1 Then the whole assembly rose and led him off to Pilate.
1 무리가 다 일어나 예수를 빌라도에게 끌고 가서
1. 衆人都起來，把耶穌解到彼拉多面前，
2 And they began to accuse him, saying, "We have found this man subverting our nation. He opposes payment of taxes to Caesar and claims to be Christ, a king."
2 고발하여 이르되 우리가 이 사람을 보매 우리 백성을 미혹하고 가이사에게 세금 바치는 것을 금하며 자칭 왕 그리스도라 하더이다 하니
2. 就告他說：我們見這人誘惑國民，禁止納稅給該撒，並說自己是基督，是王。
3 So Pilate asked Jesus, "Are you the king of the Jews?" "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied.
3 빌라도가 예수께 물어 이르되 네가 유대인의 왕이냐 대답하여 이르시되 네 말이 옳도다
3. 彼拉多問耶穌說：你是猶太人的王麽？耶穌回答說：你說的是。
4 Then Pilate announced to the chief priests and the crowd, "I find no basis for a charge against this man."
4 빌라도가 대제사장들과 무리에게 이르되 내가 보니 이 사람에게 죄가 없도다 하니
4. 彼拉多對祭司長和衆人說：我査不出這人有甚麽罪來。
5 But they insisted, "He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here."
5 무리가 더욱 강하게 말하되 그가 온 유대에서 가르치고 갈릴리에서부터 시작하여 여기까지 와서 백성을 소동하게 하나이다
5. 但他們越發極力的說：他煽惑百姓，在猶太遍地傳道，從加利利起，直到這裏了。
6 On hearing this, Pilate asked if the man was a Galilean.
6 빌라도가 듣고 묻되 그가 갈릴리 사람이냐 물어
6. 彼拉多一聽見，就問：這人是加利利人麽？
7 When he learned that Jesus was under Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem at that time.
7 헤롯의 관할에 속한 줄을 알고 헤롯에게 보내니 그 때에 헤롯이 예루살렘에 있더라
7. 旣曉得耶穌屬希律所管，就把他送到希律那裏去。那時希律正在耶路撒冷。
8 When Herod saw Jesus, he was greatly pleased, because for a long time he had been wanting to see him. From what he had heard about him, he hoped to see him perform some miracle.
8 헤롯이 예수를 보고 매우 기뻐하니 이는 그의 소문을 들었으므로 보고자 한 지 오래였고 또한 무엇이나 이적 행하심을 볼까 바랐던 연고러라
8. 希律看見耶穌，就很歡喜；因爲聽見過他的事，久已想要見他，並且指望看他行一件神蹟。
9 He plied him with many questions, but Jesus gave him no answer.
9 여러 말로 물으나 아무 말도 대답하지 아니하시니
9. 於是問他許多的話；耶穌卻一言不答。
10 The chief priests and the teachers of the law were standing there, vehemently accusing him.
10 대제사장들과 서기관들이 서서 힘써 고발하더라
10. 祭司長和文士都站著，極力的告他。
11 Then Herod and his soldiers ridiculed and mocked him. Dressing him in an elegant robe, they sent him back to Pilate.
11 헤롯이 그 군인들과 함께 예수를 업신여기며 희롱하고 빛난 옷을 입혀 빌라도에게 도로 보내니
11. 希律和他的兵丁就藐視耶穌，戱弄他，給他穿上華麗衣服，把他送回彼拉多那裏去。
12 That day Herod and Pilate became friends--before this they had been enemies.
12 헤롯과 빌라도가 전에는 원수였으나 당일에 서로 친구가 되니라
12. 從前希律和彼拉多彼此有仇，在那一天就成了朋友。
13 Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers and the people,
13 빌라도가 대제사장들과 관리들과 백성을 불러 모으고
13. 彼拉多傳齊了祭司長和官府並百姓，
14 and said to them, "You brought me this man as one who was inciting the people to rebellion. I have examined him in your presence and have found no basis for your charges against him.
14 이르되 너희가 이 사람이 백성을 미혹하는 자라 하여 내게 끌고 왔도다 보라 내가 너희 앞에서 심문하였으되 너희가 고발하는 일에 대하여 이 사람에게서 죄를 찾지 못하였고
14. 就對他們說：你們解這人到我這裏，說他是誘惑百姓的。看哪，我也曾將你們告他的事，在你們面前審問他，並有査出他甚麽罪來；
15 Neither has Herod, for he sent him back to us; as you can see, he has done nothing to deserve death.
15 헤롯이 또한 그렇게 하여 그를 우리에게 도로 보내었도다 보라 그가 행한 일에는 죽일 일이 없느니라
15. 就是希律也是如此，所以把他送回來。可見他沒有作甚麽該死的事。
16 Therefore, I will punish him and then release him."
16 그러므로 때려서 놓겠노라
16. 故此，我要責打他，把他釋放了。（有古卷在此有：
17 (없음)
17 Now he was obliged to release one man to them at the Feast.
17. 每逢這節期，巡撫必須釋放一個囚犯給他們。）
18 With one voice they cried out, "Away with this man! Release Barabbas to us!"
18 무리가 일제히 소리 질러 이르되 이 사람을 없이하고 바라바를 우리에게 놓아 주소서 하니
18. 衆人卻一齊喊著說：除掉這個人！釋放巴拉巴給我們！
19 (Barabbas had been thrown into prison for an insurrection in the city, and for murder.)
19 이 바라바는 성중에서 일어난 민란과 살인으로 말미암아 옥에 갇힌 자러라
19. 這巴拉巴是因在城裏作亂殺人，下在監裏的。
20 Wanting to release Jesus, Pilate appealed to them again.
20 빌라도는 예수를 놓고자 하여 다시 그들에게 말하되
20. 彼拉多願意釋放耶穌，就又勸解他們。
21 But they kept shouting, "Crucify him! Crucify him!"
21 그들은 소리 질러 이르되 그를 십자가에 못 박게 하소서 십자가에 못 박게 하소서 하는지라
21. 無奈他們喊著說：釘他十字架！釘他十字架！
22 For the third time he spoke to them: "Why? What crime has this man committed? I have found in him no grounds for the death penalty. Therefore I will have him punished and then release him."
22 빌라도가 세 번째 말하되 이 사람이 무슨 악한 일을 하였느냐 나는 그에게서 죽일 죄를 찾지 못하였나니 때려서 놓으리라 하니
22. 彼拉多第三次對他們說：爲甚麽呢？這人作了甚麽惡事呢？我並沒有査出他甚麽該死的罪來。所以，我要責打他把他釋放了。
23 But with loud shouts they insistently demanded that he be crucified, and their shouts prevailed.
23 그들이 큰 소리로 재촉하여 십자가에 못 박기를 구하니 그들의 소리가 이긴지라
23. 他們大聲催逼彼拉多，求他把耶穌釘在十字架上。他們的聲音就得了勝。
24 So Pilate decided to grant their demand.
24 이에 빌라도가 그들의 구하는 대로 하기를 언도하고
24. 彼拉多這纔照他們所求的定案，
25 He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, the one they asked for, and surrendered Jesus to their will.
25 그들이 요구하는 자 곧 민란과 살인으로 말미암아 옥에 갇힌 자를 놓아 주고 예수는 넘겨 주어 그들의 뜻대로 하게 하니라
25. 把他們所求的那作亂殺人、下在監裏的釋放了，把耶穌交給他們，任憑他們的意思行。
26 As they led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus.
26 그들이 예수를 끌고 갈 때에 시몬이라는 구레네 사람이 시골에서 오는 것을 붙들어 그에게 십자가를 지워 예수를 따르게 하더라
26. 帶耶穌去的時候，有一個古利奈人西門，從鄕下來；他們就抓住他，把十字架擱在他身上，叫他背著跟隨耶穌。
27 A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him.
27 또 백성과 및 그를 위하여 가슴을 치며 슬피 우는 여자의 큰 무리가 따라오는지라
27. 有許多百姓跟隨耶穌，內中有好些婦女；婦女們爲他號咷痛哭。
28 Jesus turned and said to them, "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children.
28 예수께서 돌이켜 그들을 향하여 이르시되 예루살렘의 딸들아 나를 위하여 울지 말고 너희와 너희 자녀를 위하여 울라
28. 耶穌轉身對他們說：耶路撒冷的女子，不要爲我哭，當爲自己和自己的兒女哭。
29 For the time will come when you will say, 'Blessed are the barren women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!'
29 보라 날이 이르면 사람이 말하기를 잉태하지 못하는 이와 해산하지 못한 배와 먹이지 못한 젖이 복이 있다 하리라
29. 因爲日子要到，人必說：不生育的，和未曾懷胎的，未曾乳養嬰孩的，有福了！
30 Then "'they will say to the mountains, "Fall on us!" and to the hills, "Cover us!" '
30 그 때에 사람이 산들을 대하여 우리 위에 무너지라 하며 작은 산들을 대하여 우리를 덮으라 하리라
30. 那時，人要向大山說：倒在我們身上！向小山說：遮蓋我們！
31 For if men do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?"
31 푸른 나무에도 이같이 하거든 마른 나무에는 어떻게 되리요 하시니라
31. 這些事旣行在有汁水的樹上，那枯乾的樹將來怎麽樣呢？
32 Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed.
32 또 다른 두 행악자도 사형을 받게 되어 예수와 함께 끌려 가니라
32. 又有兩個犯人，和耶穌一同帶來處死。
33 When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him, along with the criminals--one on his right, the other on his left.
33 해골이라 하는 곳에 이르러 거기서 예수를 십자가에 못 박고 두 행악자도 그렇게 하니 하나는 우편에, 하나는 좌편에 있더라
33. 到了一個地方，名叫髑髏地，就在那裏把耶穌釘在十字架上，又釘了兩個犯人：一個在左邊，一個在右邊。
34 Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
34 이에 예수께서 이르시되 아버지 저들을 사하여 주옵소서 자기들이 하는 것을 알지 못함이니이다 하시더라 그들이 그의 옷을 나눠 제비 뽑을새
34. 當下耶穌說：父阿！赦免他們；因爲他們所作的，他們不曉得。兵丁就拈鬮分他的衣服。
35 The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, "He saved others; let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One."
35 백성은 서서 구경하는데 관리들은 비웃어 이르되 저가 남을 구원하였으니 만일 하나님이 택하신 자 그리스도이면 자신도 구원할지어다 하고
35. 百姓站在那裏觀看。官府也嗤笑他，說：他救了別人；他若是基督，神所揀選的，可以救自己罷！
36 The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar
36 군인들도 희롱하면서 나아와 신 포도주를 주며
36. 兵丁也戱弄他，上前拿醋送給他喝，
37 and said, "If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself."
37 이르되 네가 만일 유대인의 왕이면 네가 너를 구원하라 하더라
37. 說：你若是猶太人的王，可以救自己罷！
38 There was a written notice above him, which read: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
38 그의 위에 이는 유대인의 왕이라 쓴 패가 있더라
38. 在耶穌以上有一個牌子（有古卷在此有：用希利尼、羅馬、希伯來的文字）寫著：這是猶太人的王。
39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!"
39 달린 행악자 중 하나는 비방하여 이르되 네가 그리스도가 아니냐 너와 우리를 구원하라 하되
39. 那同釘的兩個犯人有一個譏誚他，說：你不是基督麽？可以救自己和我們罷！
40 But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence?
40 하나는 그 사람을 꾸짖어 이르되 네가 동일한 정죄를 받고서도 하나님을 두려워하지 아니하느냐
40. 那一個就應聲責備他，說：你旣是一樣受刑的，還不怕神麽？
41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong."
41 우리는 우리가 행한 일에 상당한 보응을 받는 것이니 이에 당연하거니와 이 사람이 행한 것은 옳지 않은 것이 없느니라 하고
41. 我們是應該的，因我們所受的與我們所作的相稱，但這個人沒有作過一件不好的事。
42 Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
42 이르되 예수여 당신의 나라에 임하실 때에 나를 거억하소서 하니
42. 就說：耶穌阿，你得國降臨的時候，求你記念我！
43 Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."
43 예수께서 이르시되 내가 진실로 네게 이르노니 오늘 네가 나와 함께 낙원에 있으리라 하시니라
43. 耶穌對他說：我實在告訴你，今日你要同我在樂園裏了。
44 It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour,
44 때가 제육시쯤 되어 해가 빛을 잃고 온 땅에 어둠이 임하여 제구시까지 계속하며
44. 那時約有午正，遍地都黑暗了，直到申初，
45 for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.
45 성소의 휘장이 한가운데가 찢어지더라
45. 日頭變黑了；殿裏的幔子從當中裂爲兩半。
46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last.
46 예수께서 큰 소리로 불러 이르시되 아버지 내 영혼을 아버지 손에 부탁하나이다 하고 이 말씀을 하신 후 숨지시니라
46. 耶穌大聲喊著說：父阿！我將我的靈魂交在你手裏。說了這話，氣就斷了。
47 The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, "Surely this was a righteous man."
47 백부장이 그 된 일을 보고 하나님께 영광을 돌려 이르되 이 사람은 정녕 의인이었도다 하고
47. 百夫長看見所成的事，就歸榮耀與神，說：這眞是個義人！
48 When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away.
48 이를 구경하러 모인 무리도 그 된 일을 보고 다 가슴을 치며 돌아가고
48. 聚集觀看的衆人見了這所成的事都捶著胸回去了。
49 But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.
49 예수를 아는 자들과 갈릴리로부터 따라온 여자들도 다 멀리 서서 이 일을 보니라
49. 還有一切與耶穌熟識的人，和從加利利跟著他來的婦女們，都遠遠的站著看這些事。
50 Now there was a man named Joseph, a member of the Council, a good and upright man,
50 공회 의원으로 선하고 의로운 요셉이라 하는 사람이 있으니
50. 有一個人名叫約瑟，是個議士，爲人善良公義；
51 (그들의 결의와 행사에 찬성하지 아니한 자라) 그는 유대인의 동네 아리마대 사람이요 하나님의 나라를 기다리는 자라
51 who had not consented to their decision and action. He came from the Judean town of Arimathea and he was waiting for the kingdom of God.
51. 衆人所謀所爲，他並沒有附從。他本是猶太、亞利馬太城裏素常盼望神國的人。
52 Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus' body.
52 그가 빌라도에게 가서 예수의 시체를 달라 하여
52. 這人去見彼拉多，求耶穌的身體，
53 Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen cloth and placed it in a tomb cut in the rock, one in which no one had yet been laid.
53 이를 내려 세마포로 싸고 아직 사람을 장사한 일이 없는 바위에 판 무덤에 넣어 두니
53. 就取下來，用細麻布裹好，安放在石頭鑿成的墳墓裏；那裏頭從來沒有葬過人。
54 It was Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was about to begin.
54 이 날은 준비일이요 안식일이 거의 되었더라
54. 那日是豫備日，安息日也快到了。
55 The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed Joseph and saw the tomb and how his body was laid in it.
55 갈릴리에서 예수와 함께 온 여자들이 뒤를 따라 그 무덤과 그의 시체를 어떻게 두었는지를 보고
55. 那些從加利利和耶穌同來的婦女跟在後面，看見了墳墓和他的身體怎樣安放。
56 Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes. But they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment.
56 돌아가 향품과 향유를 준비하더라 계명을 따라 안식일에 쉬더라
56. 他們就回去，豫備了香料香膏。他們在安息日，便遵著誡命安息了。
