1 The people of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, Jehoram's youngest son, king in his place, since the raiders, who came with the Arabs into the camp, had killed all the older sons. So Ahaziah son of Jehoram king of Judah began to reign.
1 예루살렘 주민이 여호람의 막내 아들 아하시야에게 왕위를 계승하게 하였으니 이는 전에 아라비아 사람들과 함께 와서 진을 치던 부대가 그의 모든 형들을 죽였음이라 그러므로 유다 왕 여호람의 아들 아하시야가 왕이 되었더라
1. 耶路撒冷的居民立約蘭的小兒子亞哈謝接續他作王；因爲跟隨亞拉伯人來攻營的軍兵曾殺了亞哈謝的衆兄長。這，猶大王約蘭的兒子亞哈謝作了王。
2 Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem one year. His mother's name was Athaliah, a granddaughter of Omri.
2 아하시야가 왕이 될 때에 나이가 사십이 세라 예루살렘에서 일 년 동안 다스리니라 그의 어머니의 이름은 아달랴요 오므리의 손녀더라
2. 亞哈謝登基的時候年四十二歲【王下八26作二十二歲】，在耶路撒冷作王一年。他母親名叫亞他利雅，是暗利的女。
3 He too walked in the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother encouraged him in doing wrong.
3 아하시야도 아합의 집 길로 행하였으니 이는 그의 어머니가 꾀어 악을 행하게 하였음이라
3. 亞哈謝也行亞哈家的道；因爲他母親給他主謀，使他行惡。
4 He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, as the house of Ahab had done, for after his father's death they became his advisers, to his undoing.
4 그의 아버지가 죽은 후에 그가 패망하게 하는 아합의 집의 가르침을 따라 여호와 보시기에 아합의 집 같이 악을 행하였더라
4. 他行耶和華眼中看爲惡的事，像亞哈家一樣；因他父親死後有亞哈家的人給他主謀，以致敗壞。
5 He also followed their counsel when he went with Joram son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead. The Arameans wounded Joram;
5 아하시야가 아합의 집의 가르침을 따라 이스라엘 왕 아합의 아들 요람과 함께 길르앗 라못으로 가서 아람 왕 하사엘과 더불어 싸우더니 아람 사람들이 요람을 상하게 한지라
5. 他聽從亞哈家的計謀，同以色列王亞哈的兒子約蘭往基列的拉末去，與亞蘭王哈薛爭戰；亞蘭人打傷了約蘭。
6 so he returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds they had inflicted on him at Ramoth in his battle with Hazael king of Aram. Then Ahaziah son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to Jezreel to see Joram son of Ahab because he had been wounded.
6 요람이 아람 왕 하사엘과 싸울 때에 라마에서 맞아 상한 것을 치료하려 하여 이스르엘로 돌아 왔더라 아합의 아들 요람이 병이 있으므로 유다 왕 여호람의 아들 아사랴가 이스르엘에 내려가서 방문하였더라
6. 約蘭回到耶斯列，醫治在拉末與亞蘭王哈薛打仗所受的傷，猶大王約蘭的兒子亞撒利雅【卽亞哈謝】因爲亞哈的子約蘭病了，就下到耶斯列看望他。
7 Through Ahaziah's visit to Joram, God brought about Ahaziah's downfall. When Ahaziah arrived, he went out with Joram to meet Jehu son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to destroy the house of Ahab.
7 아하시야가 요람에게 가므로 해를 입었으니 이는 하나님께로 말미암은 것이라 아하시야가 갔다가 요람과 함께 나가서 님시의 아들 예후를 맞았으니 그는 여호와께서 기름을 부으시고 아합의 집을 멸하게 하신 자이더라
7. 亞哈謝去見約蘭就被害了，這是出乎神；因爲他到了，就同約蘭出去攻擊寧示的孫子耶戶。這耶戶是耶和華所膏使他剪除亞哈家的。
8 While Jehu was executing judgment on the house of Ahab, he found the princes of Judah and the sons of Ahaziah's relatives, who had been attending Ahaziah, and he killed them.
8 예후로 하여금 아합의 집을 심판하게 하실 때에 유다 방백들과 아하시야의 형제들의 아들들 곧 아하시야를 섬기는 자들을 만나서 죽였고
8. 耶戶討亞哈家罪的時候，遇見猶大的衆首領和亞哈謝的衆姪子服事亞哈謝，就把他們都殺了。
9 He then went in search of Ahaziah, and his men captured him while he was hiding in Samaria. He was brought to Jehu and put to death. They buried him, for they said, "He was a son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart." So there was no one in the house of Ahaziah powerful enough to retain the kingdom.
9 아하시야는 사마리아에 숨었더니 예후가 찾으매 무리가 그를 예후에게로 잡아가서 죽이고 이르기를 그는 전심으로 여호와를 구하던 여호사밧의 아들이라 하고 장사하였더라 이에 아하시야의 집이 약하여 왕위를 힘으로 지키지 못하게 되니라
9. 亞哈謝藏在撒瑪利亞，耶戶尋找他，衆人將他拿住，送到耶戶那裏，就殺了他，將他葬埋；因他們說，他是那盡尋求耶和華之約沙法的兒子。這樣，亞哈謝的家無力保國權。
10 When Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she proceeded to destroy the whole royal family of the house of Judah.
10 아하시야의 어머니 아달랴가 자기의 아들이 죽은 것을 보고 일어나 유다 집의 왕국의 씨를 모두 진멸하였으나
10. 亞哈謝的母親亞他利雅見他兒子死了，就起來剿滅猶大王室。
11 But Jehosheba, the daughter of King Jehoram, took Joash son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the royal princes who were about to be murdered and put him and his nurse in a bedroom. Because Jehosheba, the daughter of King Jehoram and wife of the priest Jehoiada, was Ahaziah's sister, she hid the child from Athaliah so she could not kill him.
11 왕의 딸 여호사브앗이 아하시야의 아들 요아스를 왕자들이 죽임을 당하는 중에서 몰래 빼내어 그와 그의 유모를 침실에 숨겨 아달랴를 피하게 하였으므로 아달랴가 그를 죽이지 못하였더라 여호사브앗은 여호람 왕의 딸이요 아하시야의 누이요 제사장 여호야다의 아내이더라
11. 但王的女兒約示巴將亞哈謝的兒子約阿施從那被殺的王子中偸出來，把他和他的乳母都藏在臥房裏。約示巴是約王的女兒，亞哈謝的妹子，祭司耶何耶大的妻。他收藏阿施，躱避亞他利雅，免得被殺。
12 He remained hidden with them at the temple of God for six years while Athaliah ruled the land.
12 요아스가 그들과 함께 하나님의 전에 육 년을 숨어 있는 동안에 아달랴가 나라를 다스렸더라
12. 約阿施和他們一同藏在神殿裏六年；亞他利雅簒了國位。
