1 The apostles and the brothers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.
1 유대에 있는 사도들과 형제들이 이방인들도 하나님의 말씀을 받았다 함을 들었더니
1. 就吩咐奉耶穌基督的名給他們施洗。他們又請彼得住了幾天。
2 So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him
2 베드로가 예루살렘에 올라갔을 때에 할례자들이 비난하여
2. 使徒和在猶太的衆弟兄聽說外邦人也領受了神的道。
3 and said, "You went into the house of uncircumcised men and ate with them."
3 이르되 네가 무할례자의 집에 들어가 함께 먹었다 하니
3. 及至彼得上了耶路撒冷，那些奉割禮的門徒和他爭辯說：
4 Peter began and explained everything to them precisely as it had happened:
4 베드로가 그들에게 이 일을 차례로 설명하여
4. 你進入未受割禮之人的家和他們一同喫飯了。
5 "I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision. I saw something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to where I was.
5 이르되 내가 욥바 시에서 기도할 때에 황홀한 중에 환상을 보니 큰 보자기 같은 그릇이 네 귀에 매어 하늘로부터 내리어 내 앞에까지 드리워지거늘
5. 彼得就開口把這事挨次給他們講解說：
6 I looked into it and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds of the air.
6 이것을 주목하여 보니 땅에 네 발 가진 것과 들짐승과 기는 것과 공중에 나는 것들이 보이더라
6. 我在約帕城裏禱告的時候，魂遊象外，看見異象，有一物降下，好像一塊大布，繫著四角，從天縋下，直來到我前。
7 Then I heard a voice telling me, 'Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.'
7 또 들으니 소리 있어 내게 이르되 베드로야 일어나 잡아 먹으라 하거늘
7. 我定睛觀看，見內中有地上四足的牲畜和野獸、昆蟲，並天上的飛鳥。
8 "I replied, 'Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.'
8 내가 이르되 주님 그럴 수 없나이다 속되거나 깨끗하지 아니한 것은 결코 내 입에 들어간 일이 없나이다 하니
8. 我且聽見有聲音向我說：彼得，起來，宰了喫！
9 "The voice spoke from heaven a second time, 'Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.'
9 또 하늘로부터 두 번째 소리 있어 내게 이르되 하나님이 깨끗하게 하신 것을 네가 속되다고 하지 말라 하더라
9. 我說：主阿，這是不可的！凡俗而不潔淨的物從來沒有入過我的口。
10 This happened three times, and then it was all pulled up to heaven again.
10 이런 일이 세 번 있은 후에 모든 것이 다시 하늘로 끌려 올라가더라
10. 第二次，有聲音從天上說：神所潔淨的，你不可當作俗物。
11 "Right then three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying.
11 마침 세 사람이 내가 유숙한 집 앞에 서 있으니 가이사랴에서 내게로 보낸 사람이라
11. 這樣一連三次，就都收回天上去了。
12 The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man's house.
12 성령이 내게 명하사 아무 의심 말고 함께 가라 하시매 이 여섯 형제도 나와 함께 가서 그 사람의 집에 들어가니
12. 正當那時，有三個人站在我們所住的房門前，是從該撒利亞差來見我的。
13 He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, 'Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter.
13 그가 우리에게 말하기를 천사가 내 집에 서서 말하되 네가 사람을 욥바에 보내어 베드로라 하는 시몬을 청하라
13. 聖靈吩咐我和他們同去，不要疑惑。（或作：不要分別等類）。同著我去的，還有這六位弟兄；我們都進了那人家，
14 He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.'
14 그가 너와 네 온 집이 구원 받을 말씀을 네게 이르리라 함을 보았다 하거늘
14. 那人就告訴我們，他如何看見一位天使，站在他屋裏，說：你打發人往約帕去，請那稱呼彼得的西門來；
15 "As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.
15 내가 말을 시작할 때에 성령이 그들에게 임하시기를 처음 우리에게 하신 것과 같이 하는지라
15. 他有話告訴你，可以叫你和你的全家得救。
16 Then I remembered what the Lord had said: 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'
16 내가 주의 말씀에 요한은 물로 세례를 베풀었으나 너희는 성령으로 세례를 받으리라 하신 것이 생각났노라
16. 我一開講，聖靈便降在他們身上，正像當初降在我們身上一樣。
17 So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?"
17 그런즉 하나님이 우리가 주 예수 그리스도를 믿을 때에 주신 것과 같은 선물을 그들에게도 주셨으니 내가 누구이기에 하나님을 능히 막겠느냐 하더라
17. 我就想起主的話說：約翰是用水施洗，但你們要受聖靈的洗。
18 When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life."
18 그들이 이 말을 듣고 잠잠하여 하나님께 영광을 돌려 이르되 그러면 하나님께서 이방인에게도 생명 얻는 회개를 주셨도다 하니라
18. 神旣然給他們恩賜，像在我們信主耶穌基督的時候給了我們一樣；我是誰，能攔阻神呢！
19 Now those who had been scattered by the persecution in connection with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, telling the message only to Jews.
19 그 때에 스데반의 일로 일어난 환난으로 말미암아 흩어진 자들이 베니게와 구브로와 안디옥까지 이르러 유대인에게만 말씀을 전하는데
19. 衆人聽見這話，就不言語了，只歸榮耀與神，說：這樣看來，神也賜恩給外邦人，叫他們悔改得生命了。
20 Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus.
20 그 중에 구브로와 구레네 몇 사람이 안디옥에 이르러 헬라인에게도 말하여 주 예수를 전파하니
20. 那些因司提反的事遭患難四散的門徒直走到腓尼基和居比路，並安提阿；他們不向別人講道，只向猶太人講。
21 The Lord's hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.
21 주의 손이 그들과 함께 하시매 수 많은 사람들이 믿고 주께 돌아오더라
21. 但內中有居比路和古利奈人，他們到了安提阿也向希利尼人傳講主耶穌（有古卷作：也向說希利尼話的猶太人傳主耶穌）。
22 News of this reached the ears of the church at Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch.
22 예루살렘 교회가 이 사람들의 소문을 듣고 바나바를 안디옥까지 보내니
22. 主與他們同在，信而歸主的人就很多了。
23 When he arrived and saw the evidence of the grace of God, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts.
23 그가 이르러 하나님의 은혜를 보고 기뻐하여 모든 사람에게 굳건한 믿음으로 주와 함께 머물러 있으라 권하니
23. 這風聲傳到耶路撒冷敎會人的耳中，他們就打發巴拿巴出去，走到安提阿爲止。
24 He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.
24 바나바는 착한 사람이요 성령과 믿음이 충만한 사람이라 이에 큰 무리가 주께 더하여지더라
24. 他到了那裏，看見神所賜的恩就歡喜，勸勉衆人，立定心志，恆久靠主。
25 Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,
25 바나바가 사울을 찾으러 다소에 가서
25. 這巴拿巴原是個好人，被聖靈充滿，大有信心。於是有許多人歸服了主。
26 and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.
26 만나매 안디옥에 데리고 와서 둘이 교회에 일 년간 모여 있어 큰 무리를 가르쳤고 제자들이 안디옥에서 비로소 그리스도인이라 일컬음을 받게 되었더라
26. 他又往大數去找掃羅，
27 During this time some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
27 그 때에 선지자들이 예루살렘에서 안디옥에 이르니
27. 找著了，就帶他到安提阿去。他們足有一年的工夫和敎會一同聚集，敎訓了許多人。門徒稱爲基督徒是從安提阿首。
28 One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world. (This happened during the reign of Claudius.)
28 그 중에 아가보라 하는 한 사람이 일어나 성령으로 말하되 천하에 큰 흉년이 들리라 하더니 글라우디오 때에 그렇게 되니라
28. 當那些日子，有幾位先知從耶路撒冷下到安提阿。
29 The disciples, each according to his ability, decided to provide help for the brothers living in Judea.
29 제자들이 각각 그 힘대로 유대에 사는 형제들에게 부조를 보내기로 작정하고
29. 內中有一位，名叫亞迦布，站起來，藉著聖靈指明天下將有大饑荒。這事到革老丢年間果然有了。
30 This they did, sending their gift to the elders by Barnabas and Saul.
30 이를 실행하여 바나바와 사울의 손으로 장로들에게 보내니라
30. 於是門徒定意照各人的力量捐錢，送去供給住在猶太的弟兄。
