1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you?
1 우리가 다시 자천하기를 시작하겠느냐 우리가 어찌 어떤 사람처럼 추천서를 너희에게 부치거나 혹은 너희에게 받거나 할 필요가 있느냐
1. 我們豈是又擧薦自己麽？豈像別人用人的薦信給你們或用你們的薦信給人麽？
2 You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody.
2 너희는 우리의 편지라 우리 마음에 썼고 뭇 사람이 알고 읽는 바라
2. 你們就是我們的薦信，寫在我們的心裏，被衆人所知道所念誦的。
3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
3 너희는 우리로 말미암아 나타난 그리스도의 편지니 이는 먹으로 쓴 것이 아니요 오직 살아 계신 하나님의 영으로 쓴 것이며 또 돌 판에 쓴 것이 아니요 오직 육의 마음 판에 쓴 것이라
3. 你們明顯是基督的信，藉著我們修成的。不是用墨寫的，乃是用永生神的靈寫的；不是寫在石版上，乃是寫在心上。
4 Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God.
4 우리가 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님을 향하여 이같은 확신이 있으니
4. 我們因基督，所以在神面前纔有這樣的信心。
5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.
5 우리가 무슨 일이든지 우리에게서 난 것 같이 생각하여 스스로 만족할 것이 아니니 우리의 만족은 오직 하나님께로부터 나느니라
5. 並不是我們憑自己能承擔甚麽事；我們所能承擔的，乃是出於神。
6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant--not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
6 그가 또한 우리를 새 언약의 일꾼 되기에 만족하게 하셨으니 율법 조문으로 하지 아니하고 오직 영으로 함이니 율법 조문은 죽이는 것이요 영은 살리는 것이니라
6. 他叫我們能承當這新約的執事，不是憑著字句，乃是憑著精意；因爲那字句是叫人死，精意（或作：聖靈）是叫活。
7 Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it was,
7 돌에 써서 새긴 죽게 하는 율법 조문의 직분도 영광이 있어 이스라엘 자손들은 모세의 얼굴의 없어질 영광 때문에도 그 얼굴을 주목하지 못하였거든
7. 那用字刻在石頭上屬死的職事尙且有榮光，甚至以色列人因摩西面上的榮光，不能定睛看他的臉；這榮光原是漸退去的，
8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?
8 하물며 영의 직분은 더욱 영광이 있지 아니하겠느냐
8. 何況那屬靈的職事豈不更有榮光麽？
9 If the ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness!
9 정죄의 직분도 영광이 있은즉 의의 직분은 영광이 더욱 넘치리라
9. 若是定罪的職事有榮光，那稱義的職事榮光就越發大了。
10 For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory.
10 영광되었던 것이 더 큰 영광으로 말미암아 이에 영광될 것이 없으나
10. 那從前有榮光的，因這極大的榮光就算不得有榮光了；
11 And if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!
11 없어질 것도 영광으로 말미암았은즉 길이 있을 것은 더욱 영광 가운데 있느니라
11. 若那廢掉的有榮光，這長存的就更有榮光了。
12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.
12 우리가 이같은 소망이 있으므로 담대히 말하노니
12. 我們旣有這樣的盼望，就大膽講說，
13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away.
13 우리는 모세가 이스라엘 자손들에게 장차 없어질 것의 결국을 주목하지 못하게 하려고 수건을 그 얼굴에 쓴 것 같이 아니하노라
13. 不像摩西將帕子蒙在臉上，叫以色列人不能定睛看到那將廢者的結局。
14 But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.
14 그러나 그들의 마음이 완고하여 오늘까지도 구약을 읽을 때에 그 수건이 벗겨지지 아니하고 있으니 그 수건은 그리스도 안에서 없어질 것이라
14. 但他們的心地剛硬，直到今日誦讀舊約的時候，這帕子還沒有揭去。這帕子在基督裏已經廢去了。
15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.
15 오늘까지 모세의 글을 읽을 때에 수건이 그 마음을 덮었도다
15. 然而直到今日，每逢誦讀摩西書的時候，帕子還在他們心上。
16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
16 그러나 언제든지 주께로 돌아가면 그 수건이 벗겨지리라
16. 但他們的心幾時歸向主，帕子就幾時除去了。
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
17 주는 영이시니 주의 영이 계신 곳에는 자유가 있느니라
17. 主就是那靈；主的靈在那裏，那裏就得以自由。
18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
18 우리가 다 수건을 벗은 얼굴로 거울을 보는 것 같이 주의 영광을 보매 그와 같은 형상으로 변화하여 영광에서 영광에 이르니 곧 주의 영으로 말미암음이니라
18. 我們衆人旣然敞著臉得以看見主的榮光，好像從鏡子裏返照，就變成主的形狀，榮上加榮，如同從主的靈變成的。
