1 After Ahab's death, Moab rebelled against Israel.
1 아합이 죽은 후에 모압이 이스라엘을 배반하였더라
1. 亞哈死後，摩押背叛以色列。
2 Now Ahaziah had fallen through the lattice of his upper room in Samaria and injured himself. So he sent messengers, saying to them, "Go and consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron, to see if I will recover from this injury."
2 아하시야가 사마리아에 있는 그의 다락 난간에서 떨어져 병들매 사자를 보내며 그들에게 이르되 가서 에그론의 신 바알세붑에게 이 병이 낫겠나 물어 보라 하니라
2. 亞哈謝在撒瑪利亞，一日從樓上的欄杆裏掉下來，就病了；於是差遣使者說：你們去問以革倫的神巴力西卜，我病能好不能好。
3 But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, "Go up and meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them, 'Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going off to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron?'
3 여호와의 사자가 디셉 사람 엘리야에게 이르되 너는 일어나 올라가서 사마리아 왕의 사자를 만나 그에게 이르기를 이스라엘에 하나님이 없어서 너희가 에그론의 신 바알세붑에게 물으러 가느냐
3. 但耶和華的使者對提斯比人以利亞說：你起來，去迎著撒瑪利亞王的使者，對他們說：你們去問以革倫神巴力西，豈因以色列中沒有神麽？
4 Therefore this is what the LORD says: 'You will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!'" So Elijah went.
4 그러므로 여호와의 말씀이 네가 올라간 침상에서 내려오지 못할지라 네가 반드시 죽으리라 하셨다 하라 엘리야가 이에 가니라
4. 所以耶和華如此說：你必不下你所上的床，必定要死！以利亞就去了。
5 When the messengers returned to the king, he asked them, "Why have you come back?"
5 사자들이 왕에게 돌아오니 왕이 그들에게 이르되 너희는 어찌하여 돌아왔느냐 하니
5. 使者回來見王，王問他們說：你們爲甚麽回來呢？
6 "A man came to meet us," they replied. "And he said to us, 'Go back to the king who sent you and tell him, "This is what the LORD says: Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending men to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!" '"
6 그들이 말하되 한 사람이 올라와서 우리를 만나 이르되 너희는 너희를 보낸 왕에게로 돌아가서 그에게 고하기를 여호와의 말씀이 이스라엘에 하나님이 없어서 네가 에그론의 신 바알세붑에게 물으려고 보내느냐 그러므로 네가 올라간 침상에서 내려오지 못할지라 네가 반드시 죽으리라 하셨다 하라 하더이다
6. 使者回答說：有一個人迎著我們來，對我們說：你們回去見差你們來的王，對他說：耶和華如此說，你差人去問革倫神巴力西卜，豈因以色列中沒有神麽？所以你必不所上的床，必定要死。
7 The king asked them, "What kind of man was it who came to meet you and told you this?"
7 왕이 그들에게 이르되 올라와서 너희를 만나 이 말을 너희에게 한 그 사람은 어떤 사람이더냐
7. 王問他們說：迎著你們來告訴你們這話的，是怎樣的人？
8 They replied, "He was a man with a garment of hair and with a leather belt around his waist." The king said, "That was Elijah the Tishbite."
8 그들이 그에게 대답하되 그는 털이 많은 사람인데 허리에 가죽 띠를 띠었더이다 하니 왕이 이르되 그는 디셉 사람 엘리야로다
8. 回答說：他身穿毛衣，腰束皮帶。王說：這必是提斯比人以利亞。
9 Then he sent to Elijah a captain with his company of fifty men. The captain went up to Elijah, who was sitting on the top of a hill, and said to him, "Man of God, the king says, 'Come down!'"
9 이에 오십부장과 그의 군사 오십 명을 엘리야에게로 보내매 그가 엘리야에게로 올라가 본즉 산꼭대기에 앉아 있는지라 그가 엘리야에게 이르되 하나님의 사람이여 왕의 말씀이 내려오라 하셨나이다
9. 於是，王差遣五十夫長，帶領五十人去見以利亞，他就上到以利亞那裏；以利亞正坐在山頂上。五十夫長對他說神人那，王吩咐你下來！
10 Elijah answered the captain, "If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!" Then fire fell from heaven and consumed the captain and his men.
10 엘리야가 오십부장에게 대답하여 이르되 내가 만일 하나님의 사람이면 불이 하늘에서 내려와 너와 너의 오십 명을 사를지로다 하매 불이 곧 하늘에서 내려와 그와 그의 군사 오십 명을 살랐더라
10. 以利亞回答說：我若是神人，願火從天上降下來，燒滅你和你那五十人！於是有火從天上降下來，燒滅五十夫長他那五十人。
11 At this the king sent to Elijah another captain with his fifty men. The captain said to him, "Man of God, this is what the king says, 'Come down at once!'"
11 왕이 다시 다른 오십부장과 그의 군사 오십 명을 엘리야에게로 보내니 그가 엘리야에게 말하여 이르되 하나님의 사람이여 왕의 말씀이 속히 내려오라 하셨나이다 하니
11. 王第二次差遣一個五十夫長，帶領五十人去見以利亞。五十夫長對以利亞說：神人那，王吩咐你快快下來！
12 "If I am a man of God," Elijah replied, "may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!" Then the fire of God fell from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men.
12 엘리야가 그들에게 대답하여 이르되 내가 만일 하나님의 사람이면 불이 하늘에서 내려와 너와 너의 오십 명을 사를지로다 하매 하나님의 불이 곧 하늘에서 내려와 그와 그의 군사 오십 명을 살랐더라
12. 以利亞回答說：我若是神人，願火從天上降下來，燒滅你和你那五十人！於是神的火從天上降下來，燒滅五十夫和他那五十人。
13 So the king sent a third captain with his fifty men. This third captain went up and fell on his knees before Elijah. "Man of God," he begged, "please have respect for my life and the lives of these fifty men, your servants!
13 왕이 세 번째 오십부장과 그의 군사 오십 명을 보낸지라 셋째 오십부장이 올라가서 엘리야 앞에 이르러 그의 무릎을 끓어 엎드려 간구하여 이르되 하나님의 사람이여 원하건대 나의 생명과 당신의 종인 이 오십 명의 생명을 당신은 귀히 보소서
13. 王第三次差遣一個五十夫長，帶領五十人去。這五十夫長上去，雙膝跪在以利亞面前，哀求他說：神人那，願我性命和你這五十個僕人的性命在你眼前看爲寶貴！
14 See, fire has fallen from heaven and consumed the first two captains and all their men. But now have respect for my life!"
14 불이 하늘에서 내려와 전번의 오십부장 둘과 그의 군사 오십 명을 살랐거니와 나의 생명을 당신은 귀히 보소서 하매
14. 已經有火從天上降下來，燒滅前兩次來的五十夫長和他們各自帶的五十人；現在願我的性命在你眼前看爲寶貴！
15 The angel of the LORD said to Elijah, "Go down with him; do not be afraid of him." So Elijah got up and went down with him to the king.
15 여호와의 사자가 엘리야에게 이르되 너는 그를 두려워하지 말고 함께 내려가라 하신지라 엘리야가 곧 일어나 그와 함께 내려와 왕에게 이르러
15. 耶和華的使者對以利亞說：你同著他下去，不要怕他！以利亞就起來，同著他下去見王，
16 He told the king, "This is what the LORD says: Is it because there is no God in Israel for you to consult that you have sent messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Because you have done this, you will never leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!"
16 말하되 여호와의 말씀이 네가 사자를 보내 에그론의 신 바알세붑에게 물으려 하니 이스라엘에 그의 말을 물을 만한 하나님이 안 계심이냐 그러므로 네가 그 올라간 침상에서 내려오지 못할지라 네가 반드시 죽으리라 하셨다 하니라
16. 對王說：耶和華如此說：你差人去問以革倫神巴力西卜，豈因以色列中沒有神可以求問麽？所以你必不下所上的，必定要死！
17 So he died, according to the word of the LORD that Elijah had spoken. Because Ahaziah had no son, Joram succeeded him as king in the second year of Jehoram son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah.
17 왕이 엘리야가 전한 여호와의 말씀대로 죽고 그가 아들이 없으므로 여호람이 그를 대신하여 왕이 되니 유다 왕 여호사밧의 아들 여호람의 둘째 해였더라
17. 亞哈謝果然死了，正如耶和華藉以利亞所說的話。因他沒有兒子，他兄弟約蘭接續他作王，正在猶大王約沙法的子約蘭第二年。
18 As for all the other events of Ahaziah's reign, and what he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?
18 아하시야가 행한 그 남은 사적은 모두 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
18. 亞哈謝其餘所行的事都寫在以色列諸王記上。
