1 When Jesus had finished saying all this in the hearing of the people, he entered Capernaum.
1 예수께서 모든 말씀을 백성에게 들려 주시기를 마치신 후에 가버나움으로 들어가시니라
1. 耶穌對百姓講完了這一切的話，就進了迦百農。
2 There a centurion's servant, whom his master valued highly, was sick and about to die.
2 어떤 백부장의 사랑하는 종이 병들어 죽게 되었더니
2. 有一個百夫長所寶貴的僕人害病，快要死了。
3 The centurion heard of Jesus and sent some elders of the Jews to him, asking him to come and heal his servant.
3 예수의 소문을 듣고 유대인의 장로 몇 사람을 예수께 보내어 오셔서 그 종을 구해 주시기를 청한지라
3. 百夫長風聞耶穌的事，就託猶太人的幾個長老去求耶穌來救他的僕人。
4 When they came to Jesus, they pleaded earnestly with him, "This man deserves to have you do this,
4 이에 그들이 예수께 나아와 간절히 구하여 이르되 이 일을 하시는 것이 이 사람에게는 합당하니이다
4. 他們到了耶穌那裏，就切切的求他說：你給他行這事是他所配得的；
5 because he loves our nation and has built our synagogue."
5 저가 우리 민족을 사랑하고 또한 우리를 위하여 회당을 지었나이다 하니
5. 因爲他愛我們的百姓，給我們建造會堂。
6 So Jesus went with them. He was not far from the house when the centurion sent friends to say to him: "Lord, don't trouble yourself, for I do not deserve to have you come under my roof.
6 예수께서 함께 가실새 이에 그 집이 멀지 아니하여 백부장이 벗들을 보내어 이르되 주여 수고하시지 마옵소서 내 집에 들어오심을 나는 감당하지 못하겠나이다
6. 耶穌就和他們同去。離那家不遠，百夫長託幾個朋友去見耶穌，對他說：主阿！不要勞動；因你到我舍下，我不當。
7 That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed.
7 그러므로 내가 주께 나아가기도 감당하지 못할 줄을 알았나이다 말씀만 하사 내 하인을 낫게 하소서
7. 我也自以爲不配去見你，只要你說一句話，我的僕人就必好了。
8 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and that one, 'Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
8 나도 남의 수하에 든 사람이요 내 아래에도 병사가 있으니 이더러 가라 하면 가고 저더러 오라 하면 오고 제 종더러 이것을 하라 하면 하나이다
8. 因爲我在人的權下，也有兵在我以下，對這個說：去！他就去；對那個說：來！他就來；對我的僕人說：你作這！他就去作。
9 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, "I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel."
9 예수께서 들으시고 그를 놀랍게 여겨 돌이키사 따르는 무리에게 이르시되 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이스라엘 중에서도 이만한 믿음은 만나보지 못하였노라 하시더라
9. 耶穌聽見這話，就希奇他，轉身對跟隨的衆人說：我告訴你們，這麽大的信心，就是在以色列中，我也沒有遇見。
10 Then the men who had been sent returned to the house and found the servant well.
10 보내었던 사람들이 집으로 돌아가 보매 종이 이미 나아있었더라
10. 那託來的人回到百夫長家裏，看見僕人已經好了。
11 Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him.
11 그 후에 예수께서 나인이란 성으로 가실새 제자와 많은 무리가 동행하더니
11. 過了不多時（有古卷：次日），耶穌往一座城去，這城名叫拿因，他的門徒和極多的人與他同行。
12 As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out--the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her.
12 성문에 가까이 이르실 때에 사람들이 한 죽은 자를 메고 나오니 이는 한 어머니의 독자요 그의 어머니는 과부라 그 성의 많은 사람도 그와 함께 나오거늘
12. 將近城門，有一個死人被抬出來。這人是他母親獨生的兒子；他母親又是寡婦。有城裏的許多人同著寡婦送殯。
13 When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry."
13 주께서 과부를 보시고 불쌍히 여기사 울지 말라 하시고
13. 主看見那寡婦，就憐憫他，對他說：不要哭！
14 Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!"
14 가까이 가서 그 관에 손을 대시니 멘 자들이 서는지라 예수께서 이르시되 청년아 내가 네게 말하노니 일어나라 하시매
14. 於是進前按著槓，抬的人就站住了。耶穌說：少年人，我吩咐你，起來！
15 The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.
15 죽었던 자가 일어나 앉고 말도 하거늘 예수께서 그를 어머니에게 주시니
15. 那死人就坐起，並且說話。耶穌便把他交給他母親。
16 They were all filled with awe and praised God. "A great prophet has appeared among us," they said. "God has come to help his people."
16 모든 사람이 두려워하며 하나님께 영광을 돌려 이르되 큰 선지자가 우리 가운데 일어나셨다 하고 또 하나님께서 자기 백성을 돌아보셨다 하더라
16. 衆人都驚奇，歸榮耀與神，說：有大先知在我們中間興起來了！又說：神眷顧了他的百姓！
17 This news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding country.
17 예수께 대한 이 소문이 온 유대와 사방에 두루 퍼지니라
17. 他這事的風聲就傳遍了猶太和周圍地方。
18 John's disciples told him about all these things. Calling two of them,
18 요한의 제자들이 이 모든 일을 그에게 알리니
18. 約翰的門徒把這些事都告訴約翰。
19 he sent them to the Lord to ask, "Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?"
19 요한이 그 제자 중 둘을 불러 주께 보내어 이르되 오실 그이가 당신이오니이까 우리가 다른 이를 기다리오리이까 하라 하매
19. 他便叫了兩個門徒來，打發他們到主那裏去，說：那將要來的是你麽？還是我們等候別人呢？
20 When the men came to Jesus, they said, "John the Baptist sent us to you to ask, 'Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?'"
20 그들이 예수께 나아가 이르되 세례 요한이 우리를 보내어 당신께 여쭈어 보라고 하기를 오실 그이가 당신이오니이까 우리가 다른 이를 기다리오리이까 하더이다 하니
20. 那兩個人來到耶穌那裏，說：施洗的約翰打發我們來問你：那將要來的是你麽？還是我們等候別人呢？
21 At that very time Jesus cured many who had diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits, and gave sight to many who were blind.
21 마침 그 때에 예수께서 질병과 고통과 및 악귀 들린 자를 많이 고치시며 또 많은 맹인을 보게 하신지라
21. 正當那時候，耶穌治好了許多有疾病的，受災患的，被惡鬼附著的，又開恩叫好些瞎子能看見。
22 So he replied to the messengers, "Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.
22 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 너희가 가서 보고 들은 것을 요한에게 알리되 맹인이 보며 못 걷는 사람이 걸으며 나병환자가 깨끗함을 받으며 귀먹은 사람이 들으며 죽은 자가 살아나며 가난한 자에게 복음이 전파된다 하라
22. 耶穌回答說：你們去，把所看見所聽見的事告訴約翰，就是瞎子看見，瘸子行走，長大痲瘋的潔淨，聾子聽見，人復活，窮人有福音傳給他們。
23 Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me."
23 누구든지 나를 인하여 실족하지 아니하는 자는 복이 있도다 하시니라
23. 凡不因我跌倒的，就有福了！
24 After John's messengers left, Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John: "What did you go out into the desert to see? A reed swayed by the wind?
24 요한이 보낸 자가 떠난 후에 예수께서 무리에게 요한에 대하여 말씀하시되 너희가 무엇을 보려고 광야에 나갔더냐 바람에 흔들리는 갈대냐
24. 約翰所差來的人旣走了，耶穌就對衆人講論約翰說：你們從前出去到曠野，是要看甚麽呢？要看風吹動的蘆葦麽？
25 If not, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No, those who wear expensive clothes and indulge in luxury are in palaces.
25 그러면 너희가 무엇을 보려고 나갔더냐 부드러운 옷 입은 사람이냐 보라 화려한 옷을 입고 사치하게 지내는 자는 왕궁에 있느니라
25. 你們出去，到底是要看甚麽？要看穿細軟衣服的人麽？那穿華麗衣服、宴樂度日的人是在王宮裏。
26 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.
26 그러면 너희가 무엇을 보려고 나갔더냐 선지자냐 옳다 내가 너희에게 이르노니 선지자보다도 훌륭한 자니라
26. 你們出去，究竟是要看甚麽？要看先知麽？我告訴你們，是的，他比先知大多了。
27 This is the one about whom it is written: "'I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.'
27 기록된 바 보라 내가 내 사자를 네 앞에 보내노니 그가 네 앞에서 네 길을 준비하리라 한 것이 이 사람에 대한 말씀이라
27. 經上記著說：我要差遣我的使者在你前面豫備道路，所說的就是這個人。
28 I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he."
28 내가 너희에게 말하노니 여자가 낳은 자 중에 요한보다 큰 자가 없도다 그러나 하나님의 나라에서는 극히 작은 자라도 그보다 크니라 하시니
28. 我告訴你們，凡婦人所生的，沒有一個大過約翰的；然而神國裏最小的比他還大。
29 (All the people, even the tax collectors, when they heard Jesus' words, acknowledged that God's way was right, because they had been baptized by John.
29 모든 백성과 세리들은 이미 요한의 세례를 받은지라 이 말씀을 듣고 하나님을 의롭다 하되
29. 衆百姓和稅吏旣受過約翰的洗，聽見這話，就以神爲義；
30 But the Pharisees and experts in the law rejected God's purpose for themselves, because they had not been baptized by John.)
30 바리새인과 율법교사들은 그의 세례를 받지 아니하므로 그들 자신을 위한 하나님의 뜻을 저버리니라
30. 但法利賽人和律法師沒有受過約翰的洗，竟爲自己廢棄了神的旨意。（29，30兩節或作：衆百姓和稅吏聽見了約的話，就受了他的洗，便以神爲義；但法利賽人和律法不受約翰的洗，竟爲自己廢棄了神的旨意。）
31 "To what, then, can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like?
31 또 이르시되 이 세대의 사람을 무엇으로 비유할까 무엇과 같은가
31. 主又說：這樣，我可用甚麽比這世代的人呢？他們好像甚麽呢？
32 They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other: "'We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not cry.'
32 비유하건대 아이들이 장터에 앉아 서로 불러 이르되 우리가 너희를 향하여 피리를 불어도 너희가 춤추지 않고 우리가 곡하여도 너희가 울지 아니하였다 함과 같도다
32. 好像孩童坐在街市上，彼此呼叫說：我們向你們吹笛，你們不跳舞；我們向你們擧哀，你們不啼哭。
33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, 'He has a demon.'
33 세례 요한이 와서 떡도 먹지 아니하며 포도주도 마시지 아니하매 너희 말이 귀신이 들렸다 하더니
33. 施洗的約翰來，不喫餅，不喝酒，你們說他是被鬼附著的。
34 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners." '
34 인자는 와서 먹고 마시매 너희 말이 보라 먹기를 탐하고 포도주를 즐기는 사람이요 세리와 죄인의 친구로다 하니
34. 人子來，也喫也喝，你們說他是貪食好酒的人，是稅吏和罪人的朋友。
35 But wisdom is proved right by all her children."
35 지혜는 자기의 모든 자녀로 인하여 옳다 함을 얻느니라
35. 但智慧之子都以智慧爲是。
36 Now one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, so he went to the Pharisee's house and reclined at the table.
36 한 바리새인이 예수께 자기와 함께 잡수시기를 청하니 이에 바리새인의 집에 들어가 앉으셨을 때에
36. 有一個法利賽人請耶穌和他喫飯；耶穌就到法利賽人家裏去坐席。
37 When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume,
37 그 동네에 죄를 지은 한 여자가 있어 예수께서 바리새인의 집에 앉아 계심을 알고 향유 담은 옥합을 가지고 와서
37. 那城裏有一個女人，是個罪人，知道耶穌在法利賽人家裏坐席，就拿著盛香膏的玉甁，
38 and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.
38 예수의 뒤로 그 발 곁에 서서 울며 눈물로 그 발을 적시고 자기 머리털로 닦고 그 발에 입맞추고 향유를 부으니
38. 站在耶穌背後，挨著他的脚哭，眼淚溼了耶穌的脚，就用自己的頭髮擦乾，又用嘴連連親他的脚，把香膏抹上。
39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is--that she is a sinner."
39 예수를 청한 바리새인이 이것을 보고 마음에 이르되 이 사람이 만일 선지자더면 자기를 만지는 이 여자가 누구며 어떠한 자 곧 죄인인 줄을 알았으리라 하거늘
39. 請耶穌的法利賽人看見這事，心裏說：這人若是先知，必知道摸他的是誰，是個怎樣的女人，乃是個罪人。
40 Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to tell you." "Tell me, teacher," he said.
40 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 시몬아 내가 네게 이를 말이 있다 하시니 그가 이르되 선생님 말씀하소서
40. 耶穌對他說：西門！我有句話要對你說。西門說：夫子，請說。
41 "Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.
41 이르시되 빚 주는 사람에게 빚진 자가 둘이 있어 하나는 오백 데나리온을 졌고 하나는 오십 데나리온을 졌는데
41. 耶穌說：一個債主有兩個人欠他的債；一個欠五十兩銀子，一個欠五兩銀子；
42 Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?"
42 갚을 것이 없으므로 둘 다 탕감하여 주었으니 둘 중에 누가 그를 더 사랑하겠느냐
42. 因爲他們無力償還，債主就開恩免了他們兩個人的債。這兩個人那一個更愛他呢？
43 Simon replied, "I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled." "You have judged correctly," Jesus said.
43 시몬이 대답하여 이르되 내 생각에는 많이 탕감함을 받은 자니이다 이르시되 네 판단이 옳다 하시고
43. 西門回答說：我想是那多得恩免的人。耶穌說：你斷的不錯。
44 Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.
44 그 여자를 돌아보시며 시몬에게 이르시되 이 여자를 보느냐 내가 네 집에 들어올 때 너는 내게 발 씻을 물도 주지 아니하였으되 이 여자는 눈물로 내 발을 적시고 그 머리털로 닦았으며
44. 於是轉過來向著那女人，便對西門說：你看見這女人麽？我進了你的家，你沒有給我水洗脚；但這女人用眼淚溼我的脚，用頭髮擦乾。
45 You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet.
45 너는 내게 입맞추지 아니하였으되 그는 내가 들어올 때로부터 내 발에 입맞추기를 그치지 아니하였으며
45. 你沒有與我親嘴；但這女人從我進來的時候就不住的用嘴親我的脚。
46 You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet.
46 너는 내 머리에 감람유도 붓지 아니하였으되 그는 향유를 내 발에 부었느니라
46. 你沒有用油抹我的頭；但這女人用香膏抹我的脚。
47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven--for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."
47 이러므로 내가 네게 말하노니 그의 많은 죄가 사하여졌도다 이는 그의 사랑함이 많음이라 사함을 받은 일이 적은 자는 적게 사랑하느니라
47. 所以我告訴你，他許多的罪都赦免了，因爲他的愛多；但那赦免少的，他的愛就少。
48 Then Jesus said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."
48 이에 여자에게 이르시되 네 죄사함을 받았느니라 하시니
48. 於是對那女人說：你的罪赦免了。
49 The other guests began to say among themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?"
49 함께 앉아 있는 자들이 속으로 말하되 이가 누구이기에 죄도 사하는가 하더라
49. 同席的人心裏說：這是甚麽人，竟赦免人的罪呢？
50 Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."
50 예수께서 여자에게 이르시되 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였으니 평안히 가라 하시니라
50. 耶穌對那女人說：你的信救了你；平平安安的回去罷！
