1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
1 그러므로 남을 판단하는 사람아, 누구를 막론하고 네가 핑계하지 못할 것은 남을 판단하는 것으로 네가 너를 정죄함이니 판단하는 네가 같은 일을 행함이니라
1. 你這論斷人的，無論你是誰，也無可推諉。你在甚麽事上論斷人，就在甚麽事上定自己的罪；因你這論斷人的，己所行卻和別人一樣。
2 Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.
2 이런 일을 행하는 자에게 하나님의 심판이 진리대로 되는 줄 우리가 아노라
2. 我們知道這樣行的人，神必照眞理審判他。
3 So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment?
3 이런 일을 행하는 자를 판단하고도 같은 일을 행하는 사람아, 네가 하나님의 심판을 피할 줄로 생각하느냐
3. 你這人哪，你論斷行這樣事的人，自己所行的卻和別人一樣，你以爲能逃脫神的審判麽？
4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?
4 혹 네가 하나님의 인자하심이 너를 인도하여 회개하게 하심을 알지 못하여 그의 인자하심과 용납하심과 길이 참으심이 풍성함을 멸시하느냐
4. 還是你藐視他豐富的恩慈、寬容、忍耐，不曉得他的恩慈是領你悔改呢？
5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.
5 다만 네 고집과 회개하지 아니한 마음을 따라 진노의 날 곧 하나님의 의로우신 심판이 나타나는 그 날에 임할 진노를 네게 쌓는도다
5. 你竟任著你剛硬不悔改的心，爲自己積蓄忿怒，以致神震怒，顯他公義審判的日子來到。
6 God "will give to each person according to what he has done."
6 하나님께서 각 사람에게 그 행한 대로 보응하시되
6. 他必照各人的行爲報應各人。
7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
7 참고 선을 행하여 영광과 존귀와 썩지 아니함을 구하는 자에게는 영생으로 하시고
7. 凡恆心行善、尋求榮耀、尊貴，和不能朽壞之福的，就以永生報應他們；
8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
8 오직 당을 지어 진리를 따르지 아니하고 불의를 따르는 자에게는 진노와 분노로 하시리라
8. 惟有結黨、不順從眞理、反順從不義的，就以忿怒、惱恨報應他們。
9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;
9 악을 행하는 각 사람의 영에는 환난과 곤고가 있으리니 먼저는 유대인에게요 그리고 헬라인에게며
9. 將患難、困苦加給一切作惡的人，先是猶太人，後是希利尼人；
10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
10 선을 행하는 사람에게는 영광과 존귀와 평강이 있으리니 먼저는 유대인에게요 그리고 헬라인에게라
10. 卻將榮耀、尊貴、平安加給一切行善的人，先是猶太人，後是希利尼人。
11 For God does not show favoritism.
11 이는 하나님께서 외모로 사람을 취하지 아니하심이라
11. 因爲神不偏待人。
12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
12 무릇 율법 없이 범죄한 자는 또한 율법 없이 망하고 무릇 율법이 있고 범죄한 자는 율법으로 말미암아 심판을 받으리라
12. 凡沒有律法犯了罪的，也必不按律法滅亡；凡在律法以下犯了罪的，也必按律法受審判。
13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
13 하나님 앞에서는 율법을 듣는 자가 의인이 아니요 오직 율법을 행하는 자라야 의롭다 하심을 얻으리니
13. （原來在神面前，不是聽律法的爲義，乃是行律法的稱義。
14 (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law,
14 (율법 없는 이방인이 본성으로 율법의 일을 행할 때에는 이 사람은 율법이 없어도 자기가 자기에게 율법이 되나니
14. 沒有律法的外邦人若順著本性行律法上的事，他們雖然沒有律法，自己就是自己的律法。
15 since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)
15 이런 이들은 그 양심이 증거가 되어 그 생각들이 서로 혹은 고발하며 혹은 변명하여 그 마음에 새긴 율법의 행위를 나타내느니라)
15. 這是顯出律法的功用刻在他們心裏，他們是非之心同作見證，並且他們的思念互相較量，或以爲是，或以爲非。）
16 This will take place on the day when God will judge men's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.
16 곧 나의 복음에 이른 바와 같이 하나님이 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 사람들의 은밀한 것을 심판하시는 그 날이라
16. 就在神藉耶穌基督審判人隱袐事的日子，照著我的福音所言。
17 Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and brag about your relationship to God;
17 유대인이라 불리는 네가 율법을 의지하며 하나님을 자랑하며
17. 你稱爲猶太人，又倚靠律法，且指著神誇口；
18 if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law;
18 율법의 교훈을 받아 하나님의 뜻을 알고 지극히 선한 것을 분간하며
18. 旣從律法中受了敎訓，就曉得神的旨意，也能分別是非（或作：也喜愛那美好的事）；
19 if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark,
19 맹인의 길을 인도하는 자요 어둠에 있는 자의 빛이요
19. 又深信自己是給瞎子領路的，是黑暗中人的光，
20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth--
20 율법에 있는 지식과 진리의 모본을 가진 자로서 어리석은 자의 교사요 어린 아이의 선생이라고 스스로 믿으니
20. 是蠢笨人的師傅，是小孩子的先生，在律法上有知識和眞理的模範。
21 you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?
21 그러면 다른 사람을 가르치는 네가 네 자신은 가르치지 아니하느냐 도둑질하지 말라 선포하는 네가 도둑질하느냐
21. 你旣是敎導別人，還不敎導自己麽？你講說人不可偸竊，自己還偸竊麽？
22 You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
22 간음하지 말라 말하는 네가 간음하느냐 우상을 가증히 여기는 네가 신전 물건을 도둑질하느냐
22. 你說人不可姦淫，自己還姦淫麽？你厭惡偶像，自己還偸竊廟中之物麽？
23 You who brag about the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?
23 율법을 자랑하는 네가 율법을 범함으로 하나님을 욕되게 하느냐
23. 你指著律法誇口，自己倒犯律法，玷辱神麽？
24 As it is written: "God's name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you."
24 기록된 바와 같이 하나님의 이름이 너희 때문에 이방인 중에서 모독을 받는도다
24. 神的名在外邦人中，因你們受了褻瀆，正如經上所記的。
25 Circumcision has value if you observe the law, but if you break the law, you have become as though you had not been circumcised.
25 네가 율법을 행하면 할례가 유익하나 만일 율법을 범하면 네 할례는 무할례가 되느니라
25. 你若是行律法的，割禮固然於你有益；若是犯律法的，你的割禮就算不得割禮。
26 If those who are not circumcised keep the law's requirements, will they not be regarded as though they were circumcised?
26 그런즉 무할례자가 율법의 규례를 지키면 그 무할례를 할례와 같이 여길 것이 아니냐
26. 所以那未受割禮的，若遵守律法的條例，他雖然未受割禮，豈不算是有割禮麽？
27 The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.
27 또한 본래 무할례자가 율법을 온전히 지키면 율법 조문과 할례를 가지고 율법을 범하는 너를 정죄하지 아니하겠느냐
27. 而且那本來未受割禮的，若能全守律法，豈不是要審判你這有儀文和割禮竟犯律法的人麽？
28 A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical.
28 무릇 표면적 유대인이 유대인이 아니요 표면적 육신의 할례가 할례가 아니니라
28. 因爲外面作猶太人的，不是眞猶太人；外面肉身的割禮，也不是眞割禮。
29 No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God.
29 오직 이면적 유대인이 유대인이며 할례는 마음에 할지니 영에 있고 율법 조문에 있지 아니한 것이라 그 칭찬이 사람에게서가 아니요 다만 하나님에게서니라
29. 惟有裏面作的，纔是眞猶太人；眞割禮也是心裏的，在乎靈，不在乎儀文。這人的稱讚不是從人來的，乃是從神的。
