1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
1 그러므로 너희가 그리스도와 함께 다시 살리심을 받았으면 위의 것을 찾으라 거기는 그리스도께서 하나님 우편에 앉아 계시느니라
1. 所以，你們若眞與基督一同復活，就當求在上面的事；那裏有基督坐在神的右邊。
2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
2 위의 것을 생각하고 땅의 것을 생각하지 말라
2. 你們要思念上面的事，不要思念地上的事。
3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
3 이는 너희가 죽었고 너희 생명이 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에 감추어졌음이라
3. 因爲你們已經死了，你們的生命與基督一同藏在神裏面。
4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
4 우리 생명이신 그리스도께서 나타나실 그 때에 너희도 그와 함께 영광 중에 나타나리라
4. 基督是我們的生命，他顯現的時候，你們也要與他一同顯現在榮耀裏。
5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
5 그러므로 땅에 있는 지체를 죽이라 곧 음란과 부정과 사욕과 악한 정욕과 탐심이니 탐심은 우상 숭배니라
5. 所以，要治死你們在地上的肢體，就如淫亂、汚穢、邪情、惡慾，和貪婪。貪婪就與拜偶像一樣。
6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
6 이것들로 말미암아 하나님의 진노가 임하느니라
6. 因這些事，神的忿怒必臨到那悖逆之子。
7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.
7 너희도 전에 그 가운데 살 때에는 그 가운데서 행하였으나
7. 當你們在這些事中活著的時候，也曾這樣行過。
8 But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.
8 이제는 너희가 이 모든 것을 벗어 버리라 곧 분함과 노여움과 악의와 비방과 너희 입의 부끄러운 말이라
8. 但現在你們要棄絶這一切的事，以及惱恨、忿怒、惡毒（或作：陰毒）、毁謗，並口中汚穢的言語。
9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices
9 너희가 서로 거짓말을 하지 말라 옛 사람과 그 행위를 벗어버리고
9. 不要彼此說謊；因你們已經脫去舊人和舊人的行爲，
10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
10 새 사람을 입었으니 이는 자기를 창조하신 이의 형상을 따라 지식에까지 새롭게 하심을 입은 자니라
10. 穿上了新人。這新人在知識上漸漸更新，正如造他主的形像。
11 Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
11 거기에는 헬라인이나 유대인이나 할례파나 무 할례파나 야만인이나 스구디아인이 종이나 자유인이 차별이 있을 수 없나니 오직 그리스도는 만유시요 만유 안에 계시니라
11. 在此並不分希利尼人、猶太人，受割禮的、未受割禮的，化外人，西古提人，爲奴的、自主的，惟有基督是包括切，又住在各人之內。
12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
12 그러므로 너희는 하나님이 택하사 거룩하고 사랑 받는 자처럼 긍휼과 자비와 겸손과 온유와 오래 참음을 옷 입고
12. 所以，你們旣是神的選民，聖潔蒙愛的人，就要存（原文作穿；下同）憐憫、恩慈、謙虛、溫柔、忍耐的心。
13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
13 누가 누구에게 불만이 있거든 서로 용납하여 피차 용서하되 주께서 너희를 용서하신 것 같이 너희도 그리하고
13. 倘若這人與那人有嫌隙，總要彼此包容，彼此饒恕；主怎樣饒恕了你們，你們也要怎樣饒恕人。
14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
14 이 모든 것 위에 사랑을 더하라
14. 在這一切之外，要存著愛心，愛心就是聯絡全德的。
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
15 그리스도의 평강이 너희 마음을 주장하게 하라 너희는 평강을 위하여 한 몸으로 부르심을 받았나니 너희는 또한 감사하는 자가 되라
15. 又要叫基督的平安在你們心裏作主；你們也爲此蒙召，歸爲一體；且要存感謝的心。
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
16 그리스도의 말씀이 너희 속에 풍성히 거하여 모든 지혜로 피차 가르치며 권면하고 시와 찬송과 신령한 노래를 부르며 감사하는 마음으로 하나님을 찬양하고
16. 當用各樣的智慧，把基督的道理豐豐富富的存在心裏，（或作：當把基督的道理豐豐富富的存在心裏，以各樣的慧），用詩章、頌詞、靈歌，彼此敎導，互相勸戒，心恩感，歌頌神。
17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
17 또 무엇을 하든지 말에나 일에나 다 주 예수의 이름으로 하고 그를 힘입어 하나님 아버지께 감사하라
17. 無論作甚麽，或說話或行事，都要奉主耶穌的名，藉著他感謝父神。
18 Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
18 아내들아 남편에게 복종하라 이는 주 안에서 마땅하니라
18. 你們作妻子的，當順服自己的丈夫，這在主裏面是相宜的。
19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
19 남편들아 아내를 사랑하며 괴롭게 하지 말라
19. 你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，不可苦待他們。
20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
20 자녀들아 모든 일에 부모에게 순종하라 이는 주 안에서 기쁘게 하는 것이니라
20. 你們作兒女的，要凡事聽從父母，因爲這是主所喜悅的。
21 Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.
21 아비들아 너희 자녀를 노엽게 하지 말지니 낙심할까 함이라
21. 你們作父親的，不要惹兒女的氣，恐怕他們失了志氣。
22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.
22 종들아 모든 일에 육신의 상전들에게 순종하되 사람을 기쁘게 하는 자와 같이 눈 가림만 하지 말고 오직 주를 두려워하여 성실한 마음으로 하라
22. 你們作僕人的，要凡事聽從你們肉身的主人，不要只在眼前事奉，像是討人喜歡的，總要存心誠實敬畏主。
23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,
23 무슨 일을 하든지 마음을 다하여 주께 하듯 하고 사람에게 하듯 하지 말라
23. 無論作甚麽，都要從心裏作，像是給主作的，不是給人作的，
24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
24 이는 기업의 상을 주께 받을 줄 아나니 너희는 주 그리스도를 섬기느니라
24. 因你們知道從主那裏必得著基業爲賞賜；你們所事奉的乃是主基督。
25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.
25 불의를 행하는 자는 불의의 보응을 받으리니 주는 사람을 외모로 취하심이 없느니라
25. 那行不義的必受不義的報應；主並不偏待人。
