1 When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples,
1 예수께서 이 말씀을 다 마치시고 제자들에게 이르시되
1. 耶穌說完了這一切的話，就對門徒說：
2 "As you know, the Passover is two days away--and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified."
2 너희가 아는 바와 같이 이틀이 지나면 유월절이라 인자가 십자가에 못 박히기 위하여 팔리리라 하시더라
2. 你們知道，過兩天是逾越節，人子將要被交給人，釘在十字架上。
3 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,
3 그 때에 대제사장들과 백성의 장로들이 가야바라 하는 대제사장의 관정에 모여
3. 那時，祭司長和民間的長老聚集在大祭司稱爲該亞法的院裏。
4 and they plotted to arrest Jesus in some sly way and kill him.
4 예수를 흉계로 잡아 죽이려고 의논하되
4. 大家商議要用詭計拿住耶穌，殺他，
5 "But not during the Feast," they said, "or there may be a riot among the people."
5 말하기를 민란이 날까 하노니 명절에는 하지 말자 하더라
5. 只是說：當節的日子不可，恐怕民間生亂。
6 While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper,
6 예수께서 베다니 나병환자 시몬의 집에 계실 때에
6. 耶穌在伯大尼長大痲瘋的西門家裏，
7 a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.
7 한 여자가 매우 귀한 향유 한 옥합을 가지고 나아와서 식사하시는 예수의 머리에 부으니
7. 有一個女人拿著一玉甁極貴的香膏來，趁耶穌坐席的時候，澆在他的頭上。
8 When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. "Why this waste?" they asked.
8 제자들이 보고 분개하여 이르되 무슨 의도로 이것을 허비하느냐
8. 門徒看見就很不喜悅，說：何用這樣的枉費呢！
9 "This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor."
9 이것을 비싼 값에 팔아 가난한 자들에게 줄 수 있었겠도다 하거늘
9. 這香膏可以賣許多錢，賙濟窮人。
10 Aware of this, Jesus said to them, "Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me.
10 예수께서 아시고 그들에게 이르시되 너희가 어찌하여 이 여자를 괴롭게 하느냐 그가 내게 좋은 일을 하였느니라
10. 耶穌看出他們的意思，就說：爲甚麽難爲這女人呢？他在我身上作的是一件美事。
11 The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me.
11 가난한 자들은 항상 너희와 함께 있거니와 나는 항상 함께 있지 아니하리라
11. 因爲常有窮人和你們同在；只是你們不常有我。
12 When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.
12 이 여자가 내 몸에 이 향유를 부은 것은 내 장례를 위하여 함이니라
12. 他將這香膏澆在我身上是爲我安葬作的。
13 I tell you the truth, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."
13 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 온 천하에 어디서든지 이 복음이 전파되는 곳에서는 이 여자가 행한 일도 말하여 그를 기억하리라 하시니라
13. 我實在告訴你們，普天之下，無論在甚麽地方傳這福音，也要述說這女人所行的，作個記念。
14 Then one of the Twelve--the one called Judas Iscariot--went to the chief priests
14 그 때에 열둘 중의 하나인 가룟 유다라 하는 자가 대제사장들에게 가서 말하되
14. 當下，十二門徒裏有一個稱爲加略人猶大的，去見祭司長，
15 and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty silver coins.
15 내가 예수를 너희에게 넘겨 주리니 얼마나 주려느냐 하니 그들이 은 삼십을 달아 주거늘
15. 說：我把他交給你們，你們願意給我多少錢？他們就給了他三十塊錢。
16 From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.
16 그가 그 때부터 예수를 넘겨 줄 기회를 찾더라
16. 從那時候，他就找機會要把耶穌交給他們。
17 On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?"
17 무교절의 첫날에 제자들이 예수께 나아와서 이르되 유월절 음식 잡수실 것을 우리가 어디서 준비하기를 원하시나이까
17. 除酵節的第一天，門徒來問耶穌說：你喫逾越節的筵席，要我們在那裏給你豫備？
18 He replied, "Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, 'The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.'"
18 이르시되 성 안 아무에게 가서 이르되 선생님 말씀이 내 때가 가까이 왔으니 내 제자들과 함께 유월절을 네 집에서 지키겠다 하시더라 하라 하시니
18. 耶穌說：你們進城去，到某人那裏，對他說：夫子說：我的時候快到了，我與門徒要在你家裏守逾越節。
19 So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.
19 제자들이 예수께서 시키신 대로 하여 유월절을 준비하였더라
19. 門徒遵著耶穌所吩咐的就去豫備了逾越節的筵席。
20 When evening came, Jesus was reclining at the table with the Twelve.
20 저물 때에 예수께서 열두 제자와 함께 앉으셨더니
20. 到了晩上，耶穌和十二個門徒坐席。
21 And while they were eating, he said, "I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me."
21 그들이 먹을 때에 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희 중의 한 사람이 나를 팔리라 하시니
21. 正喫的時候，耶穌說：我實在告訴你們，你們中間有一個人要賣我了。
22 They were very sad and began to say to him one after the other, "Surely not I, Lord?"
22 그들이 몹시 근심하여 각각 여짜오되 주여 나는 아니지요
22. 他們就甚憂愁，一個一個的問他說：主，是我麽？
23 Jesus replied, "The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me.
23 대답하여 이르시되 나와 함께 그릇에 손을 넣는 그가 나를 팔리라
23. 耶穌回答說：同我蘸手在盤子裏的，就是他要賣我。
24 The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born."
24 인자는 자기에게 대하여 기록된 대로 가거니와 인자를 파는 그 사람에게는 화가 있으리로다 그 사람은 차라리 태어나지 아니하였더라면 제게 좋을 뻔하였느니라
24. 人子必要去世，正如經上指著他所寫的；但賣人子的人有禍了！那人不生在世上倒好。
25 Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, "Surely not I, Rabbi?" Jesus answered, "Yes, it is you."
25 예수를 파는 유다가 대답하여 이르되 랍비여 나는 아니지요 대답하시되 네가 말하였도다 하시니라
25. 賣耶穌的猶大問他說：拉比，是我麽？耶穌說：你說的是。
26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body."
26 그들이 먹을 때에 예수께서 떡을 가지사 축복하시고 떼어 제자들에게 주시며 이르시되 받아서 먹으라 이것은 내 몸이니라 하시고
26. 他們喫的時候，耶穌拿起餅來，祝福，就擘開，遞給門徒，說：你們拿著喫，這是我的身體；
27 Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you.
27 또 잔을 가지사 감사 기도하시고 그들에게 주시며 이르시되 너희가 다 이것을 마시라
27. 又拿起杯來，祝謝了，遞給他們，說：你們都喝這個；
28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
28 이것은 죄 사함을 얻게 하려고 많은 사람을 위하여 흘리는 바 나의 피 곧 언약의 피니라
28. 因爲這是我立約的血，爲多人流出來，使罪得赦。
29 I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father's kingdom."
29 그러나 너희에게 이르노니 내가 포도나무에서 난 것을 이제부터 내 아버지의 나라에서 새 것으로 너희와 함께 마시는 날까지 마시지 아니하리라 하시니라
29. 但我告訴你們，從今以後，我不再喝這葡萄汁，直到我在我父的國裏同你們喝新的那日子。
30 When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
30 이에 그들이 찬미하고 감람 산으로 나아가니라
30. 他們唱了詩，就出來往橄欖山去。
31 Then Jesus told them, "This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: "'I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'
31 그 때에 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 오늘 밤에 너희가 다 나를 버리리라 기록된 바 내가 목자를 치리니 양의 떼가 흩어지리라 하였느니라
31. 那時，耶穌對他們說：今夜，你們爲我的緣故都要跌倒。因爲經上記著說：我要擊打牧人，羊就分散了。
32 But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee."
32 그러나 내가 살아난 후에 너희보다 먼저 갈릴리로 가리라
32. 但我復活以後，要在你們以先往加利利去。
33 Peter replied, "Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will."
33 베드로가 대답하여 이르되 모두 주를 버릴지라도 나는 결코 버리지 않겠나이다
33. 彼得說：衆人雖然爲你的緣故跌倒，我卻永不跌倒。
34 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times."
34 예수께서 이르시되 내가 진실로 네게 이르노니 오늘 밤 닭 울기 전에 네가 세 번 나를 부인하리라
34. 耶穌說：我實在告訴你，今夜雞叫以先，你要三次不認我。
35 But Peter declared, "Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you." And all the other disciples said the same.
35 베드로가 이르되 내가 주와 함께 죽을지언정 주를 부인하지 않겠나이다 하고 모든 제자도 그와 같이 말하니라
35. 彼得說：我就是必須和你同死，也總不能不認你。衆門徒都是這樣說。
36 Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, "Sit here while I go over there and pray."
36 이에 예수께서 제자들과 함께 겟세마네라 하는 곳에 이르러 제자들에게 이르시되 내가 저기 가서 기도할 동안에 너희는 여기 앉아 있으라 하시고
36. 耶穌同門徒來到一個地方，名叫客西馬尼，就對他們說：你們坐在這裏，等我到那邊去禱告。
37 He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled.
37 베드로와 세베대의 두 아들을 데리고 가실새 고민하고 슬퍼하사
37. 於是帶著彼得和西庇太的兩個兒子同去，就憂愁起來，極其難過，
38 Then he said to them, "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me."
38 이에 말씀하시되 내 마음이 매우 고민하여 죽게 되었으니 너희는 여기 머물러 나와 함께 깨어 있으라 하시고
38. 便對他們說：我心裏甚是憂傷，幾乎要死；你們在這裏等候，和我一同儆醒。
39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
39 조금 나아가사 얼굴을 땅에 대시고 엎드려 기도하여 이르시되 내 아버지여 만일 할 만하시거든 이 잔을 내게서 지나가게 하옵소서 그러나 나의 원대로 마시옵고 아버지의 원대로 하옵소서 하시고
39. 他就稍往前走，俯伏在地，禱告說：我父阿，倘若可行，求你叫這杯離開我。然而，不要照我的意思，只要照你意思。
40 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. "Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?" he asked Peter.
40 제자들에게 오사 그 자는 것을 보시고 베드로에게 말씀하시되 너희가 나와 함께 한 시간도 이렇게 깨어 있을 수 없더냐
40. 來到門徒那裏，見他們睡著了，就對彼得說：怎麽樣？你們不能同我儆醒片時麽？
41 "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."
41 시험에 들지 않게 깨어 기도하라 마음에는 원이로되 육신이 약하도다 하시고
41. 總要儆醒禱告，免得入了迷惑。你們心靈固然願意，肉體卻軟弱了。
42 He went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done."
42 다시 두 번째 나아가 기도하여 이르시되 내 아버지여 만일 내가 마시지 않고는 이 잔이 내게서 지나갈 수 없거든 아버지의 원대로 되기를 원하나이다 하시고
42. 第二次又去禱告說：我父阿，這杯若不能離開我，必要我喝，就願你的意旨成全。
43 When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy.
43 다시 오사 보신즉 그들이 자니 이는 그들의 눈이 피곤함일러라
43. 又來，見他們睡著了，因爲他們的眼睛困倦。
44 So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.
44 또 그들을 두시고 나아가 세 번째 같은 말씀으로 기도하신 후
44. 耶穌又離開他們去了。第三次禱告，說的話還是與先前一樣。
45 Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
45 이에 제자들에게 오사 이르시되 이제는 자고 쉬라 보라 때가 가까이 왔으니 인자가 죄인의 손에 팔리느니라
45. 於是來到門徒那裏，對他們說：現在你們仍然睡覺安歇罷（罷：或作麽？）！時候到了，人子被賣在罪人手裏了。
46 Rise, let us go! Here comes my betrayer!"
46 일어나라 함께 가자 보라 나를 파는 자가 가까이 왔느니라
46. 起來！我們走罷。看哪，賣我的人近了。
47 While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people.
47 말씀하실 때에 열둘 중의 하나인 유다가 왔는데 대제사장들과 백성의 장로들에게서 파송된 큰 무리가 칼과 몽치를 가지고 그와 함께 하였더라
47. 說話之間，那十二個門徒裏的猶大來了，並有許多人帶著刀棒，從祭司長和民間的長老那裏與他同來。
48 Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: "The one I kiss is the man; arrest him."
48 예수를 파는 자가 그들에게 군호를 짜 이르되 내가 입맞추는 자가 그이니 그를 잡으라 한지라
48. 那賣耶穌的給了他們一個暗號，說：我與誰親嘴，誰就是他。你們可以拿住他。
49 Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed him.
49 곧 예수께 나아와 랍비여 안녕하시옵니까 하고 입을 맞추니
49. 猶大隨卽到耶穌跟前，說：請拉比安，就與他親嘴。
50 Jesus replied, "Friend, do what you came for."Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him.
50 예수께서 이르시되 친구여 네가 무엇을 하려고 왔는지 행하라 하신대 이에 그들이 나아와 예수께 손을 대어 잡는지라
50. 耶穌對他說：朋友，你來要作的事，就作罷。於是那些人上前，下手拿住耶穌。
51 With that, one of Jesus' companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.
51 예수와 함께 있던 자 중의 하나가 손을 펴 칼을 빼어 대제사장의 종을 쳐 그 귀를 떨어뜨리니
51. 有跟隨耶穌的一個人伸手拔出刀來，將大祭司的僕人砍了一刀，削掉了他一個耳朵。
52 "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.
52 이에 예수께서 이르시되 네 칼을 도로 칼집에 꽂으라 칼을 가지는 자는 다 칼로 망하느니라
52. 耶穌對他說：收刀入鞘罷！凡動刀的，必死在刀下。
53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
53 너는 내가 내 아버지께 구하여 지금 열두 군단 더 되는 천사를 보내시게 할 수 없는 줄로 아느냐
53. 你想，我不能求我父現在爲我差遣十二營多天使來麽？
54 But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"
54 내가 만일 그렇게 하면 이런 일이 있으리라 한 성경이 어떻게 이루어지겠느냐 하시더라
54. 若是這樣，經上所說，事情必須如此的話怎麽應驗呢？
55 At that time Jesus said to the crowd, "Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me.
55 그 때에 예수께서 무리에게 말씀하시되 너희가 강도를 잡는 것 같이 칼과 몽치를 가지고 나를 잡으러 나왔느냐 내가 날마다 성전에 앉아 가르쳤으되 너희가 나를 잡지 아니하였도다
55. 當時，耶穌對衆人說：你們帶著刀棒出來拿我，如同拿强盜麽？我天天坐在殿裏敎訓人，你們並沒有拿我。
56 But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled." Then all the disciples deserted him and fled.
56 그러나 이렇게 된 것은 다 선지자들의 글을 이루려 함이니라 하시더라 이에 제자들이 다 예수를 버리고 도망하니라
56. 但這一切的事成就了，爲要應驗先知書上的話。當下，門徒都離開他逃走了。
57 Those who had arrested Jesus took him to Caiaphas, the high priest, where the teachers of the law and the elders had assembled.
57 예수를 잡은 자들이 그를 끌고 대제사장 가야바에게로 가니 거기 서기관과 장로들이 모여 있더라
57. 拿耶穌的人把他帶到大祭司該亞法那裏去；文士和長老已經在那裏聚會。
58 But Peter followed him at a distance, right up to the courtyard of the high priest. He entered and sat down with the guards to see the outcome.
58 베드로가 멀찍이 예수를 따라 대제사장의 집 뜰에까지 가서 그 결말을 보려고 안에 들어가 하인들과 함께 앉아 있더라
58. 彼得遠遠的跟著耶穌，直到大祭司的院子，進到裏面，就和差役同坐，要看這事到底怎樣。
59 The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death.
59 대제사장들과 온 공회가 예수를 죽이려고 그를 칠 거짓 증거를 찾으매
59. 祭司長和全公會尋找假見證控告耶穌，要治死他。
60 But they did not find any, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally two came forward
60 거짓 증인이 많이 왔으나 얻지 못하더니 후에 두 사람이 와서
60. 雖有好些人來作假見證，總得不著實據。末後有兩個人前來，說：
61 and declared, "This fellow said, 'I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.'"
61 이르되 이 사람의 말이 내가 하나님의 성전을 헐고 사흘 동안에 지을 수 있다 하더라 하니
61. 這個人曾說：我能拆毁神的殿，三日內又建造起來。
62 Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, "Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?"
62 대제사장이 일어서서 예수께 묻되 아무 대답도 없느냐 이 사람들이 너를 치는 증거가 어떠하냐 하되
62. 大祭司就站起來，對耶穌說：你甚麽都不回答麽？這些人作見證告你的是甚麽呢？
63 But Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God."
63 예수께서 침묵하시거늘 대제사장이 이르되 내가 너로 살아 계신 하나님께 맹세하게 하노니 네가 하나님의 아들 그리스도인지 우리에게 말하라
63. 耶穌卻不言語。大祭司對他說：我指著永生神叫你起誓告訴我們，你是神的兒子基督不是？
64 "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."
64 예수께서 이르시되 네가 말하였느니라 그러나 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이후에 인자가 권능의 우편에 앉아 있는 것과 하늘 구름을 타고 오는 것을 너희가 보리라 하시니
64. 耶穌對他說：你說的是。然而，我告訴你們，後來你們要看見人子坐在那權能者的右邊，駕著天上的雲降臨。
65 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, "He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy.
65 이에 대제사장이 자기 옷을 찢으며 이르되 그가 신성 모독 하는 말을 하였으니 어찌 더 증인을 요구하리요 보라 너희가 지금 이 신성 모독 하는 말을 들었도다
65. 大祭司就撕開衣服，說：他說了僭妄的話，我們何必再用見證人呢？這僭妄的話，現在你們都聽見了。
66 What do you think?" "He is worthy of death," they answered.
66 너희 생각은 어떠하냐 대답하여 이르되 그는 사형에 해당하니라 하고
66. 你們的意見如何？他們回答說：他是該死的。
67 Then they spit in his face and struck him with their fists. Others slapped him
67 이에 예수의 얼굴에 침 뱉으며 주먹으로 치고 어떤 사람은 손바닥으로 때리며
67. 他們就吐唾沫在他臉上，用拳頭打他；也有用手掌打他的，說：
68 and said, "Prophesy to us, Christ. Who hit you?"
68 이르되 그리스도야 우리에게 선지자 노릇을 하라 너를 친 자가 누구냐 하더라
68. 基督阿！你是先知，告訴我們打你的是誰？
69 Now Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant girl came to him. "You also were with Jesus of Galilee," she said.
69 베드로가 바깥 뜰에 앉았더니 한 여종이 나아와 이르되 너도 갈릴리 사람 예수와 함께 있었도다 하거늘
69. 彼得在外面院子裏坐著，有一個使女前來，說：你素來也是同那加利利人耶穌一夥的。
70 But he denied it before them all. "I don't know what you're talking about," he said.
70 베드로가 모든 사람 앞에서 부인하여 이르되 나는 네가 무슨 말을 하는지 알지 못하겠노라 하며
70. 彼得在衆人面前卻不承認，說：我不知道你說的是甚麽！
71 Then he went out to the gateway, where another girl saw him and said to the people there, "This fellow was with Jesus of Nazareth."
71 앞문까지 나아가니 다른 여종이 그를 보고 거기 있는 사람들에게 말하되 이 사람은 나사렛 예수와 함께 있었도다 하매
71. 旣出去，到了門口，又有一個使女看見他，就對那裏的人說：這個人也是同拿撒勒人耶穌一夥的。
72 He denied it again, with an oath: "I don't know the man!"
72 베드로가 맹세하고 또 부인하여 이르되 나는 그 사람을 알지 못하노라 하더라
72. 彼得又不承認，並且起誓說：我不認得那個人。
73 After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter and said, "Surely you are one of them, for your accent gives you away."
73 조금 후에 곁에 섰던 사람들이 나아와 베드로에게 이르되 너도 진실로 그 도당이라 네 말소리가 너를 표명(表明)한다 하거늘
73. 過了不多的時候，旁邊站著的人前來，對彼得說：你眞是他們一黨的，你的口音把你露出來了。
74 Then he began to call down curses on himself and he swore to them, "I don't know the man!" Immediately a rooster crowed.
74 그가 저주하며 맹세하여 이르되 나는 그 사람을 알지 못하노라 하니 곧 닭이 울더라
74. 彼得就發咒起誓的說：我不認得那個人。立時，雞就叫了。
75 Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken: "Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times." And he went outside and wept bitterly.
