예수께서 그들의 생각을 아시고 이르시되 스스로 분쟁하는 나라마다 황폐하여지며 스스로 분쟁하는 집은 무너지느니라
17. 他曉得他們的意念，便對他們說：凡一國自相紛爭，就成爲荒場；凡一家自相紛爭，就必敗落。
18 If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? I say this because you claim that I drive out demons by Beelzebub.
18 너희 말이 내가 바알세불을 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아낸다 하니 만일 사탄이 스스로 분쟁하면 그의 나라가 어떻게 서겠느냐
18. 若撒但自相紛爭，他的國怎能站得住呢？因爲你們說我是靠著別西卜趕鬼。
19 Now if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your followers drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.
19 내가 바알세불을 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아내면 너희 아들들은 누구를 힘입어 쫓아내느냐 그러므로 그들이 너희 재판관이 되리라
19. 我若靠著別西卜趕鬼，你們的子弟趕鬼又靠著誰呢？這樣，他們就要斷定你們的是非。
20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you.
20 그러나 내가 만일 하나님의 손을 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아낸다면 하나님의 나라가 이미 너희에게 임하였느니라
20. 我若靠著神的能力趕鬼，這就是神的國臨到你們了。
21 "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe.
21 강한 자가 무장을 하고 자기 집을 지킬 때에는 그 소유가 안전하되
21. 壯士披掛整齊，看守自己的住宅，他所有的都平安無事；
22 But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up the spoils.
22 더 강한 자가 와서 그를 굴복시킬 때에는 그가 믿던 무장을 빼앗고 그의 재물을 나누느니라
22. 但有一個比他更壯的來，勝過他，就奪去他所倚靠的盔甲兵器，又分了他的贓。
23 "He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me, scatters.
23 나와 함께 아니하는 자는 나를 반대하는 자요 나와 함께 모으지 아니하는 자는 헤치는 자니라
23. 不與我相合的，就是敵我的；不同我收聚的，就是分散的。
24 "When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.'
24 더러운 귀신이 사람에게서 나갔을 때에 물 없는 곳으로 다니며 쉬기를 구하되 얻지 못하고 이에 이르되 내가 나온 내 집으로 돌아가리라 하고
24. 汚鬼離了人身，就在無水之地過來過去，尋求安歇之處；旣尋不著，便說：我要回到我所出來的屋裏去。
25 When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order.
25 가서 보니 그 집이 청소되고 수리되었거늘
25. 到了，就看見裏面打掃乾淨，修飾好了，
26 Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first."
26 이에 가서 저보다 더 악한 귀신 일곱을 데리고 들어가서 거하니 그 사람의 나중 형편이 전보다 더 심하게 되느니라
26. 便去另帶了七個比自己更惡的鬼來，都進去住在那裏。那人末後的景況比先前更不好了。
27 As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, "Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you."
27 이 말씀을 하실 때에 무리 중에서 한 여자가 음성을 높여 이르되 당신을 밴 태와 당신을 먹인 젖이 복이 있나이다 하니
27. 耶穌正說這話的時候，衆人中間有一個女人大聲說：懷你胎的和乳養你的有福了！
28 He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."
28 예수께서 이르시되 오히려 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 지키는 자가 복이 있느니라 하시니라
28. 耶穌說：是，卻還不如聽神之道而遵守的人有福。
29 As the crowds increased, Jesus said, "This is a wicked generation. It asks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.
29 무리가 모였을 때에 예수께서 말씀하시되 이 세대는 악한 세대라 표적을 구하되 요나의 표적밖에는 보일 표적이 없나니
29. 當衆人聚集的時候，耶穌開講說：這世代是一個邪惡的世代。他們求看神蹟，除了約拿的神蹟以外，再沒有神蹟他們看。
30 For as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so also will the Son of Man be to this generation.
30 요나가 니느웨 사람들에게 표적이 됨과 같이 인자도 이 세대에 그러하리라
30. 約拿怎樣爲尼尼微人成了神蹟，人子也要照樣爲這世代的人成了神蹟。
31 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's wisdom, and now one greater than Solomon is here.
31 심판 때에 남방 여왕이 일어나 이 세대 사람을 정죄하리니 이는 그가 솔로몬의 지혜로운 말을 들으려고 땅 끝에서 왔음이거니와 솔로몬보다 더 큰 이가 여기 있으며
31. 當審判的時候，南方的女王要起來定這世代的罪；因爲他從地極而來，要聽所羅門的智慧話。看哪！在這裏有一比所羅門更大。
32 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah is here.
32 심판 때에 니느웨 사람들이 일어나 이 세대 사람을 정죄하리니 이는 그들이 요나의 전도를 듣고 회개하였음이거니와 요나보다 더 큰 이가 여기 있느니라
32. 當審判的時候，尼尼微人要起來定這世代的罪，因爲尼尼微人聽了約拿所傳的就悔改了。看哪！在這裏有一人比拿更大。
33 "No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead he puts it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light.
33 누구든지 등불을 켜서 움 속에나 말 아래에 두지 아니하고 등경 위에 두나니 이는 들어가는 자로 그 빛을 보게 하려 함이라
33. 沒有人點燈放在地窨子裏，或是斗底下，總是放在燈臺上，使進來的人得見亮光。
34 Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad, your body also is full of darkness.
34 네 몸의 등불은 눈이라 네 눈이 성하면 온 몸이 밝을 것이요 만일 나쁘면 네 몸도 어두우리라
34. 你眼睛就是身上的燈。你的眼睛若瞭亮，全身就光明；眼睛若昏花，全身就黑暗。
35 See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness.
35 그러므로 네 속에 있는 빛이 어둡지 아니한가 보라
35. 所以，你要省察，恐怕你裏頭的光或者黑暗了。
36 Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be completely lighted, as when the light of a lamp shines on you."
36 네 온 몸이 밝아 조금도 어두운 데가 없으면 등불의 빛이 너를 비출 때와 같이 온전히 밝으리라 하시니라
36. 若是你全身光明，毫無黑暗，就必全然光明，如同燈的明光照亮你。
37 When Jesus had finished speaking, a Pharisee invited him to eat with him; so he went in and reclined at the table.
37 예수께서 말씀하실 때에 한 바리새인이 자기와 함께 점심 잡수시기를 청하므로 들어가 앉으셨더니
37. 說話的時候，有一個法利賽人請耶穌同他喫飯，耶穌就進去坐席。
38 But the Pharisee, noticing that Jesus did not first wash before the meal, was surprised.
38 잡수시기 전에 손 씻지 아니하심을 이 바리새인이 보고 이상히 여기는지라
38. 這法利賽人看見耶穌飯前不洗手便詫異。
9 Then the Lord said to him, "Now then, you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.
39 주께서 이르시되 너희 바리새인은 지금 잔과 대접의 겉은 깨끗이 하나 너희 속에는 탐욕과 악독이 가득하도다
39. 主對他說：如今你們法利賽人洗淨杯盤的外面，你們裏面卻滿了勒索和邪惡。
40 You foolish people! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also?
40 어리석은 자들아 밖을 만드신 이가 속도 만들지 아니하셨느냐
40. 無知的人哪，造外面的，不也造裏面麽？
41 But give what is inside the dish to the poor, and everything will be clean for you.
41 그러나 그 안에 있는 것으로 구제하라 그리하면 모든 것이 너희에게 깨끗하리라
41. 只要把裏面的施捨給人，凡物於你們就都潔淨了。
42 "Woe to you Pharisees, because you give God a tenth of your mint, rue and all other kinds of garden herbs, but you neglect justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without leaving the former undone.
42 화 있을진저 너희 바리새인이여 너희가 박하와 운향과 모든 채소의 십일조는 드리되 공의와 하나님께 대한 사랑은 버리는도다 그러나 이것도 행하고 저것도 버리지 말아야 할지니라
42. 你們法利賽人有禍了！因爲你們將薄荷、芸香並各樣菜蔬獻上十分之一，那公義和愛神的事反倒不行了。這原是們當行的；那也是不可不行的。
43 "Woe to you Pharisees, because you love the most important seats in the synagogues and greetings in the marketplaces.
43 화 있을진저 너희 바리새인이여 너희가 회당의 높은 자리와 시장에서 문안 받는 것을 기뻐하는도다
43. 你們法利賽人有禍了！因爲你們喜愛會堂裏的首位，又喜愛人在街市上問你們的安。
44 "Woe to you, because you are like unmarked graves, which men walk over without knowing it."
44 화 있을진저 너희여 너희는 평토장한 무덤 같아서 그 위를 밟는 사람이 알지 못하느니라
44. 你們有禍了！因爲你們如同不顯露的墳墓，走在上面的人並不知道。
45 One of the experts in the law answered him, "Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us also."
45 한 율법교사가 예수께 대답하여 이르되 선생님 이렇게 말씀하시니 우리까지 모욕하심이니이다
45. 律法師中有一個回答耶穌說：夫子！你這樣說也把我們糟蹋了。
46 Jesus replied, "And you experts in the law, woe to you, because you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them.
46 이르시되 화 있을진저 또 너희 율법교사여 지기 어려운 짐을 사람에게 지우고 너희는 한 손가락도 이 짐에 대지 않는도다
46. 耶穌說：你們律法師也有禍了！因爲你們把難擔的擔子放在人身上，自己一個指頭卻不肯動。
47 "Woe to you, because you build tombs for the prophets, and it was your forefathers who killed them.
47 화 있을진저 너희는 선지자들의 무덤을 만드는도다 그들을 죽인 자도 너희 조상들이로다
47. 你們有禍了！因爲你們修造先知的墳墓，那先知正是你們的祖宗所殺的。
48 So you testify that you approve of what your forefathers did; they killed the prophets, and you build their tombs.
48 이와 같이 그들은 죽이고 너희는 무덤을 만드니 너희가 너희 조상의 행한 일에 증인이 되어 옳게 여기는도다
48. 可見你們祖宗所作的事，你們又證明又喜歡；因爲他們殺了先知，你們修造先知的墳墓。
49 Because of this, God in his wisdom said, 'I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill and others they will persecute.'
49 이러므로 하나님의 지혜가 일렀으되 내가 선지자와 사도들을 그들에게 보내리니 그 중에서 더러는 죽이며 또 박해하리라 하였느니라
49. 所以，神用智慧（用智慧：或作的智者）曾說：我要差遣先知和使徒到他們那裏去，有的他們要殺害，有的他們逼迫，
50 Therefore this generation will be held responsible for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning of the world,
50 창세 이후로 흘린 모든 선지자의 피를 이 세대가 담당하되
50. 使創世以來所流衆先知血的罪都要問在這世代的人身上，
51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, this generation will be held responsible for it all.
51 곧 아벨의 피로부터 제단과 성전 사이에서 죽임을 당한 사가랴의 피까지 하리라 내가 너희에게 이르노니 과연 이 세대가 담당하리라
51. 就是從亞伯的血起，直到被殺在壇和殿中間撒迦利亞的血爲止。我實在告訴你們，這都要問在這世代的人身上。
52 "Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering."
52 화 있을진저 너희 율법교사여 너희가 지식의 열쇠를 가져가서 너희도 들어가지 않고 또 들어가고자 하는 자도 막았느니라 하시니라
52. 你們律法師有禍了！因爲你們把知識的鑰匙奪了去，自己不進去，正要進去的人你們也阻擋他們。
53 When Jesus left there, the Pharisees and the teachers of the law began to oppose him fiercely and to besiege him with questions,
53 거기서 나오실 때에 서기관과 바리새인들이 거세게 달려들어 여러 가지 일을 따져 묻고
53. 耶穌從那裏出來，文士和法利賽人就極力的催逼他，引動他多說話，
54 waiting to catch him in something he might say.
54 그 입에서 나오는 말을 책잡고자 하여 노리고 있더라
54. 私下窺聽，要拿他的話柄。
