1 Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: "Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
1 그 동안에 무리 수만 명이 모여 서로 밟힐 만큼 되었더니 예수께서 먼저 제자들에게 말씀하여 이르시되 바리새인들의 누룩 곧 외식을 주의하라
1. 這時，有幾萬人聚集，甚至彼此踐踏。耶穌開講，先對門徒說：你們要防備法利賽人的酵，就是假冒爲善。
2 There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.
2 감추인 것이 드러나지 않을 것이 없고 숨긴 것이 알려지지 않을 것이 없나니
2. 掩蓋的事沒有不露出來的；隱藏的事，沒有不被人知道的。
3 What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.
3 이러므로 너희가 어두운 데서 말한 모든 것이 광명한 데서 들리고 너희가 골방에서 귀에 대고 말한 것이 지붕 위에서 전파되리라
3. 因此，你們在暗中所說的，將要在明處被人聽見；在內室附耳所說的，將要在房上被人宣揚。
4 "I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more.
4 내가 내 친구 너희에게 말하노니 몸을 죽이고 그 후에는 능히 더 못하는 자들을 두려워하지 말라
4. 我的朋友，我對你們說，那殺身體以後不能再作甚麽的，不要怕他們。
5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.
5 마땅히 두려워할 자를 내가 너희에게 보이리니 곧 죽인 후에 또한 지옥에 던져 넣는 권세 있는 그를 두려워하라 내가 참으로 너희에게 이르노니 그를 두려워하라
5. 我要指示你們當怕的是誰：當怕那殺了以後又有權柄丢在地獄裏的。我實在告訴你們，正要怕他。
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.
6 참새 다섯 마리가 두 앗사리온에 팔리는 것이 아니냐 그러나 하나님 앞에는 그 하나도 잊어버리시는 바 되지 아니하는도다
6. 五個麻雀不是賣二分銀子麽？但在神面前，一個也不忘記；
7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
7 너희에게는 심지어 머리털까지도 다 세신 바 되었나니 두려워하지 말라 너희는 많은 참새보다 더 귀하니라
7. 就是你們的頭髮，也都被數過了。不要懼怕，你們比許多麻雀還貴重！
8 "I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God.
8 내가 또한 너희에게 말하노니 누구든지 사람 앞에서 나를 시인하면 인자도 하나님의 사자들 앞에서 그를 시인할 것이요
8. 我又告訴你們，凡在人面前認我的，人子在神的使者面前也必認他；
9 But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God.
9 사람 앞에서 나를 부인하는 자는 하나님의 사자들 앞에서 부인을 당하리라
9. 在人面前不認我的，人子在神的使者面前也必不認他。
10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
10 누구든지 말로 인자를 거역하면 사하심을 받으려니와 성령을 모독하는 자는 사하심을 받지 못하리라
10. 凡說話干犯人子的，還可得赦免；惟獨褻瀆聖靈的，總不得赦免。
11 "When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say,
11 사람이 너희를 회당이나 위정자나 권세 있는 자 앞에 끌고 가거든 어떻게 무엇으로 대답하며 무엇으로 말할까 염려하지 말라
11. 人帶你們到會堂，並官府和有權柄的人面前，不要思慮怎麽分訴，說甚麽話；
12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say."
12 마땅히 할 말을 성령이 곧 그 때에 너희에게 가르치시리라 하시니라
12. 因爲正在那時候，聖靈要指敎你們當說的話。
13 Someone in the crowd said to him, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me."
13 무리 중에 한 사람이 이르되 선생님 내 형을 명하여 유산을 나와 나누게 하소서 하니
13. 衆人中有一個人對耶穌說：夫子！請你吩咐我的兄長和我分開家業。
14 Jesus replied, "Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?"
14 이르시되 이 사람아 누가 나를 너희의 재판장이나 물건 나누는 자로 세웠느냐 하시고
14. 耶穌說：你這個人！誰立我作你們斷事的官，給你們分家業呢？
15 Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."
15 그들에게 이르시되 삼가 모든 탐심을 물리치라 사람의 생명이 그 소유의 넉넉한 데 있지 아니하니라 하시고
15. 於是對衆人說：你們要謹愼自守，免去一切的貪心，因爲人的生命不在乎家道豐富。
16 And he told them this parable: "The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop.
16 또 비유로 그들에게 말하여 이르시되 한 부자가 그 밭에 소출이 풍성하매
16. 就用比喩對他們說：有一個財主田産豐盛；
17 He thought to himself, 'What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.'
17 심중에 생각하여 이르되 내가 곡식 쌓아 둘 곳이 없으니 어찌할까 하고
17. 自己心裏思想說：我的出産沒有地方收藏，怎麽辦呢？
18 "Then he said, 'This is what I'll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.
18 또 이르되 내가 이렇게 하리라 내 곳간을 헐고 더 크게 짓고 내 모든 곡식과 물건을 거기 쌓아 두리라
18. 又說：我要這麽辦：要把我的倉房拆了，另蓋更大的，在那裏好收藏我一切的糧食和財物，
19 And I'll say to myself, "You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry." '
19 또 내가 내 영혼에게 이르되 영혼아 여러 해 쓸 물건을 많이 쌓아 두었으니 평안히 쉬고 먹고 마시고 즐거워하자 하리라 하되
19. 然後要對我的靈魂說：靈魂哪，你有許多財物積存，可作多年的費用，只管安安逸逸的喫喝快樂罷！
20 "But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?'
20 하나님은 이르시되 어리석은 자여 오늘 밤에 네 영혼을 도로 찾으리니 그러면 네 준비한 것이 누구의 것이 되겠느냐 하셨으니
20. 神卻對他說：無知的人哪，今夜必要你的靈魂；你所豫備的要歸誰呢？
21 "This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God."
21 자기를 위하여 재물을 쌓아 두고 하나님께 대하여 부요하지 못한 자가 이와 같으니라
21. 凡爲自己積財，在神面前卻不富足的，也是這樣。
22 Then Jesus said to his disciples: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.
22 또 제자들에게 이르시되 그러므로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희 목숨을 위하여 무엇을 먹을까 몸을 위하여 무엇을 입을까 염려하지 말라
22. 耶穌又對門徒說：所以我告訴你們，不要爲生命憂慮喫甚麽，爲身體憂慮穿甚麽；
23 Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.
23 목숨이 음식보다 중하고 몸이 의복보다 중하니라
23. 因爲生命勝於飮食，身體勝於衣裳。
24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!
24 까마귀를 생각하라 심지도 아니하고 거두지도 아니하며 골방도 없고 창고도 없으되 하나님이 기르시나니 너희는 새보다 얼마나 더 귀하냐
24. 你想烏鴉，也不種也不收，又沒有倉又沒有庫，神尙且養活他。你們比飛鳥是何等的貴重呢！
25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
25 또 너희 중에 누가 염려함으로 그 키를 한 자라도 더할 수 있느냐
25. 你們那一個能用思慮使壽數多加一刻呢（或作：使身量多加一肘呢）？
26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
26 그런즉 가장 작은 일도 하지 못하면서 어찌 다른 일들을 염려하느냐
26. 這最小的事，你們尙且不能作，爲甚麽還憂慮其餘的事呢？
27 "Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
27 백합화를 생각하여 보아라 실도 만들지 않고 짜지도 아니하느니라 그러나 내가 너희에게 말하노니 솔로몬의 모든 영광으로도 입은 것이 이 꽃 하나만큼 훌륭하지 못하였느니라
27. 你想百合花怎麽長起來；他也不勞苦，也不紡線。然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門極榮華的時候，他所穿戴的，還如這花一朵呢！
28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!
28 오늘 있다가 내일 아궁이에 던져지는 들풀도 하나님이 이렇게 입히시거든 하물며 너희일까보냐 믿음이 작은 자들아
28. 你們這小信的人哪，野地裏的草今天還在，明天就丢在爐裏，神還給他這樣的妝飾，何況你們呢！
29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it.
29 너희는 무엇을 먹을까 무엇을 마실까 하여 구하지 말며 근심하지도 말라
29. 你們不要求喫甚麽，喝甚麽，也不要罣心；
30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them.
30 이 모든 것은 세상 백성들이 구하는 것이라 너희 아버지께서는 이런 것이 너희에게 있어야 할 것을 아시느니라
30. 這都是外邦人所求的。你們必須用這些東西，你們的父是知道的。
31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
31 다만 너희는 그의 나라를 구하라 그리하면 이런 것들을 너희에게 더하시리라
31. 你們只要求他的國，這些東西就必加給你們了。
32 "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.
32 적은 무리여 무서워 말라 너희 아버지께서 그 나라를 너희에게 주시기를 기뻐하시느니라
32. 你們這小群，不要懼怕，因爲你們的父樂意把國賜給你們。
33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.
33 너희 소유를 팔아 구제하여 낡아지지 아니하는 배낭을 만들라 곧 하늘에 둔 바 다함이 없는 보물이니 거기는 도둑도 가까이 하는 일이 없고 좀도 먹는 일이 없느니라
33. 你們要變賣所有的賙濟人，爲自己豫備永不壞的錢囊，用不盡的財寶在天上，就是賊不能近、蟲不能蛀的地方。
34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
34 너희 보물 있는 곳에는 너희 마음도 있으리라
34. 因爲，你們的財寶在那裏，你們的心也在那裏。
35 "Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning,
35 허리에 띠를 띠고 등불을 켜고 서 있으라
35. 你們腰裏要束上帶，燈也要點著，
36 like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him.
36 너희는 마치 그 주인이 혼인 집에서 돌아와 문을 두드리면 곧 열어 주려고 기다리는 사람과 같이 되라
36. 自己好像僕人等候主人從婚姻的筵席上回來。他來到，叩門，就立刻給他開門。
37 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. I tell you the truth, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them.
37 주인이 와서 깨어 있는 것을 보면 그 종들은 복이 있으리로다 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 주인이 띠를 띠고 그 종들을 자리에 앉히고 나아와 수종들리라
37. 主人來了，看見僕人儆醒，那僕人就有福了。我實在告訴你們，主人必叫他們坐席，自己束上帶，進前伺候他們。
38 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the second or third watch of the night.
38 주인이 혹 이경에나 혹 삼경에 이르러서도 종들이 그같이 하고 있는 것을 보면 그 종들은 복이 있으리로다
38. 或是二更天來，或是三更天來，看見僕人這樣，那僕人就有福了。
39 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.
39 너희도 아는 바니 집 주인이 만일 도둑이 어느 때에 이를 줄 알았더라면 그 집을 뚫지 못하게 하였으리라
39. 家主若知道賊甚麽時候來，就必儆醒，不容賊挖透房屋，這是你們所知道的。
40 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."
40 그러므로 너희도 준비하고 있으라 생각하지 않은 때에 인자가 오리라 하시니라
40. 你們也要豫備；因爲你們想不到的時候，人子就來了。
41 Peter asked, "Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everyone?"
41 베드로가 여짜오되 주께서 이 비유를 우리에게 하심이니이까 모든 사람에게 하심이니이까
41. 彼得說：主阿，這比喩是爲我們說的呢？還是爲衆人呢？
42 The Lord answered, "Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time?
42 주께서 이르시되 지혜 있고 진실한 청지기가 되어 주인에게 그 집 종들을 맡아 때를 따라 양식을 나누어 줄 자가 누구냐
42. 主說：誰是那忠心有見識的管家，主人派他管理家裏的人，按時分糧給他們呢？
43 It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns.
43 주인이 이를 때에 그 종이 그렇게 하는 것을 보면 그 종은 복이 있으리로다
43. 主人來到，看見僕人這樣行，那僕人就有福了。
44 I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
44 내가 참으로 너희에게 이르노니 주인이 그 모든 소유를 그에게 맡기리라
44. 我實在告訴你們，主人要派他管理一切所有的。
45 But suppose the servant says to himself, 'My master is taking a long time in coming,' and he then begins to beat the menservants and maidservants and to eat and drink and get drunk.
45 만일 그 종이 마음에 생각하기를 주인이 더디 오리라 하여 남녀 종들을 때리며 먹고 마시고 취하게 되면
45. 那僕人若心裏說：我的主人必來得遲，就動手打僕人和使女，並且喫喝醉酒；
46 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.
46 생각하지 않은 날 알지 못하는 시간에 그 종의 주인이 이르러 엄히 때리고 신실하지 아니한 자의 받는 벌에 처하리니
46. 在他想不到的日子，不知道的時辰，那僕人的主人要來，重重的處治他（或作：把他腰軋了），定他和不忠心的同罪。
47 "That servant who knows his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows.
47 주인의 뜻을 알고도 준비하지 아니하고 그 뜻대로 행하지 아니한 종은 많이 맞을 것이요
47. 僕人知道主人的意思，卻不豫備，又不順他的意思行，那僕人必多受責打；
48 But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
48 알지 못하고 맞을 일을 행한 종은 적게 맞으리라 무릇 많이 받은 자에게는 많이 요구할 것이요 많이 맡은 자에게는 많이 달라 할 것이니라
48. 惟有那不知道的，作了當受責打的事，必少受責打；因爲多給誰，就向誰多取；多託誰，就向誰多要。
49 "I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!
49 내가 불을 땅에 던지러 왔노니 이 불이 이미 붙었으면 내가 무엇을 원하리요
49. 我來要把火丢在地上，倘若已經著起來，不也是我所願意的麽？
50 But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed!
50 나는 받을 세례가 있으니 그것이 이루어지기까지 나의 답답함이 어떠하겠느냐
50. 我有當受的洗還沒有成就，我是何等的迫切呢？
51 Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division.
51 내가 세상에 화평을 주려고 온 줄로 아느냐 내가 너희에게 이르노니 아니라 도리어 분쟁하게 하려 함이로라
51. 你們以爲我來，是叫地上太平麽？我告訴你們，不是，乃是叫人分爭。
52 From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three.
52 이후부터 한 집에 다섯 사람이 있어 분쟁하되 셋이 둘과, 둘이 셋과 하리니
52. 從今以後，一家五個人將要分爭：三個人和兩個人相爭，兩個人和三個人相爭；
53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law."
53 아버지가 아들과, 아들이 아버지와, 어머니가 딸과, 딸이 어머니와, 시어머니가 며느리와, 며느리가 시어머니와 분쟁하리라 하시니라
53. 父親和兒子相爭，兒子和父親相爭；母親和女兒相爭，女兒和母親相爭；婆婆和媳婦相爭，媳婦和婆婆相爭。
54 He said to the crowd: "When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, 'It's going to rain,' and it does.
54 또 무리에게 이르시되 너희가 구름이 서쪽에서 이는 것을 보면 곧 말하기를 소나기가 오리라 하나니 과연 그러하고
54. 耶穌又對衆人說：你們看見西邊起了雲彩，就說：要下一陣雨；果然就有。
55 And when the south wind blows, you say, 'It's going to be hot,' and it is.
55 남풍이 부는 것을 보면 말하기를 심히 더우리라 하나니 과연 그러하니라
55. 起了南風，就說：將要燥熱；也就有了。
56 Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don't know how to interpret this present time?
56 외식하는 자여 너희가 천지의 기상은 분간할 줄을 알면서 어찌 이 시대는 분간하지 못하느냐
56. 假冒爲善的人哪，你們知道分辨天地的氣色，怎麽不知道分辨這時候呢？
57 "Why don't you judge for yourselves what is right?
57 또 어찌하여 옳은 것을 스스로 판단하지 아니하느냐
57. 你們又爲何不自己審量甚麽是合理的呢？
58 As you are going with your adversary to the magistrate, try hard to be reconciled to him on the way, or he may drag you off to the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.
58 네가 너를 고발하는 자와 함께 법관에게 갈 때에 길에서 화해하기를 힘쓰라 그가 너를 재판장에게 끌어 가고 재판장이 너를 옥졸에게 넘겨 주어 옥졸이 옥에 가둘까 염려하라
58. 你同告你的對頭去見官，還在路上，務要盡力的和他了結；恐怕他拉你到官面前，官交付差役，差役把你下在監。
59 I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny."
59 네게 이르노니 한 푼이라도 남김이 없이 갚지 아니하고서는 결코 거기서 나오지 못하리라 하시니라
59. 我告訴你，若有半文錢沒有還淸，你斷不能從那裏出來。
