1 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials so that I may perform these miraculous signs of mine among them
1 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 바로에게로 들어가라 내가 그의 마음과 그의 신하들의 마음을 완강하게 함은 나의 표징을 그들 중에 보이기 위함이며
1. 耶和華對摩西說：你進去見法老。我使他和他臣僕的心剛硬，爲要在他們中間顯我這些神蹟，
2 that you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the LORD."
2 네게 내가 애굽에서 행한 일들 곧 내가 그들 가운데에서 행한 표징을 네 아들과 네 자손의 귀에 전하기 위함이라 너희는 내가 여호와인 줄을 알리라
2. 並要叫你將我向埃及人所作的事，和在他們中間所行的神蹟，傳於你兒子和你孫子的耳中，好叫你們知道我是耶華。
3 So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said to him, "This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: 'How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, so that they may worship me.
3 모세와 아론이 바로에게 들어가서 그에게 이르되 히브리 사람의 하나님 여호와께서 말씀하시기를 네가 어느 때가지 내 앞에 겸비하지 아니하겠느냐 내 백성을 보내라 그들이 나를 섬길 것이라
3. 摩西、亞倫就進去見法老，對他說：耶和華─希伯來人的神這樣說：你在我面前不肯自卑要到幾時呢？容我的百去，好事奉我。
4 If you refuse to let them go, I will bring locusts into your country tomorrow.
4 네가 만일 내 백성 보내기를 거절하면 내일 내가 메뚜기를 네 경내에 들어가게 하리니
4. 你若不肯容我的百姓去，明天我要使蝗蟲進入你的境內，
5 They will cover the face of the ground so that it cannot be seen. They will devour what little you have left after the hail, including every tree that is growing in your fields.
5 메뚜기가 지면을 덮어서 사람이 땅을 볼 수 없을 것이라 메뚜기가 네게 남은 그것 곧 우박을 면하고 남은 것을 먹으며 너희를 위하여 들에서 자라나는 모든 나무를 먹을 것이며
5. 遮滿地面，甚至看不見地，並且喫那冰雹所剩的和田間所長的一切樹木。
6 They will fill your houses and those of all your officials and all the Egyptians--something neither your fathers nor your forefathers have ever seen from the day they settled in this land till now.'" Then Moses turned and left Pharaoh.
6 또 네 집들과 네 모든 신하의 집들과 모든 애굽 사람의 집들에 가득하리니 이는 네 아버지와 네 조상이 이 땅에 있었던 그 날로부터 오늘까지 보지 못하였던 것이리라 하셨다 하고 돌이켜 바로에게서 나오니
6. 你的宮殿和你衆臣僕的房屋，並一切埃及人的房屋，都要被蝗蟲佔滿了；自從你祖宗和你祖宗的祖宗在世以來，到今日，沒有見過這樣的災。摩西就轉身離開法老出去。
7 Pharaoh's officials said to him, "How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the people go, so that they may worship the LORD their God. Do you not yet realize that Egypt is ruined?"
7 바로의 신하들이 그에게 말하되 어느 때까지 이 사람이 우리의 함정이 되리이까 그 사람들을 보내어 그들의 하나님 여호와를 섬기게 하소서 왕은 아직도 애굽이 망한 줄을 알지 못하시나이까 하고
7. 法老的臣僕對法老說：這人爲我們的網羅要到幾時呢？容這些人去事奉耶和華─他們的神罷！埃及已經敗壞了，還不知道麽？
8 Then Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh. "Go, worship the LORD your God," he said. "But just who will be going?"
8 모세와 아론을 바로에게로 다시 데려오니 바로가 그들에게 이르되 가서 너희의 하나님 여호와를 섬기라 갈 자는 누구 누구냐
8. 於是摩西、亞倫被召回來見法老；法老對他們說：你們去事奉耶和華─你們的神；但那要去的是誰呢？
9 Moses answered, "We will go with our young and old, with our sons and daughters, and with our flocks and herds, because we are to celebrate a festival to the LORD."
9 모세가 이르되 우리가 여호와 앞에 절기를 지킬 것인즉 우리가 남녀 노소와 양과 소를 데리고 가겠나이다
9. 摩西說：我們要和我們老的少的、兒子女兒同去，且把羊群牛群一同帶去，因爲我們務要向耶和華守節。
10 Pharaoh said, "The LORD be with you--if I let you go, along with your women and children! Clearly you are bent on evil.
10 바로가 그들에게 이르되 내가 너희와 너희의 어린 아이들을 보내면 여호와가 너희와 함께 함과 같으니라 보라 그것이 너희에게는 나쁜 것이니라
10. 法老對他們說：我容你們和你們婦人孩子去的時候，耶和華與你們同在罷！你們要謹愼；因爲有禍在你們眼前（作：你們存著惡意），
11 No! Have only the men go; and worship the LORD, since that's what you have been asking for." Then Moses and Aaron were driven out of Pharaoh's presence.
11 그렇게 하지 말고 너희 장정만 가서 여호와를 섬기라 이것이 너희가 구하는 바니라 이에 그들이 바로 앞에서 쫓겨나니라
11. 不可都去！你們這壯年人去事奉耶和華罷，因爲這是你們所求的。於是把他們從法老面前攆出去。
12 And the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over Egypt so that locusts will swarm over the land and devour everything growing in the fields, everything left by the hail."
12 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 애굽 땅 위에 네 손을 내밀어 메뚜기를 애굽 땅에 올라오게 하여 우박에 상하지 아니한 밭의 모든 채소를 먹게 하라
12. 耶和華對摩西說：你向埃及地伸杖，使蝗蟲到埃及地上來，喫地上一切的菜蔬，就是冰雹所剩的。
13 So Moses stretched out his staff over Egypt, and the LORD made an east wind blow across the land all that day and all that night. By morning the wind had brought the locusts;
13 모세가 애굽 땅 위에 그 지팡이를 들매 여호와께서 동풍을 일으켜 온 낮과 온 밤에 불게 하시니 아침이 되매 동풍이 메뚜기를 불어들인지라
13. 摩西就向埃及地伸杖，那一晝一夜，耶和華使東風颳在埃及地上；到了早晨，東風把蝗蟲颳了來。
14 they invaded all Egypt and settled down in every area of the country in great numbers. Never before had there been such a plague of locusts, nor will there ever be again.
14 메뚜기가 애굽 온 땅에 이르러 그 사방에 내리매 그 피해가 심하니 이런 메뚜기는 전에도 없었고 후에도 없을 것이라
14. 蝗蟲上來，落在埃及的四境，甚是厲害；以前沒有這樣的，以後也必沒有。
15 They covered all the ground until it was black. They devoured all that was left after the hail--everything growing in the fields and the fruit on the trees. Nothing green remained on tree or plant in all the land of Egypt.
15 메뚜기가 온 땅을 덮어 땅이 어둡게 되었으며 메뚜기가 우박에 상하지 아니한 밭의 채소와 나무 열매를 다 먹었으므로 애굽 온 땅에서 나무나 밭의 채소나 푸른 것은 남지 아니하였더라
15. 因爲這蝗蟲遮滿地面，甚至地都黑暗了，又喫地上一切的菜蔬和冰雹所剩樹上的果子。埃及遍地，無論是樹木，田間的菜蔬，連一點靑的也沒有留下。
16 Pharaoh quickly summoned Moses and Aaron and said, "I have sinned against the LORD your God and against you.
16 바로가 모세와 아론을 급히 불러 이르되 내가 너희의 하나님 여호와와 너희에게 죄를 지었으니
16. 於是法老急忙召了摩西、亞倫來，說：我得罪耶和華─你們的神，又得罪了你們。
17 Now forgive my sin once more and pray to the LORD your God to take this deadly plague away from me."
17 바라건대 이번만 나의 죄를 용서하고 너희의 하나님 여호와께 구하여 이 죽음만은 내게서 떠나게 하라
17. 現在求你，只這一次，饒恕我的罪，求耶和華─你們的神使我脫離這一次的死亡。
18 Moses then left Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD.
18 그가 바로에게서 나가서 여호와께 구하매
18. 摩西就離開法老去求耶和華。
19 And the LORD changed the wind to a very strong west wind, which caught up the locusts and carried them into the Red Sea. Not a locust was left anywhere in Egypt.
19 여호와께서 돌이켜 강렬한 서풍을 불게 하사 메뚜기를 홍해에 몰아넣으시니 애굽 온 땅에 메뚜기가 하나도 남지 아니하니라
19. 耶和華轉了極大的西風，把蝗蟲颳起，吹入紅海；在埃及的四境連一個也沒有留下。
20 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let the Israelites go.
20 그러나 여호와께서 바로의 마음을 완악하게 하셨으므로 이스라엘 자손을 보내지 아니하였더라
20. 但耶和華使法老的心剛硬，不容以色列人去。
21 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness will spread over Egypt--darkness that can be felt."
21 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 하늘을 향하여 네 손을 내밀어 애굽 땅 위에 흑암이 있게 하라 곧 더듬을 만한 흑암이리라
21. 耶和華對摩西說：你向天伸杖，使埃及地黑暗；這黑暗似乎摸得著。
22 So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness covered all Egypt for three days.
22 모세가 하늘을 향하여 손을 내밀매 캄캄한 흑암이 삼 일 동안 애굽 온 땅에 있어서
22. 摩西向天伸杖，埃及遍地就烏黑了三天。
23 No one could see anyone else or leave his place for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.
23 그 동안은 사람들이 서로 볼 수 없으며 자기 처소에서 일어나는 자가 없으되 온 이스라엘 자손들이 거주하는 곳에는 빛이 있었더라
23. 三天之久，人不能相見，誰也不敢起來離開本處；惟有以色列人家中都有亮光。
24 Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and said, "Go, worship the LORD. Even your women and children may go with you; only leave your flocks and herds behind."
24 바로가 모세를 불러서 이르되 너희는 가서 여호와를 섬기되 너희의 양과 소는 머물러 두고 너희 어린 것들은 너희와 함께 갈지니라
24. 法老就召摩西來，說：你們去事奉耶和華；只是你們的羊群牛群要留下；你們的婦人孩子可以和你們同去。
25 But Moses said, "You must allow us to have sacrifices and burnt offerings to present to the LORD our God.
25 모세가 이르되 왕이라도 우리 하나님 여호와께 드릴 제사와 번제물을 우리에게 주어야 하겠고
25. 摩西說：你總要把祭物和燔祭牲交給我們，使我們可以祭祀耶和華─我們的神。
26 Our livestock too must go with us; not a hoof is to be left behind. We have to use some of them in worshiping the LORD our God, and until we get there we will not know what we are to use to worship the LORD."
26 우리의 가축도 우리와 함께 가고 한 마리도 남길 수 없으니 이는 우리가 그 중에서 가져다가 우리 하나님 여호와를 섬길 것임이며 또 우리가 거기에 이르기까지는 어떤 것으로 여호와를 섬길는지 알지 못함이니이다 하나
26. 我們的牲畜也要帶去，連一蹄也不留下；因爲我們要從其中取出來，事奉耶和華─我們的神。我們未到那裏，還知道用甚麽事奉耶和華。
27 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he was not willing to let them go.
27 여호와께서 바로의 마음을 완악하게 하셨으므로 그들 보내기를 기뻐하지 아니하고
27. 但耶和華使法老的心剛硬，不肯容他們去。
28 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Get out of my sight! Make sure you do not appear before me again! The day you see my face you will die."
28 바로가 모세에게 이르되 너는 나를 떠나가고 스스로 삼가 다시 내 얼굴을 보지 말라 네가 내 얼굴을 보는 날에는 죽으리라
28. 法老對摩西說：你離開我去罷，你要小心，不要再見我的面！因爲你見我面的那日你就必死！
29 "Just as you say," Moses replied, "I will never appear before you again."
29 모세가 이르되 당신이 말씀하신 대로 내가 다시는 당신의 얼굴을 보지 아니하리이다
29. 摩西說：你說得好！我必不再見你的面了。
