1 These are the decrees and laws you must be careful to follow in the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess--as long as you live in the land.
1 네 조상의 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주셔서 차지하게 하신 땅에서 너희가 평생에 지켜 행할 규례와 법도는 이러하니라
1. 你們存活於世的日子，在耶和華─你們列祖的神所賜你們爲業的地上，要謹守遵行的律例典章乃是這些：
2 Destroy completely all the places on the high mountains and on the hills and under every spreading tree where the nations you are dispossessing worship their gods.
2 너희가 쫓아낼 민족들이 그들의 신들을 섬기는 곳은 높은 산이든지 작은 산이든지 푸른 나무 아래든지를 막론하고 그 모든 곳을 너희가 마땅히 파멸하며
2. 你們要將所趕出的國民事奉神的各地方，無論是在高山，在小山，在各靑翠樹下，都毁壞了；
3 Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and burn their Asherah poles in the fire; cut down the idols of their gods and wipe out their names from those places.
3 그 제단을 헐며 주상을 깨뜨리며 아세라 상을 불사르고 또 그 조각한 신상들을 찍어 그 이름을 그 곳에서 멸하라
3. 也要拆毁他們的祭壇，打碎他們的柱像，用火焚燒他們的木偶，砍下他們雕刻的神像，並將其名從那地方除滅。
4 You must not worship the LORD your God in their way.
4 너희의 하나님 여호와께는 너희가 그처럼 행하지 말고
4. 你們不可照他們那樣事奉耶和華─你們的神。
5 But you are to seek the place the LORD your God will choose from among all your tribes to put his Name there for his dwelling. To that place you must go;
5 오직 너희의 하나님 여호와께서 자기의 이름을 두시려고 너희 모든 지파 중에서 택하신 곳인 그 계실 곳으로 찾아 나아가서
5. 但耶和華─你們的神從你們各支派中選擇何處爲立他名的居所，你們就當往那裏去求問，
6 there bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks.
6 너희의 번제와 너희의 제물과 너희의 십일조와 너희 손의 거제와 너희의 서원제와 낙헌 예물과 너희 소와 양의 처음 난 것들을 너희는 그리로 가져다가 드리고
6. 將你們的燔祭、平安祭、十分取一之物，和手中的擧祭，並還願祭、甘心祭，以及牛群羊群中頭生的，都奉到那。
7 There, in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the LORD your God has blessed you.
7 거기 곧 너희의 하나님 여호와 앞에서 먹고 너희의 하나님 여호와께서 너희의 손으로 수고한 일에 복 주심으로 말미암아 너희와 너희의 가족이 즐거워할지니라
7. 在那裏，耶和華─你們神的面前，你們和你們的家屬都可以喫，並且因你手所辦的一切事蒙耶和華─你的神賜福就都歡樂。
8 You are not to do as we do here today, everyone as he sees fit,
8 우리가 오늘 여기에서는 각기 소견대로 하였거니와 너희가 거기에서는 그렇게 하지 말지니라
8. 我們今日在這裏所行的是各人行自己眼中看爲正的事，你們將來不可這樣行；
9 since you have not yet reached the resting place and the inheritance the LORD your God is giving you.
9 너희가 너희 하나님 여호와께서 주시는 안식과 기업에 아직은 이르지 못하였거니와
9. 因爲你們還沒有到耶和華─你神所賜你的安息地，所給你的産業。
10 But you will cross the Jordan and settle in the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, and he will give you rest from all your enemies around you so that you will live in safety.
10 너희가 요단을 건너 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 기업으로 주시는 땅에 거주하게 될 때 또는 여호와께서 너희에게 너희 주위의 모든 대적을 이기게 하시고 너희에게 안식을 주사 너희를 평안히 거주하게 하실 때에
10. 但你們過了約但河，得以住在耶和華─你們神使你們承受爲業之地，又使你們太平，不被四圍的一切仇敵擾亂，然居住。
11 Then to the place the LORD your God will choose as a dwelling for his Name--there you are to bring everything I command you: your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, and all the choice possessions you have vowed to the LORD.
11 너희는 너희의 하나님 여호와께서 자기 이름을 두시려고 택하실 그 곳으로 내가 명령하는 것을 모두 가지고 갈지니 곧 너희의 번제와 너희의 희생과 너희의 십일조와 너희 손의 거제와 너희가 여호와께서 원하시는 모든 아름다운 서원물을 가져가고
11. 那時要將我所吩咐你們的燔祭、平安祭、十分取一之物，和手中的擧祭，並向耶和華許願獻的一切美祭，都奉到和華─你們神所選擇要立爲他名的居所。
12 And there rejoice before the LORD your God, you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the Levites from your towns, who have no allotment or inheritance of their own.
12 너희와 너희의 자녀와 노비와 함께 너희의 하나님 여호와 앞에서 즐거워할 것이요 네 성중에 있는 레위인과도 그리할지니 레위인은 너희 중에 분깃이나 기업이 없음이니라
12. 你們和兒女、僕婢，並住在你們城裏無分無業的利未人，都要在耶和華─你們的神面前歡樂。
13 Be careful not to sacrifice your burnt offerings anywhere you please.
13 너는 삼가서 네게 보이는 아무 곳에서나 번제를 드리지 말고
13. 你要謹愼，不可在你所看中的各處獻燔祭。
14 Offer them only at the place the LORD will choose in one of your tribes, and there observe everything I command you.
14 오직 너희의 한 지파 중에 여호와께서 택하실 그 곳에서 번제를 드리고 또 내가 네게 명령하는 모든 것을 거기서 행할지니라
14. 惟獨耶和華從你那一支派中所選擇的地方，你就要在那裏獻燔祭，行我一切所吩咐你的。
15 Nevertheless, you may slaughter your animals in any of your towns and eat as much of the meat as you want, as if it were gazelle or deer, according to the blessing the LORD your God gives you. Both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat it.
15 그러나 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주신 복을 따라 각 성에서 네 마음에 원하는 대로 가축을 잡아 그 고기를 먹을 수 있나니 곧 정한 자나 부정한 자를 막론하고 노루나 사슴을 먹는 것 같이 먹으려니와
15. 然而，在你各城裏都可以照耶和華─你神所賜你的福分，隨心所欲宰牲喫肉；無論潔淨人不潔淨人都可以喫，就喫羚羊與鹿一般。
16 But you must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water.
16 오직 그 피는 먹지 말고 물 같이 땅에 쏟을 것이며
16. 只是不可喫血，要倒在地上，如同倒水一樣。
17 You must not eat in your own towns the tithe of your grain and new wine and oil, or the firstborn of your herds and flocks, or whatever you have vowed to give, or your freewill offerings or special gifts.
17 너는 곡식과 포도주와 기름의 십일조와 네 소와 양의 처음 난 것과 네 서원을 갚는 예물과 네 낙헌 예물과 네 손의 거제물은 네 각 성에서 먹지 말고
17. 你的五穀、新酒，和油的十分之一，或是牛群羊群中頭生的，或是你許願獻的，甘心獻的，或是手中的擧祭，都可在你城裏喫。
18 Instead, you are to eat them in the presence of the LORD your God at the place the LORD your God will choose--you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the Levites from your towns--and you are to rejoice before the LORD your God in everything you put your hand to.
18 오직 네 하나님 여호와께서 택하실 곳에서 네 하나님 여호와 앞에서 너는 네 자녀와 노비와 성중에 거주하는 레위인과 함께 그것을 먹고 또 네 손으로 수고한 모든 일로 말미암아 네 하나님 여호와 앞에서 즐거워하되
18. 但要在耶和華─你的神面前喫，在耶和華─你神所要選擇的地方，你和兒女、僕婢，並住在你城裏的利未人，都以喫；也要因你手所辦的，在耶和華─你神面前歡樂。
19 Be careful not to neglect the Levites as long as you live in your land.
19 너는 삼가 네 땅에 거주하는 동안에 레위인을 저버리지 말지니라
19. 你要謹愼，在你所住的地方永不可丢棄利未人。
20 When the LORD your God has enlarged your territory as he promised you, and you crave meat and say, "I would like some meat," then you may eat as much of it as you want.
20 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 허락하신 대로 네 지경을 넓히신 후에 네 마음에 고기를 먹고자 하여 이르기를 내가 고기를 먹으리라 하면 네가 언제나 마음에 원하는 만큼 고기를 먹을 수 있으리니
20. 耶和華─你的神照他所應許擴張你境界的時候，你心裏想要喫肉，說：我要喫肉，就可以隨心所欲地喫肉。
21 If the place where the LORD your God chooses to put his Name is too far away from you, you may slaughter animals from the herds and flocks the LORD has given you, as I have commanded you, and in your own towns you may eat as much of them as you want.
21 만일 네 하나님 여호와께서 자기 이름을 두시려고 택하신 곳이 네게서 멀거든 내가 네게 명령한 대로 너는 여호와께서 주신 소와 양을 잡아 네 각 성에서 네가 마음에 원하는 모든 것을 먹되
21. 耶和華─你神所選擇要立他名的地方若離你太遠，就可以照我所吩咐的，將耶和華賜給你的牛羊取些宰了，可以心所欲在你城裏喫。
22 Eat them as you would gazelle or deer. Both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat.
22 정한 자나 부정한 자를 막론하고 노루나 사슴을 먹는 것 같이 먹을 수 있거니와
22. 你喫那肉，要像喫羚羊與鹿一般；無論潔淨人不潔淨人都可以喫。
23 But be sure you do not eat the blood, because the blood is the life, and you must not eat the life with the meat.
23 다만 크게 삼가서 그 피는 먹지 말라 피는 그 생명인즉 네가 그 생명을 고기와 함께 먹지 못하리니
23. 只是你要心意堅定，不可喫血，因爲血是生命；不可將血（原文作生命）與肉同喫。
24 You must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water.
24 너는 그것을 먹지 말고 물 같이 땅에 쏟으라
24. 不可喫血，要倒在地上，如同倒水一樣。
25 Do not eat it, so that it may go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is right in the eyes of the LORD.
25 너는 피를 먹지 말라 네가 이같이 여호와께서 의롭게 여기시는 일을 행하면 너와 네 후손이 복을 누리리라
25. 不可喫血。這樣，你行耶和華眼中看爲正的事，你和你的子孫就可以得福。
26 But take your consecrated things and whatever you have vowed to give, and go to the place the LORD will choose.
26 오직 네 성물과 서원물을 여호와께서 택하신 곳으로 가지고 가라
26. 只是你分別爲聖的物和你的還願祭要奉到耶和華所選擇的地方去。
27 Present your burnt offerings on the altar of the LORD your God, both the meat and the blood. The blood of your sacrifices must be poured beside the altar of the LORD your God, but you may eat the meat.
27 네가 번제를 드릴 때에는 그 고기와 피를 네 하나님 여호와의 제단에 드릴 것이요 네 제물의 피는 네 하나님 여호와의 제단 위에 붓고 그 고기는 먹을지니라
27. 你的燔祭，連肉帶血，都要獻在耶和華─你神的壇上。平安祭的血要倒在耶和華─你神的壇上；平安祭的肉，你己可以喫。
28 Be careful to obey all these regulations I am giving you, so that it may always go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is good and right in the eyes of the LORD your God.
28 내가 네게 명령하는 이 모든 말을 너는 듣고 지키라 네 하나님 여호와의 목전에 선과 의를 행하면 너와 네 후손에게 영구히 복이 있으리라
28. 你要謹守聽從我所吩咐的一切話，行耶和華─你神眼中看爲善，看爲正的事。這樣，你和你的子孫就可以永遠享。
29 The LORD your God will cut off before you the nations you are about to invade and dispossess. But when you have driven them out and settled in their land,
29 네 하나님 여호와께서 네가 들어가서 쫓아낼 그 민족들을 네 앞에서 멸절하시고 네가 그 땅을 차지하여 거기에 거주하게 하실 때에
29. 耶和華─你神將你要去趕出的國民從你面前剪除，你得了他們的地居住，
30 and after they have been destroyed before you, be careful not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods, saying, "How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same."
30 너는 스스로 삼가 네 앞에서 멸망한 그들의 자취를 밟아 올무에 걸리지 말라 또 그들의 신을 탐구하여 이르기를 이 민족들은 그 신들을 어떻게 섬겼는고 나도 그와 같이 하겠다 하지 말라
30. 那時就要謹愼，不可在他們除滅之後隨從他們的惡俗，陷入網羅，也不可訪問他們的神說：這些國民怎樣事奉他的神，我也要照樣行。
31 You must not worship the LORD your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods.
31 네 하나님 여호와께는 네가 그와 같이 행하지 못할 것이라 그들은 여호와께서 꺼리시며 가증히 여기시는 일을 그들의 신들에게 행하여 심지어 자기들의 자녀를 불살라 그들의 신들에게 드렸느니라
31. 你不可向耶和華─你的神這樣行，因爲他們向他們的神行了耶和華所憎嫌所恨惡的一切事，甚至將自己的兒女用焚燒，獻與他們的神。
32 See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.
32 내가 너희에게 명령하는 이 모든 말을 너희는 지켜 행하고 그것에 가감하지 말지니라
32. 凡我所吩咐的，你們都要謹守遵行，不可加添，也不可刪減。
