1 Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved.
1 형제들아 내 마음에 원하는 바와 하나님께 구하는 바는 이스라엘을 위함이니 곧 그들로 구원을 받게 함이라
1. 弟兄們，我心裏所願的，向神所求的，是要以色列人得救。
2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge.
2 내가 증언하노니 그들이 하나님께 열심히 있으나 올바른 지식을 따른 것이 아니니라
2. 我可以證明他們向神有熱心，但不是按著眞知識；
3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness.
3 하나님의 의를 모르고 자기 의를 세우려고 힘써 하나님의 의에 복종하지 아니하였느니라
3. 因爲不知道神的義，想要立自己的義，就不服神的義了。
4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
4 그리스도는 모든 믿는 자에게 의를 이루기 위하여 율법의 마침이 되시니라
4. 律法的總結就是基督，使凡信他的都得著義。
5 Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them."
5 모세가 기록하되 율법으로 말미암는 의를 행하는 사람은 그 의로 살리라 하였거니와
5. 摩西寫著說：人若行那出於律法的義，就必因此活著。
6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down)
6 믿음으로 말미암는 의는 이같이 말하되 네 마음에 누가 하늘에 올라가겠느냐 하지 말라 하니 올라가겠느냐 함은 그리스도를 모셔 내리려는 것이요
6. 惟有出於信心的義如此說：你不要心裏說：誰要升到天上去呢？就是要領下基督來；
7 "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).
7 혹은 누가 무저갱에 내려가겠느냐 하지 말라 하니 내려가겠느냐 함은 그리스도를 죽은 자 가운데서 모셔 올리려는 것이라
7. 誰要下到陰間去呢？就是要領基督從死裏上來。
8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
8 그러면 무엇을 말하느냐 말씀이 네게 가까워 네 입에 있으며 네 마음에 있다 하였으니 곧 우리가 전파하는 믿음의 말씀이라
8. 他到底怎麽說呢？他說：這道離你不遠，正在你口裏，在你心裏。就是我們所傳信主的道。
9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
9 네가 만일 네 입으로 예수를 주로 시인하며 또 하나님께서 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 것을 네 마음에 믿으면 구원을 받으리라
9. 你若口裏認耶穌爲主，心裏信神叫他從死裏復活，就必得救。
10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
10 사람이 마음으로 믿어 의에 이르고 입으로 시인하여 구원에 이르느니라
10. 因爲人心裏相信，就可以稱義；口裏承認，就可以得救。
11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
11 성경에 이르되 누구든지 그를 믿는 자는 부끄러움을 당하지 아니하리라 하니
11. 經上說：凡信他的人必不至於羞愧。
12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
12 유대인이나 헬라인이나 차별이 없음이라 한 분이신 주께서 모든 사람의 주가 되사 그를 부르는 모든 사람에게 부요하시도다
12. 猶太人和希利尼人並沒有分別，因爲衆人同有一位主；他也厚待一切求告他的人。
13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
13 누구든지 주의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 받으리라
13. 因爲凡求告主名的，就必得救。
14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
14 그런즉 그들이 믿지 아니하는 이를 어찌 부르리요 듣지도 못한 이를 어찌 믿으리요 전파하는 자가 없이 어찌 들으리요
14. 然而，人未曾信他，怎能求他呢？未曾聽見他，怎能信他呢？沒有傳道的，怎能聽見呢？
15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
15 보내심을 받지 아니하였으면 어찌 전파하리요 기록된 바 아름답도다 좋은 소식을 전하는 자들의 발이여 함과 같으니라
15. 若沒有奉差遣，怎能傳道呢？如經上所記：報福音、傳喜信的人，他們的脚蹤何等佳美。
16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?"
16 그러나 그들이 다 복음을 순종하지 아니하였도다 이사야가 이르되 주여 우리가 전한 것을 누가 믿었나이까 하였으니
16. 只是人沒有都聽從福音，因爲以賽亞說：主阿，我們所傳的有誰信呢？
17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
17 그러므로 믿음은 들음에서 나며 들음은 그리스도의 말씀으로 말미암았느니라
17. 可見信道是從聽道來的，聽道是從基督的話來的。
18 But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: "Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."
18 그러나 내가 말하노니 그들이 듣지 아니하였느냐 그렇지 아니하니 그 소리가 온 땅에 퍼졌고 그 말씀이 땅 끝까지 이르렀도다 하였느니라
18. 但我說，人沒有聽見麽？誠然聽見了。他們的聲音傳遍天下；他們的言語傳到地極。
19 Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, "I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding."
19 그러나 내가 말하노니 이스라엘이 알지 못하였느냐 먼저 모세가 이르되 내 백성 아닌 자로써 너희를 시기하게 하며 미련한 백성으로써 너희를 노엽게 하리라 하였고
19. 我再說，以色列人不知道麽？先有摩西說：我要用那不成子民的，惹動你們的憤恨；我要用那無知的民觸動你們怒氣。
20 And Isaiah boldly says, "I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me."
20 이사야는 매우 담대하여 내가 나를 찾지 아니한 자들에게 찾은 바 되고 내게 묻지 아니한 자들에게 나타났노라 말하였고
20. 又有以賽亞放膽說：沒有尋找我的，我叫他們遇見；沒有訪問我的，我向他們顯現。
21 But concerning Israel he says, "All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people."
21 이스라엘에 대하여 이르되 순종하지 아니하고 거슬러 말하는 백성에게 내가 종일 내 손을 벌렸노라 하였느니라
21. 至於以色列人，他說：我整天伸手招呼那悖逆頂嘴的百姓。
