1 A song of ascents. Of David. If the LORD had not been on our side--let Israel say--
1 이스라엘은 이제 말하기를 여호와께서 우리 편에 계시지 아니하셨더라면 우리가 어떻게 하였으랴
1. （大衛上行之詩。）以色列人要說：若不是耶和華幇助我們，
2 if the LORD had not been on our side when men attacked us,
2 사람들이 우리를 치러 일어날 때에 여호와께서 우리 편에 계시지 아니하셨더라면
2. 若不是耶和華幇助我們，當人起來攻擊我們、
3 when their anger flared against us, they would have swallowed us alive;
3 그 때에 그들의 노여움이 우리에게 맹렬하여 우리를 산채로 삼켰을 것이며
3. 向我們發怒的時候，就把我們活活地呑了。
4 the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us,
4 그 때에 물이 우리를 휩쓸며 시내가 우리 영혼을 삼켰을 것이며
4. 那時，波濤必漫過我們，河水必淹沒我們，
5 the raging waters would have swept us away.
5 그 때에 넘치는 물이 우리 영혼을 삼켰을 것이라 할 것이로다
5. 狂傲的水必淹沒我們。
6 Praise be to the LORD, who has not let us be torn by their teeth.
6 우리를 내주어 그들의 이에 씹히지 아니하게 하신 여호와를 찬송할지로다
6. 耶和華是應當稱頌的！他沒有把我們當野食交給他們呑喫（原文是牙齒）。
7 We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped.
7 우리의 영혼이 사냥꾼의 올무에서 벗어난 새 같이 되었나니 올무가 끊어지므로 우리가 벗어났도다
7. 我們好像雀鳥，從捕鳥人的網羅裏逃脫；網羅破裂，我們逃脫了。
8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
8 우리의 도움은 천지를 지으신 여호와의 이름에 있도다
8. 我們得幇助，是在乎倚靠造天地之耶和華的名。
