1 The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming--not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.
1 율법은 장차 올 좋은 일의 그림자일 뿐이요 참 형상이 아니므로 해마다 늘 드리는 같은 제사로는 나아오는 자들을 언제나 온전하게 할 수 없느니라
1. 律法旣是將來美事的影兒，不是本物的眞像，總不能藉著每年常獻一樣的祭物叫那近前來的人得以完全。
2 If it could, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins.
2 그렇지 아니하면 섬기는 자들이 단번에 정결하게 되어 다시 죄를 깨닫는 일이 없으리니 어찌 제사 드리는 일을 그치지 아니하였으리요
2. 若不然，獻祭的事豈不早已止住了麽？因爲禮拜的人，良心旣被潔淨，就不再覺得有罪了。
3 But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins,
3 그러나 이 제사들에는 해마다 죄를 기억하게 하는 것이 있나니
3. 但這些祭物是叫人每年想起罪來；
4 because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
4 이는 황소와 염소의 피가 능58히 죄를 없이 하지 못함이라
4. 因爲公牛和山羊的血，斷不能除罪。
5 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me;
5 그러므로 주께서 세상에 임하실 때에 이르시되 하나님이 제사와 예물을 원하지 아니하시고 오직 나를 위하여 한 몸을 예비하셨도다
5. 所以基督到世上來的時候，就說：神阿，祭物和禮物是你不願意的；你曾給我豫備了身體。
6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased.
6 번제와 속죄제는 기뻐하지 아니하시나니
6. 燔祭和贖罪祭是你不喜歡的。
7 Then I said, 'Here I am--it is written about me in the scroll--I have come to do your will, O God.'"
7 이에 내가 말하기를 하나님이여 보시옵소서 두루마리 책에 나를 가리켜 기록된 것과 같이 하나님의 뜻을 행하러 왔나이다 하셨느니라
7. 那時我說：神阿，我來了，爲要照你的旨意行；我的事在經卷上已經記載了。
8 First he said, "Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them" (although the law required them to be made).
8 위에 말씀하시기를 주께서는 제사와 예물과 번제와 속죄제는 원하지도 아니하고 기뻐하지도 아니하신다 하셨고 (이는 다 율법을 따라 드리는 것이라)
8. 以上說：祭物和禮物，燔祭和贖罪祭，是你不願意的，也是你不喜歡的（這都是按著律法獻的）；
9 Then he said, "Here I am, I have come to do your will." He sets aside the first to establish the second.
9 그 후에 말씀하시기를 보시옵소서 내가 하나님의 뜻을 행하러 왔나이다 하셨으니 그 첫째 것을 폐하심은 둘째 것을 세우려 하심이라
9. 後又說：我來了爲要照你的旨意行；可見他是除去在先的，爲要立定在後的。
10 And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
10 이 뜻을 따라 예수 그리스도의 몸을 단번에 드리심으로 말미암아 우리가 거룩함을 얻었노라
10. 我們憑這旨意，靠耶穌基督，只一次獻上他的身體，就得以成聖。
11 Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
11 제사장마다 매일 서서 섬기며 자주 같은 제사를 드리되 이 제사는 언제나 죄를 없게 하지 못하거니와
11. 凡祭司天天站著事奉神，屢次獻上一樣的祭物，這祭物永不能除罪。
12 But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God.
12 오직 그리스도는 죄를 위하여 한 영원한 제사를 드리시고 하나님 우편에 앉으사
12. 但基督獻了一次永遠的贖罪祭，就在神的右邊坐下了。
13 Since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool,
13 그 후에 자기 원수들을 자기 발등상이 되게 하실 때까지 기다리시나니
13. 從此，等候他仇敵成了他的脚凳。
14 because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
14 그가 거룩하게 된 자들을 한 번의 제사로 영원58히 온전하게 하셨느니라
14. 因爲他一次獻祭，便叫那得以成聖的人永遠完全。
15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says:
15 또한 성령이 우리에게 증언하시되
15. 聖靈也對我們作見證；因爲他旣已說過：
16 "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds."
16 주께서 이르시되 그 날 후로는 그들과 맺을 언약이 이것이라 하시고 내 법을 그들의 마음에 두고 그들의 생각에 기록하리라 하신 후에
16. 主說：那些日子以後，我與他們所立的約乃是這樣：我要將我的律法寫在他們心上，又要放在他們的裏面。
17 Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more."
17 또 그들의 죄와 그들의 불법을 내가 다시 기억하지 아니하리라 하셨으니
17. 以後就說：我不再記念他們的罪愆和他們的過犯。
18 And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin.
18 이것들을 사하셨은즉 다시 죄를 위하여 제사 드릴 것이 없느니라
18. 這些罪過旣已赦免，就不用再爲罪獻祭了。
19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,
19 그러므로 형제들아 우리가 예수의 피를 힘입어 성소에 들어갈 담력을 얻었나니
19. 弟兄們，我們旣因耶穌的血得以坦然進入至聖所，
20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,
20 그 길은 우리를 위하여 휘장 가운데로 열어 놓으신 새로운 살 길이요 휘장은 곧 그의 육체니라
20. 是藉著他給我們開了一條又新又活的路，從幔子經過，這幔子就是他的身體。
21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
21 또 하나님의 집 다스리는 큰 제사장이 계시매
21. 又有一位大祭司治理神的家！
22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
22 우리가 마음에 뿌림을 받아 악한 양심으로부터 벗어나고 몸은 맑은 물로 씻음을 받았으니 참 마음과 온전한 믿음으로 하나님께 나아가자
22. 並我們心中天良的虧欠已經灑去，身體用淸水洗淨了，就當存著誠心和充足的信心來到神面前；
23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
23 또 약속하신 이는 미쁘시니 우리가 믿는 도리의 소망을 움직이지 말며 굳게 잡고
23. 也要堅守我們所承認的指望，不至搖動，因爲那應許我們的是信實的。
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
24 서로 돌아보아 사랑과 선행을 격려하며
24. 又要彼此相顧，激發愛心，勉勵行善。
25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
25 모이기를 폐하는 어떤 사람들의 습관과 같이 하지 말고 오직 권하여 그 날이 가까움을 볼수록 더욱 그리하자
25. 你們不可停止聚會，好像那些停止慣了的人，倒要彼此勸勉，旣知道（原文是看見）那日子臨近，就更當如此。
26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,
26 우리가 진리를 아는 지식을 받은 후 짐짓 죄를 범한 즉 다시 속죄하는 제사가 없고
26. 因爲我們得知眞道以後，若故意犯罪，贖罪的祭就再沒有了；
27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.
27 오직 무서운 마음으로 심판을 기다리는 것과 대적하는 자를 태울 맹렬한 불만 있으리라
27. 惟有戰懼等候審判和那燒滅衆敵人的烈火。
28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
28 모세의 법을 폐한 자도 두세 증인으로 말미암아 불쌍히 여김을 받지 못하고 죽었거든
28. 人干犯摩西的律法，憑兩三個見證人，尙且不得憐恤而死，
29 How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?
29 하물며 하나님 아들을 짓밟고 자기를 거룩하게 한 언약의 피를 부정한 것으로 여기고 은혜의 성령을 욕되게 하는 자가 당연58히 받을 형벌은 얼마나 더 무겁겠느냐 너희는 생각하라
29. 何況人踐踏神的兒子，將那使他成聖之約的血當作平常，又褻慢施恩的聖靈，你們想，他要受的刑罰該怎樣加重！
30 For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," and again, "The Lord will judge his people."
30 원수 갚는 것이 내게 있으니 내가 갚으리라 하시고 또 다시 주께서 그의 백성을 심판하리라 말씀하신 것을 우리가 아노니
30. 因爲我們知道誰說：伸冤在我，我必報應；又說：主要審判他的百姓。
31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
31 살아 계신 하나님의 손에 빠져 들어가는 것이 무서울진저
31. 落在永生神的手裏，眞是可怕的！
32 Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering.
32 전날에 너희가 빛을 받은 후에 고난의 큰 싸움을 견디어 낸 것을 생각하라
32. 你們要追念往日，蒙了光照以後所忍受大爭戰的各樣苦難：
33 Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated.
33 혹 비방과 환난으로써 사람에게 구경거리가 되고 혹은 이런 형편에 있는 자들과 사귀는 자가 되었으니
33. 一面被毁謗，遭患難，成了戱景，叫衆人觀看；一面陪伴那些受這樣苦難的人。
34 You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.
34 너희가 갇힌 자를 동정하고 너희 소유를 빼앗기는 것도 기쁘게 당한 것은 더 낫고 영구한 소유가 있는 줄 앎이라
34. 因爲你們體恤了那些被捆鎖的人，並且你們的家業被人搶去，也甘心忍受，知道自己有更美長存的家業。
35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.
35 그러므로 너희 담대함을 버리지 말라 이것이 큰 상을 얻게하느니라
35. 所以，你們不可丢棄勇敢的心；存這樣的心必得大賞賜。
36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
36 너희에게 인내가 필요함은 너희가 하나님의 뜻을 행한 후에 약속하신 것을 받기 위함이라
36. 你們必須忍耐，使你們行完了神的旨意，就可以得著所應許的。
37 For in just a very little while, "He who is coming will come and will not delay.
37 잠시 잠깐 후면 오실 이가 오시리니 지체하지 아니하시리라
37. 因爲還有一點點時候，那要來的就來，並不遲延；
38 But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him."
38 나의 의인은 믿음으로 말미암아 살리라 또한 뒤로 물러가면 내 마음이 그를 기뻐하지 아니하리라 하셨느니라
38. 只是義人（有古卷：我的義人）必因信得生。他若退後，我心裏就不喜歡他。
39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.
39 우리는 뒤로 물러가 멸망할 자가 아니요 오직 영혼을 구원함에 이르는 믿음을 가진 자니라
39. 我們卻不是退後入沉淪的那等人，乃是有信心以致靈魂得救的人。
