1 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge:
1 하나님 앞과 살아 있는 자와 죽은 자를 심판하실 그리스도 예수 앞에서 그가 나타나실 것과 그의 나라를 두고 엄히 명하노니
1. 我在神面前，並在將來審判活人死人的基督耶穌面前，憑著他的顯現和他的國度囑咐你：
2 Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction.
2 너는 말씀을 전파하라 때를 얻든지 못 얻든지 항상 힘쓰라 범사에 오래 참음과 가르침으로 경책하며 경계하며 권하라
2. 務要傳道，無論得時不得時，總要專心；並用百般的忍耐，各樣的敎訓，責備人、警戒人、勸勉人。
3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
3 때가 이르리니 사람이 바른 교훈을 받지 아니하며 귀가 가려워서 자기의 사욕을 따를 스승을 많이 두고
3. 因爲時候要到，人必厭煩純正的道理，耳朵發癢，就隨從自己的情慾，增添好些師傅，
4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
4 또 그 귀를 진리에서 돌이켜 허탄한 이야기를 따르리라
4. 並且掩耳不聽眞道，偏向荒渺的言語。
5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.
5 그러나 너는 모든 일에 신중하여 고난을 받으며 전도자의 일을 하며 네 직무를 다하라
5. 你卻要凡事謹愼，忍受苦難，作傳道的工夫，盡你的職分。
6 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure.
6 전제와 같이 내가 벌써 부어지고 나의 떠날 시각이 가까웠도다
6. 我現在被澆奠，我離世的時候到了。
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
7 나는 선한 싸움을 싸우고 나의 달려갈 길을 마치고 믿음을 지켰으니
7. 那美好的仗我已經打過了，當跑的路我已經跑盡了，所信的道我已經守住了。
8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
8 이제 후로는 나를 위하여 의의 면류관이 예비되었으므로 주 곧 의로우신 재판장이 그날에 내게 주실 것이며 내게만 아니라 주의 나타나심을 사모하는 모든 자에게도니라
8. 從此以後，有公義的冠冕爲我存留，就是按著公義審判的主到了那日要賜給我的；不但賜給我，也賜給凡愛慕他現的人。
9 Do your best to come to me quickly,
9 너는 어서 속히 내게로 오라
9. 你要趕緊的到我這裏來。
10 for Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.
10 데마는 이 세상을 사랑하여 나를 버리고 데살로니가로 갔고 그레스게는 갈라디아로, 디도는 달마디아로 갔고
10. 因爲底馬貪愛現今的世界，就離棄我往帖撒羅尼迦去了，革勒士往加拉太去，提多往撻馬太去，
11 Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is helpful to me in my ministry.
11 누가만 나와 함께 있느니라 네가 올 때에 마가를 데리고 오라 그가 나의 일에 유익하니라
11. 獨有路加在我這裏。你來的時候，要把馬可帶來，因爲他在傳道（或作：服事我）的事上於我有益處。
12 I sent Tychicus to Ephesus.
12 두기고는 에베소로 보내었노라
12. 我已經打發推基古往以弗所去。
13 When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, and my scrolls, especially the parchments.
13 네가 올 때에 드로아 가보의 집에 둔 겉옷을 가지고 오고 또 책은 특별히 가죽 종이에 쓴 것을 가져오라
13. 我在特羅亞留於加布的那件外衣，你來的時候可以帶來，那些書也要帶來，更要緊的是那些皮卷。
14 Alexander the metalworker did me a great deal of harm. The Lord will repay him for what he has done.
14 구리 세공업자 알렉산더가 내게 해를 많이 입혔으매 주께서 그 행한 대로 그에게 갚으시리니
14. 銅匠亞力山大多多的害我；主必照他所行的報應他。
15 You too should be on your guard against him, because he strongly opposed our message.
15 너도 그를 주의하라 그가 우리 말을 심히 대적하였느니라
15. 你也要防備他，因爲他極力敵擋了我們的話。
16 At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them.
16 내가 처음 변명할 때에 나와 함께 한 자가 하나도 없고 다 나를 버렸으나 그들에게 허물을 돌리지 않기를 원하노라
16. 我初次申訴，沒有人前來幇助，竟都離棄我；但願這罪不歸與他們。
17 But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion's mouth.
17 주께서 내 곁에 서서 나에게 힘을 주심은 나로 말미암아 선포된 말씀이 온전히 전파되어 모든 이방인이 듣게 하려 하심이니 내가 사자의 입에서 건짐을 받았느니라
17. 惟有主站在我旁邊，加給我力量，使福音被我盡都傳明，叫外邦人都聽見；我也從獅子口裏被救出來。
18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
18 주께서 나를 모든 악한 일에서 건져내시고 또 그의 천국에 들어가도록 구원하시리니 그에게 영광이 세세무궁토록 있을지어다 아멘
18. 主必救我脫離諸般的兇惡，也必救我進他的天國。願榮耀歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們。
19 Greet Priscilla and Aquila and the household of Onesiphorus.
19 브리스가와 아굴라와 및 오네시보로의 집에 문안하라
19. 問百基拉、亞居拉，和阿尼色弗一家的人安。
20 Erastus stayed in Corinth, and I left Trophimus sick in Miletus.
20 에라스도는 고린도에 머물러 있고 드로비모는 병들어서 밀레도에 두었노니
20. 以拉都在哥林多住下了。特羅非摩病了，我就留他在米利都。
21 Do your best to get here before winter. Eubulus greets you, and so do Pudens, Linus, Claudia and all the brothers.
21 너는 겨울 전에 어서 오라 으불로와 부데와 리노와 글라우디아와 모든 형제가 다 네게 문안 하느니라
21. 你要趕緊在冬天以前到我這裏來。有友布羅、布田、利奴、革老底亞，和衆弟兄都問你安。
22 The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.
22 나는 주께서 네 심령에 함께 계시기를 바라노니 은혜가 너희와 함께 있을지어다
22. 願主與你的靈同在。願恩惠常與你們同在！
